Difficulty logging onto online Forum
I was having difficulty getting onto the online Forum for our development, and after mentioning it to our Property Manager at our AGM, I quickly received a telephone call from Rhea, a bright and friendly Property support person who advised me what to do. She promised an email would be sent with instructions. I received it immediately and have now successfully logged on.
I am delighted with my response from Newton and that they have such a lovely & efficient person dealing with their customers!

Update: On discussing with the property manager, it seems that the issue was the delays caused by the contractor due to their scheduling and weather issues, we apologise for this and note our team kept you advised of our efforts to chase the contractor to attend. We note that the work is complete.

Linda at Newton (Glasgow) who manages our estate organised the repair to a pathway light that was dark and was causing a hazard outside our block. Most issues within the estate are resolved quickly and efficiently.

Terrible customer service
UPDATE FOLLOWING THE REPLY FROM NEWTON:
Called and once again was put through to the property managers voicemail, no response via email either and the leak is considerably worse.
Impossible to get hold of anyone in the Glasgow office.
Always put through to a property managers voicemail and never called back despite being promised an urgent call back - regarding a communal leak.
Their own website says their opening hours are 9.00-16.00 on a Friday, I called them at 15.03 and got an automated message saying their office is closed.

Update response: We cannot find any information relating to your calls, if you could advise what your account number or development name is, we can arrange for the property manager to call you. I have also spoken to our IT team and if you can advise what time you called we can trace the call and check which property manager should call you back.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m very sorry to hear about your experience, especially when you were trying to report an urgent communal leak — that’s not the level of service we aim to provide.
We understand how frustrating it is to be directed to voicemail and not receive the promised call back. I will make sure this is followed up with the property management team so we can understand what went wrong and prevent it happening again.
Regarding the office hours, our website does state that we are open until 4pm on Fridays, but our phone lines switch over at 2pm to allow the team dedicated administration time. Our out of hours service would have been able to assist you with the leak. I appreciate that this wasn’t clear during your call at 15:03, and we will review our messaging to ensure our customers receive accurate and consistent information.
If you’re still experiencing issues with the leak or need further assistance, please contact us directly and we will prioritise resolving this for you.

Great Service...Great Outcome..
I contacted John Mann from Newton Property just after the Xmas holidays to report a kerb sinking into the main drain in our street as it could cause a blockage.
John was very quick in replying to my email and very prompt in getting quotes for the repair, he kept me updated all the way from me reporting it to it getting repaired, which it was all repaired within 9 days, that's what I call quick

Last year I got in touch with John from newton property regarding over grown bushes in a communal area. John quickly got quotes and arranged for the work to be carried out. The work has only just been done due to birds nesting which I completely understand. Overall very happy with the service.
