Poor service at St Austell.
Following the below it triggered contact offering to get the car looked at by a dealer. Appreciated but a shame it took so long. Have had it fixed elsewhere with a new sensor, they offered to pay the bill but it wasn't much so have drawn a line under this. At 3 stars as the windscreen was replaced but the experience was soured.
5th June - still no contact and unable to get through to branch by phone. Will be taking the car to someone who can actually fix it and will be looking to recover the cost from National.
22nd May - 20 days later,a few calls in and no progress or updates at all on next step\repair...
Currently not a great result - St Austell.
In Branch (due to bad weather): Following a chip repair that enhanced a crack, windscreen replaced.
Replacement was poorly fitted with gaps along top, scratched dashboard and rain sensor no longer working (or sometimes working at full blast and not being able to turn off) along with clearly visible gunk on the fitting. Also charged full replacement excess which should have been reduced by the chip excess already paid.
After a few calls, customer services refunded the difference and sent a message to the branch to arrange re-repair.
No contact from branch so called them direct to be told nothing had been received.
Booked in for repair on drive.
On drive, screen replaced and fitted correctly. A long time spent (appreciated) trying to resolve the wiper issue but unfortunately no luck, technician agreed still an issue and to book in to branch for diagnostics.
In Branch, left car for an hour, got a call to say done, returned and was immediately presented with tablet to sign before seeing the car (declined) to then be told nothing had been done because it was working.
Working unfortunately meant it had been tested with a single squirt from a spray bottle and they went. However auto wipers are supposed to adjust in speed depending on rain fall from slow through an adjustable sensor level ending on high speed in continuous downpour. This wasn't happening, same speed no matter what setting or amount of spray. Demonstrated difference against another Nissan on location to prove, signed as incomplete.
So, either its a now damaged sensor (which seems less likely given it does activate once) or the replacement windscreen (Pilkington) isn't letting the sensor do its job in which case it will need to be replaced with a genuine Nissan item. No other faults on the car. 3 days later, haven't heard back on next steps and cant get through on phone so have emailed customer services. Happy to update this review as the issue progresses and hoping its resolved eventually but at present its not going great.

Not the best experience
Management and online systems were horrendous. Cancelling appointments with no communication, wrong parts ordered and correct parts went missing! 2 weeks to get back on the road and 4 missed appointments.
The technicians were lovely, polite and helpful but someone needs to sort out the organising of the teams as noone knew what was going on!

Happy with new windscreen
New windscreen fitted and camera reprogrammed. Fitter was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. Would have been 5* but first appointment was cancelled due to new windscreen being damaged
