Myberkey Avis 5

I would give Myberkey zero stars if possible. My experience was completely unsatisfactory:

I ordered a replacement spigot on a Friday with expedited shipping, expecting delivery early the following week. When nothing arrived, I contacted Myberkey and learned they don't ship on weekends and that "expedited shipping" only begins once the order leaves their facility.

A full week after ordering, I still hadn't received my spigot. When I contacted them again, they offered only to refund the shipping fee. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested they send the spigot at no cost, they refused.

It's now been 10 days since placing my order, and tracking information shows it's still being processed. If you're looking for terrible customer service and products that never arrive, Myberkey is the company for you.

This review is about customer service, not the product itself - I can't use what they sent so I haven't used it. I emailed them and asked for an exchange 3 weeks after receiving my shower filter. They then tried to troubleshoot it for multiple emails, after which I finally said I wanted a replacement, not one I had "fixed". (someone with no knowledge of how it works)

They then told me I couldn't exchange it or return it because I was outside the return window. Even though I had originally emailed them within the window asking for an exchange. It seems to me they purposefully tried to push me outside this window so I couldn't return the product. Don't get caught in their games!

Like the other reviewer who gave MyBerkey a 1 star ranking, I had an outrageously bad experience. The unit failed in 2 weeks; when I tried to return it on their 30 day return policy, they said "oh we don't accept USED items back." Not what it said when I bought it, and I NEVER would have bought so expensive a unit without a clear warranty. Look, this is supposed to be top-grade, world class water filtration. Such an item should not fail for many years. My friend has had one of these for 15 years, still going strong. Something is very wrong here. Makes me wonder what they are really selling. Not quality; not good service.

I was sent a unit that didn't pass their prescribed test, although I had just set up another unit without issue. I've spent several weeks back and forth trying to get them to provide me replacements, and they didn't provide any of the testing items.

Great if they get it right the first time. If they don't, they give you endless runaround.

Despicable.

I had a great experience buying the Travel Berkey before we went on our camping vacation this summer. The order came on time. Great prices. And great customer service.
