2 very little used Nexen tyres, one developed a buge in the tyre wall, no damage to tyre wall. Manufacturing / materials fault.
Wrote to Nexen Customer Complaints but I think each complain falls into a black hole.
No answer, no Interest from the company.
Needles to say I won't be buying Nexen ever again and I strongly recommend that you steer clear of their tyres.

Absolute rubbish tyres. These tyres were on my new Golf. One tyre lasted 10,000 miles, the other three lasted to 20,000 miles. In all cases the walls of the tyres were cracked and perished. Do not buy these awful tyres

returned a Nexen tyre via ATS 6 months ago to the manufacturer because i felt it was faulty, no response from Nexen , could not be bothered to say the tyre was not faulty, it was only 13 months old, now i have another Nexen tyre which is cracking between the tread blocks, just over 3 years old, WILL NEVER BUY A NEXEN TYRE AGAIN, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the Nexen tyres on my recently purchased nearly new vehicle. I have observed a noticeable loss of control through the steering wheel when driving over white road markings. This is a worrying issue, and I am keen to resolve it before adverse weather conditions or an accident occurs.

With over forty years of driving experience, I have never encountered this before. Consequently, I have purchased four new Michelin Cross Climate tyres. After driving 1,200 miles on the Nexen tyres, I have decided to dispose of them responsibly, as I could not consider selling them and endangering other people, driver or pedestrian.

Allwetterreifen, Risse im Reifen, 4 Jahre alt und Laufleistung 8000 km, TÜV sagt, extrem viele Reifen mit Baujahr 2020 betroffen.

This tire is potentially lethal in wet conditions. After nearly losing control literally everytime it rains, I finally did have an accident when my vehicle hydroplaned on the highway and smashed into the median. I was only doing 50 mph due to how poorly tires were doing at any higher rate of speed. Do not fall for their cheap price, it's not worth it in the end.

New car came with these fitted. The worst tyres I have ever had in over 40 years motoring. Dry grip is below average, wet grip is borderline dangerous.
Then got a puncture in two tyres driving over some gravel that had washed into the road. Replaced with premium tyres and difference was night and day.

Fitted 2 new Nexen tyres to the rear wheels of my mini. I would class these tyres as dangerous (lethal). My car honestly felt like it was aquaplaning any time i went above 50mph. I originally thought my car must have had a broken suspension until i investigated and came across the other comments about Nexen tyres. Either the BSI, VOSA or DVLA need to take some action. I have reverted back to well known brand.

Purchased 4 new Nexen tyres for my Kia Sportage. On delivery, one tyre was found to be faulty BEFORE being fitted to the rim. Nexen refused to replace this new tyre claiming it was not covered by their warranty! The tyre had never been driven on the road!! So, it's clear that do not accept responsibility for manufacturing faults or have any quality control. Will never buy Nexen again and will revert to a well known brand.

I drive with Nexen N blue 4 Season, and the grip is fantastic. Even in the rain it handles well

My nearly-new Skoda came with Nexen tyres fitted. Two years and 24000 miles later they had developed a noticeable drumming noise and on inspection by the dealer were found to be stepped and worn irregularly across the treads of all four wheels. So I have the expense of replacing all four tyres that are barely half worn down. Not happy.

Awful tyres. Bought a new Kia sportage 2023. Have done 20000 km.
They are very noisy and feel like they are going to break. Will be replacing with better quality tyres. Never driven on such a bad set of tyres. My son also bought a new kia cerato in 2023. He has had to replace the tyres with another brand after 15000 after numerous issues and tyres constantly going flat. Will never purchase these tyres again poor quality and slip in the wet and go flat very quickly.

