I thought it only fair to leave a review after placing my third order. I’ve ordered both spores and liquid culture in the past.

I emailed today as one of my spore syringes seems to have an issue when applied to agar. I placed another order a few minutes later, which was acknowledged in their reply within about five minutes, and the team kindly offered to add an extra spore syringe to my order as a gesture of goodwill.

Mishaps can of course happen, and I genuinely can’t fault the team at all. The products have been great overall, bar this one isolated issue.

As a beginner, I’ve gained confidence, knowledge, and seen genuinely impressive results so far.

Scam.
Waste of time and money.
Use another vendor.

Ordered some gourmet mushroom liquid cultures from Mycotown. Arrived promptly, well packaged, and most importantly, all completely sterile. Great company, highly recommended!

I wrote a negative review before, but it's deleted since, because it appeared that the product is genuine and I was wrong.
Good guys, fast postage and it is what it says on the box.

Superfast delivery, and product looks great. You don't need a microscope to see little buddies :) Highly recommended.

3 out of 3 10ml syringes germinated, & a friend said theirs worked too.
So my review is: viable spores delivered safely.

Super fast delivery and great looking spores!

I have been using Mycotown since i first began growing.I have had no probs at all with there products Quality wise or delivery are spot on.
I have read a few comments on them on QandA but what beginners forget or fail to realise is they are providing a service were they have to very careful how they answer you!!!!. Also growing is gained by trial and error. And that is a must to be a successful grower.

Purchased two grow kits for mushroom spores from these guys late last year which unfortunately failed to colonise, contacted them and they kindly sent out a replacement pair which again failed to colonise.

The final pair they sent out, one of which did colonise (the other failed again) however got halfway to filling the container then stopped, been like that for months now with a small amount of mycelium.

They did admit that they'd had problems with their spore suppliers and they have tried to remedy the problem however I have to say that on the whole I have to give a bad review.

I have used other suppliers over the years and had no problems so I know what I'm doing with the kits but it seems that maybe they had a bad batch? I don't know... Either way I have to give this review. Sorry guys.

Cant rate these guys highly enough , good communication , good response times and resolution of any issues , fast and reliable delivery , very impressed . Lions mane , oysters reishi etc thank you guys cant wait many thanks
