Was told this was a reputable insurance or coverage and they have taken their premiums and refuse to refund their fake premiums
You cover pretty much no prescription drugs which is not what I was told when I signed up.

Every claim was denied and the free medication is a joke. Our medication was listed and when we tried to fill it, they said it wasn't... even though it was still showing on the list. RIP OFF!
UPDATE:
We did NOT receive any rate increase notice as was mentioned in the response and we reached out to the broker that you used to gain our business. The broker informed us on multiple occasions that NetWell was aware of the issue and that since we were brand new customers, we were being grandfathered in at the lower rate.
Your agent informed us that was not the case and gave a flippant response that "if we don't like it, cancel your policy." We gave NetWell a chance, and had a couple claims rejected. The final straw for us was when the medication was on the "free" list of approved medications and still is... was not actually "free".
I should have read the reviews more thoroughly as our negative experience seems to be similar to many others.

I only had the program for 3 months. I was able to get my prescriptions filled so that was good BUT my premiums went up each month. I decided it wasn't a good fit for me and went with someone else.

I had to pay over $4,000 upfront for a colonoscopy. I was told I would get $1,000-$1,500 from NetWell to help offset that. Five months (and MANY MANY phone calls & emails) after the procedure I received a $500 refund from the doctor's office. And now (7 months later) I have a bill from the doctor's office for $500 since the "benefit maximum" was reached...seems NetWell is NOT covering ANY of it? I'm not a math genius, but $500 is NOT near the $1,000 maximum I was told.

My wife had been having dizzy spells and after the third one and driving into a curb, she went to the hospital. Emergency room ended up diagnosing her as a non life threatening issue so Net Well has declined any payments. Non life threatening?? She almost wrecked her vehicle and was weak and disoriented!! Was she suppose to wait and go see her doctor at their convenience?

netWell is virtually worthless when it comes to coverage. It claims it will pay up to $1,500 preventative for colorectal screening but actually declined any payment because my doctor removed polyps. What the heck is the purpose of preventative screening if not to remove polyps if found. netWell is a SCAM operation that looks for any excuses to deny claims.
Received a response from netWell to this review and asked me to call them. I did as asked. They are still worthless. netWell considers any removal of polyps during a colonoscopy as a surgery that essentially voids the promised $1,500 coverage for the preventive care colorectal examination. THE MOST ABSURD THING I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN HEALTH INSURANCE excuses to deny paying the amount of the so-called "preventive care" examination. Essentially, netWell will only pay for the preventive care if the Doctor finds that there is NOTHING to prevent - in other words, if there are no polyps. Again, standard procedure during a colonoscopy is to REMOVE any polyps during the procedure so you don't have to repeat it later for the purpose of removing polyps that you already know are present. I am flabbergasted that ANY healthcare company in America would have just an INANE policy. NEVER, EVER USE netWell as you healthcare provider. IT IS A SCAM. I will be cancelling this so-called coverage as soon as feasible. By: C. Dominguez.

