Finding NCC was the breakthrough for me to progress my learning. I had been struggling to find the right course with flexibility for online self paced study and at a reasonable price. NCC offered all of that and more. The registration process was simple and the learning platform is so easy to navigate and use. So happy I found NCC.

AVOID!!
UPDATED AVOID!!! WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE Had issues right from the start and wasn‘t able to submit anything. Flagged this with the relevant department with evidence of communication.Not interested and refund requests rejected several times.
Have now been offered a 6 month extension ( I have a full time job and would not be able to complete an entire course in 6 months) and an offer to waive the final instalment. I have paid a total of £450.67 to NCC and have absolutely nothing to show for it. I have now had my laptop looked at and there is nothing wrong with it; I have also studied with the OU online and never had an issue. Absolutely disgusting that they think this an acceptable way to treat people and that they can keep your money without offering the service they advertised.
My direct debit was reinstated several times without my express permission- under the direct debit guarantee this is not permitted.
Appalling way to treat customers, and from so-called "education providers“ I intend to pursue this further.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with your experience, and we take concerns like these seriously.
From the outset of your course, our records show that submissions received were blank documents. Your assigned tutor promptly contacted you to highlight this issue and provided guidance, along with details for our technical support team, to help resolve any potential problems. We did not receive evidence of a system fault on our side.
Regarding your request for a refund, this was reviewed in line with our terms and conditions. As your request was made outside of the agreed cancellation period, we were unfortunately unable to approve a refund. However, in recognition of your circumstances, we offered a 6-month extension to allow additional time to complete your studies, along with a waiver of your final instalment as a gesture of goodwill.
In relation to payment collection, instalments are processed in accordance with the Direct Debit agreement in place at enrolment. Where payments are missed, re-attempts may be made in line with that agreement.
We understand that this situation has been frustrating for you, and we remain willing to support you in completing your course should you wish to continue. Please contact our support team directly so we can assist further.

NCC Home Learning is perfect for…
NCC Home Learning is perfect for people in a position like myself where they need lots of flexibility and to be in control of their own timetable and calendar. Being able to complete your course at your own pace with your own structured routine where it fits into other day-to-day life priorities makes the entire experience of learning so much less stressful for the student (in my case it has anyway.) Still having access to tutor support whilst remote learning was a big deciding factor for me when choosing NCC as my course provider, as I feel very well supported and contacting my tutor is a very easy process, despite not completing face-to-face learning.
NCC Home Learning also offer finance options for some courses (including the one I am currently studying) which has taken a very big weight off my shoulders as I didn't have to financially struggle in order to afford to participate in the course I am on, as I pay one amount on a monthly basis via direct debit. I also really like the fact that as well as accessing all of the learning materials through your account online, there was also an option to purchase a hard copy of all learning materials for the entire course. I study and absorb information much clearer when I am able to put a pen to paper to take notes and make adaptations or highlight key information, which is exactly what I am able to do with having the hard copy of course materials next to my side as I use my computer for further research or assignment work.
