Not being technology savvy finding my…

Not being technology savvy finding my way to 'register microchip' I found a little confusing at first. Started from the beginning & found my way the second time. Once on the correct page the rest was simple.

After waiting nearly 2 months for our…

After waiting nearly 2 months for our Mat-tag they finally arrived after numerous calls and emails now the next bit which is so frustrating is I need to activate the Mat-tag!!! And nope I can't do it as it keeps on telling me I need to pay again which I've already done! Yet again calls and emails to ask for help and nope no replies or anything! It's really disappointing people have to go through all this shambles just to keep their animals safe and traceable if lost or found

Website is awful

Website is awful, should be made more clearer where to change ownership of pet, we are not purchasing the chip but we are transferring from breeder to owner, this would be the same if anyone is taking over an older pet

Tries to contact them by phone 6 times. Left 2 messages. No one ever answered back. I was told that changing details for a microchip was free. I had to pay £30. Would never recommend this company to anyone else. Quite confusing...

As a company we take constructive criticism seriously, and endeavour to rectify any issues mentioned.

That being said, we are not sure what your issue is at this time. We have made contact via email and explained that we can rectify your original mistake in uploading your I.D to your registration instead of your pet picture and your response seemed positive so we are disheartened by your 1 star review.

Your email was dealt with as promptly as possible. We did also explain via email, that your pet registration is not affected at all, and that the picture is an optional extra, and not required in any way for the registration to be valid.
Please be aware, we have never used a picture in the event of reuniting a pet, nor is it a legal requirement for a registration. Please be assured this has not affected your registration in any way.

You did not respond to our further emails until we received this review. 1 star reviews can be very damaging to a company reputation, the original mistake was not on our part and can be rectified as we explained.

You did not respond to our previous replies via email, after your initial response, so this review is confusing as it does not match the tone of your initial response.

Please reply to our previous communication, (please check your junk-mail incase).

Some improvements to make for the website

It was not the easiest and most intuitive way to register. The website was displaying two buttons: "register your pet" and "transfer your pet from the old owner". However the second button directs to an error 404 not found page, and I also figure out that "register your pet" is intended with the same aim to transfer the pet from the old owner. Moreover, the website was giving me 2 different options for registering. I wanted to do the full ID but every time I was uploading the picture it was not saving it, but it did save the same picture for the registration only.

Transferring a pet or registering a pet are done via the same process, transferring from a breeder is classed as a pet registration. This is done via the website. A transfer is from a pet registered to a pet owner that needs to be transferred for rehoming purposes. This is done via the same process but we contact the previous owner to authorise the transfer before its completed on our system.
