When I bought my new home in Mt. Vernon it needed some work......A LOT of work. It was pretty plain Jane and needed new life, so I came up with a vision then set out to find who could help me get there. The biggest part of the renovation was building a stone veneer fireplace in a 12' vaulted ceiling with linear fireplace and slate hearth and mantle. I came to Carpet One originally just to do some tile work and carpet, and there I met Kristin Billings and a whole world of possibilities opened up for me. They had everything I wanted......carpet, tile to match my existing tile, the stone veneer, and the slate for the mantle....all in one place. Kristin was a joy to work with, guiding me through the maze, and making good suggestions I hadn't thought of, and although I was being a pain sometimes, she always maintained her cool and purpose. The results in my home are stunning, exactly as I had imagined they would be the first day I saw my new home. I couldn't have done it without the professionals of Carpet One, and will be using them again very soon on some other projects I have my eye on.

Carpet one did a great job. Helped with choice of carpet and tile and walked me thru the the whole process. I was nice doing business with locals.

We were introduced to Debbie Monetti and Carpet One by our contractor Holbeck Design and Construction. Debbie is wonderful to work with, an excellent listener and very good design sense. We use Carpet One for virtually all of our interior surfaces; new hardwood floors, new carpet, new counter-tops, and floor and bath tile. Everything came out almost perfectly, one counter-top was pre-cut for the wrong sink and had to be replaced which caused a bit of a delay but was handled perfectly by Debbie and now looks beautiful as does the rest of the materials. I would not hesitate to recommend Debbie and Carpet One . We have another friend who built his house and also used them and is equally pleased. Our house looks great and they were the key supplier. Debbie and Carpet One did a fantastic job helping us select the materials and then getting everything installed properly..

Carpet one's installers did a very poor job to the point that the work needs to be done and the product replaced. Carpet one's response: "not our problem".

I went in looking for a paticulare pieces of Tile. Morgan helped me. Placed the order, when the order came in there was a broken piece of tile. He asked his boss if he could give me the sample on the floor. He was able to an now our bathroom is ready this weekend for your annual Christmas party!!! I love the tile an we are very happy with our project!!! THANK YOU MORGAN!!!

I loved working with Alissa on putting together the flooring and making everything work. She also sent us great people to put down the flooring. Knowledge, caring, hard working and wanted to present their best work. I would recommend all of them to anyone needing flooring. It is beautiful.

We have been going to Mount Vernon Carpet One for many years now for all of our flooring needs. Just recently, we also purchased tile from them for a fireplace surround. They are wonderful folks to work with. They provide great customer service as well as valuable input regarding design, style, appearance, cost, etc. The installers they use are all courteous and accommodating and they do excellent work.
