Never again! Abysmal customer service, decreased quality.. steer clear!
I do not trust Naturalizer anymore and will NEVER purchase from them again!
I have been a loyal customer since the early 2000s. They have since closed all their physical locations, their website and email communications are not streamlined and conflicting information is being communicated, the quality of their shoes has gone down drastically in the last 10 or so years and their customer service has become an intentionally difficult, drawn out and discouraging process.
I purchased a pair of boots through their website on a friday, which is a brand that they are sourcing from a third party, and it clearly stated on the product details page that the item was slated to ship on the following monday. The first red flag was that the email confirmation after placing my order stated that the item would be final sale, which was not mentioned anywhere on their site on the product page, nor throughout the entire checkout process. After waiting 8 business days and repeated attempts to communicate with them about this sketchy bait and switch and the lack of shipping notification via email, i reached out to them via phone call. I was told it needed to be escalated.
After my concern was "escalated", i received no follow up to any of my emails and no response regarding my phone call. I had to call back a second time to follow up and was told i would receive a response on the following monday. Instead, with no explanation, i received an automated order cancellation! Still no attempt made on their end to communicate with me.
Now since the item was now being marketed on their site at a reduced price with no information on shipping delays, i placed a new order for the same item immediately. The following day i received an email with some details stating they had no inventory and would not be receiving any inventory until 2026. Due to this, i responded asking them to cancel my new order. I didnt understand why they would put the item on sale and push it when they couldnt fulfill it.. Well the information they provided regarding their lack of inventory was obviously a lie and they spitefully canceled my order due to my requests for assistance because, surprise surprise, the following day, my new order shipped.
I will be promptly returning upon receipt as i bought the item from the actual source for much cheaper and did not have to jump through any hoops to go through the process. Naturalizer has lost a customer for life. Never again. Its been too many times now that ive had to deal with the terrible customer service and the quality just isnt what it used to be.. I know this item that i bought elsewhere is quality because i know and trust the brand but Naturalizer made products, steer clear!!
