On Saturday 17/5/2025 I had a 180,000 Km book service for my Kia Cerato completed by the Corio Vic site.
I booked the service online and paid via ZIP at the time of booking.
When I picked up my car I was told there was still $60.40 outstanding.
I said that there shouldn’t be as I paid at the time of booking.
He young man said that he would look into it for me and get back to me.
He left a message on my phone to contact him which I did and he said that it was for an Air Filter that was fitted.
I checked the booking online and the 180,000 Km service includes an Air Filter.

Fast and friendly service!! Staff were fantastic and a good price for service and tyres.

I've always taken my car to mycar Corio for servicing whenever it's due. Recently, I brought it in for preventive maintenance service even though the car was running perfectly fine, just something I’ve always done as a precaution, especially with the colder months approaching.

Yesterday, I tried using the demister button and was surprised to find that it wouldn’t rotate fully, it only turns halfway, and I can hear something blocking it. This wasn’t an issue before the service.

I called and spoke to someone named Justin, who just told me to go see an air conditioning specialist. He didn’t even bother to check what the actual issue was or whether it was something they might have caused. During the service, they mentioned that my aircon filter was dirty and said I could have it replaced whenever I wanted, but again, there was no issue with it before I brought the car in.

It’s frustrating because I brought my car in for routine maintenance with no problems, and now there’s an issue that could’ve resulted from something they did. Instead of taking responsibility or helping me investigate the problem, they’re passing me off to someone else.

The customer service used to be great especially when they wanted your business, but now it feels like they don’t care at all. I’ve been going to mycar Corio for three years, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back.