Habe in 2019 4x neue Nexen-Sommerreifen 275x45 R20 (Aufkleber waren noch drauf) zu meinem Autokauf dazu bekommen, da die alten nur noch für max. 5-8000km zu gebrauchen waren. Herstelljahr 2019.
Montiert habe ich sie 2020. Gelagert waren sie bis dahin in meinem trockenen kühlen und sauberen Keller. Sie waren nur im Sommer drauf und haben max. 15.000km gelaufen, akt. noch über 6mm Profiltiefe.
Vor Kurzem habe ich die selben Risse, wie andere betroffene Kunden festgestellt. Die Risse sind an allen 4 Reifen, umlaufend von außen nach innen an den Profilblöcken zu finden und das nach gerade einmal 4 Jahren im Einsatz. Mein Fzg. hat Vmax von 250km/h.
Werde die Reifen jetzt tausche und kein Risiko eingehen. NEXEN werde ich jedoch weder empfehlen noch kaufen - niemals!
Aus meiner Sicht absoluter Betrug am Kunden. Der tel. Service verweist darauf "...dann hätten Sie eben einen Conti kaufen müssen...", ...Schließlich ist Nexen kein hochwertiges Produkt..." und "..man kann eben einen Golf nicht moit einem Mercedes vergleichen..."
Es steht aber auch nicht drauf, daß man die Reifen nur 3 Jahre bedenkenlos fahren darf!
Der Tod des Kunden und Unbeteiligter wird von den Firmenbossen aufgrund Profitgier billigend in Kauf genommen!

I bought a 2022 tyre in 2023 ...it failed in 2024 july ...the worst tyre ive tried to date

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I bought a new KIA Car that come up with Nexen Tire. With in two months tires start bubbling and creating sound due to cracks and internal damage. The worst thing is that even the customer service was not ready to accept their mistake and producing fake reports to put the damages on the user.

Sidewall blew out with only 8600 miles on new car. I recommend keeping your family safe by running away from these badly made tires. Very thin, with widely spaced belts belt make these tires a real safety hazard. We will not drive another mile on Nexen tires.

Last year i had 2x nexen nfera su1 225/45/19 fitted by my local Renault garage. Its less than a year and about 9-10k miles and there is like 3mm tread left on them. Rubish..

Tyres are shredded at 30.000 km! Conservative lady driver. Came on my new car. Cheap rubbish!

Hatte meine 4 Nexen N Fera Primus Reifen zur Reklamation eingeschickt. Habe bescheid bekommen das 2 Reifen zu 90% und 2 zu 80% erstattet werden.
Zur Vorgeschichte habe die Reifen 2022/04 gekauft und bin ca 16-17 Tkm gesammt
gefahren in den 3 Jahren (Zweitwagen) . Nach ca 1 Jahr hat man Rissbildungen ganz außen (Lammelen) innen und außen erkennen können nur ca. 3-4 mm Lang...... wurde immer schlimmer bis die ca 1-1.5cm lang waren nach etwa 3 Jahren und ca 2-3mm tief. Also war für mich Schluß da es mir zu gefährlich wurde.
Alle 4 Reifen waren so.Selbst in den Rillen (Verschleißmarker) waren bei 3 Reifen vorhanden etwa 30-40 cm lang und ca 1mm tief......Grauenhaft
An sich war die Reklamation recht unkompliziert ich hatte mit einem netten Mann gesprochen von Nexen und die Reifen dann zu Atu gebracht wo ich diese damals gekauft hatte.
Atu hat diese eingeschickt zur Analyse.
Für mich ist das ganz klar ein Produktionsfehler sprich schlechte Reifenmischung da alle vier das gleiche Fehlerbild mit den Rissen hatten..... und ob ich nun 16Tkm gefahren bin damit..... ist fast nichts......
Wäre korrekt von Nexen gewesen den kompletten Preis zu erstatten zumal ich umkosten für abziehen und jetzt für neue Reifen aufziehen und wuchten habe durch deren Mist.
Definitiv werde ich Nexen Reifen nie wieder kaufen...... wird viel von Nexen versprochen und geworben..... jedoch ist die Qualität der Reifen einfach nur schlecht.... selbst die billigsten Reifen denke ich wären schon besser als Nexen.
Schade das man keine Bilder hochladen kann damit man es selbst sieht.
Besser etwas anderes Kaufen erspart man sich ein hin und her.
Lieber 130€ Verlust in Kauf nehmen als mein oder jenes Leben.
Lebensgefahr!!!!!!