In July of 2023 my family began looking at different health share options. Knowing we wanted to continue to grow our family, I was mostly interested in maternity coverage. It was advertised to me by a health care agent representing Netwell, that maternity care would be fully covered by Netwell as long as my pregnancy began 6 months after joining Netwell. Because this man didn’t work directly for Netwell, I decided to reach out to Netwell to ensure everything I was being told was accurate. The women I spoke with echoed everything the agent had said.
In December of 2023, knowing the 6 month mark was coming up, I looked over the maternity care section of the member guidebook and saw they actually only share up to $15000. I called customer service to inquire about this and was told that everything would be medically repriced down, so that we would not be charged more than $15000 for maternity. At this point I’d had enough interactions with customer service to know that despite how kind and willing to be helpful they are, many times what I had been told wasn’t accurate information, so I reached back out to the first lady I had spoke with, before signing up with Netwell, and she got me in touch with someone in a managerial position within Netwell. I spoke with that lady in January of 2024 and was told yes, it’d be repriced down and taken care of and not to worry.
February of 2024, the 6 month mark rolled around and we got pregnant. Everything was fine I received no bills for lab work or doctors visits throughout the pregnancy. I assumed everything was being handled by Netwell, since my provider was in network and was billing to Netwell directly.
On my due date, I received a call from our hospital stating Netwell was not covering everything, as had been advertised to me, and wanted to know how I would be paying the remaining price. The lady I spoke to at the hospital said they would have no problem medically repricing, she just needed to know what to reprice it down to.
I went back and forth with Netwell and the hospital trying to get everything sorted. After being threatened that they would not cover anything, due to being GBS positive, my husband and I ended up on the phone with the VP of operations. She finally admitted the wording in their guidebook was not conducive to denying sharability for being GBS positive. She apologized and said they would begin working on getting everting repriced and down to a single case agreement. She assured me multiple times that she would take care of it and everything would be handled.
We now have a 4 month old and have learned that only about half of the delivery cost was paid by Netwell, none of my lab work has been paid, none of my daughter’s care in the hospital was paid, and nothing was medically repriced. They claimed they did all they could and had already made exceptions for my family, which I’m assuming refers to the GBS, which they already admitted wasn’t a good policy.
It's so frustrating that I asked specifically about this part of care, repeatedly. I made sure before we signed up, with multiple people and made sure before we got pregnant that everything would be repriced and fully covered, but yet again, Netwell has not fulfilled what I was initially promised. No matter how hard I try with this company, I just can’t get an accurate answer, that everyone in Netwell is fully on board with.
A Christian company should be celebrating life and doing everything they can to celebrate babies being born and encouraging mothers in that area. Instead, I've now never been more scared to get pregnant again.
Edited to reply: I would love to get access to those recordings. Specifically the one from 12/26/23, and any recordings from January 2024, as well as recorded calls from right before we signed up. Thank you.
Edit to update: Netwell has continued to refuse to discuss the phone calls with me despite filing an appeal, which if you’re reading this, you should read my review on their appeals process as well, because it’s a joke

NetWell responded on here and said they were reviewing our case once again. Anyway, I’m writing here to say that once again, netwell has found a loophole. Now all the paperwork I’m getting from them is saying, “charges were not received within the timely filing limitations”, which is interesting, because they were very quick to deny the first time and got the paperwork in plenty of time then. But now when they are promising to re-look at our case, it’s been too long. NETWELL will find any excuse not to pay. Your claims are sitting on someone’s desk for months at a time and not being looked at, so when they finally do, it can be said that they weren’t filed in a timely manner. This company is an absolute disgrace to healthcare. Hey NETWELL, next time tell me the dog ate my paperwork so you can’t review it. Or an alien beamed it back up to space with them. I’m sure you have some new and fancy excuses somewhere in your repertoire of denials that I haven’t heard yet. Come on, I know you have it in you to try to ruin me again. Come on. You can do it!
**edited to add in response to NetWell: Well, that’s interesting, because I’ve received 2 NEW denials within the last week. The one I opened today was for an ER visit for my husband from April of last year, where they were concerned he had a major blockage and/or deadly arrhythmia. He ended up in the cath lab and ICU that day, where they did find a potentially deadly arrhythmia. You denied us the first time because it was a “pre-existing condition”, although he had never been diagnosed with it before, and I sent over 100 pages of documentation from his cardiologist stating the same. I appealed it July of last year, and sent over 100 pages of medical records. Surprisingly, we didn’t hear a single thing from NetWell (again) until I started writing reviews online. And for some crazy reason, NetWell called and claimed they never got my paperwork that I sent in July. Although I showed proof of my automated email saying “thank you for my email” when I sent those 100 pages and was told in that automated email that someone would get back with me soon. I guess I threw a wrench in your loophole when I had documentation of your lie. Anyway, I’ll believe it when I see it, but as of right now, you’re completely untrustworthy, unprofessional, and an embarrassment to healthcare.
Edited again today, 3/17/25 to say that we got three more denials today for the physician fee for the ER and 1 night ICU stay from my husbands deadly arrhythmia that was found on 4/12/24. Thanks NetWell! I’m sure you prayed for us though, just like your automated answering service says you do.

I do not need much of any medical care as I am healthy overall. I needed more of an emergency type coverage. NetWell seems to fit me right now including the cost for coverage. I am concerned that if I need to pay for an emergency, my bills will be very expensive.
