Purchased an engine w/44K miles was shipped a rusted out 199K...yes 199K engine. Returned & now they will not take my calls or emails. It is shocking that they are being allowed to operate. I have filed cases with the Delaware DOJ, Oregon DOJ, BBB, Internet Fraud & The Federal Trade Commission. It is a long process, but all of their company's, & there are several under different names, are being investigated. Please-Please do your research- check multiple government agencies for filed complaints. And definitely try & buy local if you're able, at least you can drive over & fight for your money. They are a scam & when you dig you'll find that it sounds like they are working from a 'call center' in another country. It has been several months & I am out $3825 and my car still is w/out an engine.
The company will answer if you call from other numbers. but once you tell them who you are, they just hang up and keep blocking numbers. This is not a real company and a total scam. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR TIME. you will regret it.
On May 28, 2024, a used engine was ordered from My Auto Parts Market (MAPM) via their website. The "Pay Invoice" link was not working so I sent the payment via wire transfer directly to MAPM on May 29, 2024. On June 10, 2024, an order status was requested and on June 11, 2024, MAPM confirmed shipment. Then on June 17, 2024, MAPM sent an email stating "The engine mount was broken during shipment, and the engine came back to our shop...". As of today, September 11, 2024, a refund has not been issued. Had to get collection agency and attorney involved.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Straight up scammers.
Richard…. Who is the only person you can speak to no matter what. Can’t talk to billing. Or another rep. Or a manager or boss or anyone. He is all of them but won’t admit it. Is the worst customer service person I have ever met. When he failed to ship my engine for 6 weeks… he said I wasn’t being patient enough. And the delays were my fault for sending in a bad review after 3 weeks of no communication. He still has my money and hasn’t responded to a text or phone call for 5 days. If I didn’t have a job. I would spend my entire time trying to call and annoy and find ways to make sure people don’t ever buy from this company.
I bought a engine from them and it was shipped and the motor has been sitting outside and was full of water before it was shipped to me . now when i call them i have been blocked and no one will return my call. Richard was the one i have been dealing with .
WORST COMMUNICATION and customer service.
Dont even know where to begin.
Purchased engine July 11th. said it would arrive 18th.
Called the 20th and they said they found an issue with it and are getting a differone one. New ETA 25th. called the 26th. They said I never filled out a shipment release form? that they sent. I was never told about this form, found it in my Spam. New Eta August 6th. Called agust 7th. They dont have people to ship it? new eta 15th? all of this is with me having to call them and figure out what is going on. no one is reaching out to let me know they messed up or there is an issue.
They said they woud pay for a car rental for a vacatoin we had planned. Been over week and still havent recieved reimubrsment for that.
Feels like Richard just has a list of things to say like a robot.
If I could give a ZERO rating, I would.
Do not do business with this Company!! We paid for a used engine that was stated to have 44K miles (stated on invoice)…what was shipped was a 199,000 mile, rusty engine that looks like it was sitting in the elements for years. That was over a month and a half ago.
Since then, we have been given nothing but the runaround and delays on returning the engine, getting a refund, or receiving a replacement. Nothing but the same information again and again and stalling. We have been scammed.
Customer service and responsiveness is the worst I have EVER experienced.
I cannot implore highly enough for others to avoid this Company and the experience we have had.
