Such a seamless and wonderful process.. my YAG laser surgery was carried out. Both reception and the Dr were fantastic, professional and very skilled... I would highly recommend this practice to fix any eye issues you may have.

From the moment you enter the building you feel at ease. All COVID controls are in place and you are greeted by a friendly and efficient team. All tests are carried out with ease and precision.
As for John Bolger himself he takes the time to explain everything in detail and gives you time to ask any questions or concerns you may have. I would highly recommend My-iClinic and I would not choose to go to any other clinic.

Having complex visual difficulties since childhood, I was prescribed spectacles with a strong plus correction from the age of 11. Then from my late teens I started to wear contact lenses which gave me a considerable sense of freedom, with very little discomfort. I continued like this for the next 50 years.
After noticing a deterioration in my vision I went for a test at My-iClinic in September 2020.
Mr John Bolger diagnosed cataracts, and explained how modern cataract surgery with implant lenses can give an opportunity to correct long-term visual problems. There was plenty of time to think it over with no pressure whatsoever.
I am very pleased that I decided to go ahead. I had the two surgeries a week apart on 7 and 14 December. All the staff were kind and reassuring when I felt nervous about the surgery. Post-operative discomfort was minimal, and almost gone by the second day.
Now more than 6 weeks later, both eyes are healthy and I have much better distance vision with no spectacles or contact lenses. My choice was to concentrate on achieving the best possible distance vision and to wear spectacles for reading, which I view as a very minor inconvenience!
So I am very grateful to Mr John Bolger and everyone at My-iClinic. I hope this review will encourage other patients who may be hesitant.

Excellent service as on previous visits. Just had cataract implant surgery by Mr. Bolger. All gone very smoothly. (Clinic took great, sympathetic care of my 97 year old mother earlier too.) All staff at the clinic are totally professional but friendly and accessible. You can call them if you have concerns without feeling you are a nuisance. Care is taken over hygiene and Covid security and the clinic is well equipped for running many different eye tests. I always recommend them to my friends as I have only had good experiences there.

I found all the nurses most helpful & caring. Freddie, the chief receptionist was particularly courteous & helpful with extra information when I wanted it.
Mr Bolger performed an excellent operation to remove my cataracts& I now find the world in greater in colour & light.

My mother was treated professionally and with kindness as she is 96. A week on and her sight is greatly improved .

All went well. The procedure was painless and comfortable. My eyesight has improved 100%. All seems to be fine thanks to the excellent service received. The Clinic is located in a very convenient position with plenty of car parking available for persons arriving by road.

I had a warm welcome. I was nervous as my husband could not be with me because of covid19. Staff were re-assuring. I had a couch to myself. There was plenty of space and sanitiser and everywhere was scrupulously clean. The double cataract operation was a success and I could see very well the following day. Mr Bolger was quick, highly efficient and informative. I would recommend him and the clinic without reserve.

Efficient, professional and an excellent result.

My only criticism is having to pay for the covid vaccine. That is not a requirement when visiting the dentist. My procedure was before the variant
was exposed.

I consulted My-iClinic in September 2020 when I realised that I was unlikely to receive cataract surgery on the NHS at this point (very long delays due to Covid-19) and I am so glad that I did.
From start to finish I felt welcomed, comfortable and in safe hands. The patient co-ordinator was kind, efficient and always responsive to any enquiries.
I received excellent care from Mr John Bolger and his expert team of technicians and nurses. The after care instructions were clear and the follow up was thorough.
