Grub Club Pets | B Corp™ Avis 

Update on 26/06/2025: My dog has now been on Grub Club for about 6 weeks and he no longer has itchy skin, so it was definitely just a short lived reaction due to changing his food. Absolutely delighted.

I have a dog that struggles with itchy skin and allergies. I contacted Grub Club to ask if I could purchase a smaller sample size than what was available on the website to test if their product works for him, and was blown away by their customer service!! They shipped a sample box to me on the same day, which I received really quickly. The sample included dry food, calming sticks and two flavours of their wet food. They also asked me to provide feedback on how my dog gets on with their food, which shows a level of integrity you don't see much these days. After a week of using it, this is what I can say:

It's clearly a high quality product, his digestion difficulties eased, he's eating way less grass than he was and I can see that he feels way more comfortable in his body. He's more relaxed and loves to frolick in the grass now ha-ha. The only slight hiccup is he did get a little more itchy, but I'm not sure if that's down to him getting used to the food change (as he had the same reaction when I changed his food previously to a vet recommended short-term hypoallergic) or his allergies, but I'm going to keep him on it to see if it evens out. The wet food smells very flavourful, not at all bland and my dog was about ready to eat the bowl along with it. The calming sticks work a bomb! He fell asleep face planted in the sofa and stayed there for over an hour lol. He gets very excited whenever I give him one now.

Overall, very happy with the food, and strongly recommend it.

My highly allergic pooch Tigger loves her Grub Club. This has helped control her allergy to meat proteins and she is thriving. I recently introduced the Sit Roll Treats and Peanut Paws Bar for use as high value training food - well it’s so high value she’s obsessed! Customer Service is also excellent

Can’t rate grub club enough. Been using them for over a year now. Had tried other insect based diets however they were not UK based and my dog was not that impressed. She is allergic to animal protein so it was really important I found a good insect based food. She loves grub club. The customer service is always excellent and I’m delighted they’re now B corp certified.

The food has been a game changer. My boy has a lot of digestive issues, suffering with acid reflux, vomiting, reoccurring upset tummy. He was also prone to chewing his feet due to seasonal allergies. Since moving to grub club biscuits, initially and now wet food, his problems have all stopped. He is very healthy and well managed. We tried various hypoallergenic options from the vet which he really didn’t like so this has been amazing for him.

Never had an issue with this company.
Easy to set up subscription, easy to make changes and you always get an email to advise when the next shipment is near due in case you need to make changes.
Kibble size is average, I was told that there were plans to bring out a smaller kibble too but still no sign of that yet. Would have been handy for my two small doggos!
First, my dogs liked this food but now, they seem to have gone off it, it didn't make any difference to one of my dogs allergies but i think she is more environment than food allergy.
So now, one of them just doesn't want to eat it anymore I have had to cancel my subscription ( she would even eat it mixed with other food - she would pick out the other food and leave the grubpets! )
I have no hesitation in recommending this food, ( whilst your dogs will actually eat it! ) in comparison with other subscriptions it is around the same price point as many.
Maybe if the smaller kibble comes out i may try again as this could possibly be putting her off.

My dog Thomas absolutely loves his new food, his poop is firmer and he’s not chewing his feet anymore.

Grub Club food wet and dry has been a game changer for our 4 year old Cockapoo that has suffered tummy problems and allergies all her life. Her poo’s are the best they have ever been and her coat is so shiny and soft, so much so we get asked all the time is she a puppy. Great Grub Club!

Always get my dog food from Grub Club as she has a sensitive tummy. My dog enjoys the food, it is a good price, quick delivery and customer service is excellent.

I have a 5 year old German shepherd who has suffered from allergies since he was 9 months old.I have tried every food out there from Purina Hypoallergenic to raw and nothing seemed to help his skin or ear infections.The vet put him on Apoquel but I didn’t want him to carry on with that so Dexter has now been on grub club food for nearly 3 months his skin is improving and so far no more ear infections.Amazing!!so easy to order, subscription can be paused or delayed txt messages to tell me it’s on its way.5star plus company

My Beautiful little French Bulldog Pixie,has been bad with yeasty ears and licking paws and more recently suffers early spay incontinence,I decided after much research to try her on the wet grub club (purple box ) no more just swallowing kibble and This wet food is absolutely the best no more dirty ears or licking paws,The incontinence has not occured since being on this however,I'm on watch with this but I highly recommend if your Frenchie has been anything like my Girl,

Excellent. No complaints so far. My dog loves the dry food. Quick deliveries, easy to alter subscriptions & orders.

Repeat delivery on subscription is easy to delay or change. Our dog suffers with severe food sensitivities, the grub club food is the only food we have found that she can eat without reactions. Not only that but she was a fussy eater until the grub club food. She loves the treats too. Communication regarding orders is perfect!

I have had a lot of allergy issues with my Frenchie . He ended up on Apoquel and still had to wear a t shirt as he was so itchy .I tried so many different foods , including raw and even making home cooked meals but nothing helped him . I saw Grub club and decided to give it a go . What a game changer 5 months down the line no t shirt no Apoquel can’t thank you enough ! His skin is normal , no more itching and hot spots and no t shirt . One happy boy 🙂

So far so good! Excellent response to questions, orders processed and delivered quickly.
My daughter’s small Bichon had long standing problems with itchy ears, off and on, and chewing his feet constantly… all of which has completely resolved after consuming 2 bags (12 kg) dry food.
The new wet food doesn’t appear appetising to my eye, but the dog says otherwise! I find it easiest to feed with a little warm water so it can be chopped into smaller pieces.
My observation so far is that he has far more energy than before and poops easily and regularly… ( bonus = not as smelly! )
More expensive than some off the shelf… but it seems to be well worth it in terms of quality of life…

My dog’s are thriving on Grub Club. I have two very athletic Border Collies who work very hard and need high quality food to sustain them and also a very bossy Westie who literally can’t wait long enough for me to put his bowl of food down he loves so much. Highly recommended and great for the planet.

My 3.5yr old French Bulldog, has suffered massively with various allergies since he was a year old. We’ve tried many dietary changes, as well as medication to help him, but the BEST thing I ever did, was put him on to Grub Club kibble. He no longer has constant infected ears or hematomas, no longer chews his feet 24/7, and he’s much happier. I00% recommend this food. The treats are also brilliant.
