First time I have used to OBD kit. A doddle to fit in my Cupra Terramar. Easiest way to wire the Dashcam into the car.

The Nextbase OBD Power Cable offers a simple plug & play solution with a 5-metre cable to give you the ability to install the power cable in your vehicle to meet your needs.
By using your vehicles OBD port the Dash Cam will be connected to a permanent power supply ensuring the camera is not only recording while you’re driving but also can access the power in the event of a collision when your vehicle is parked. The OBD port eliminates the need to use the 12V outlet (car cigarette socket). It includes a 90° connector for an easier connection, as well as an LED indicator light to show when the Dash Cam is connected, and power is available. *Compatible with vehicles with an OBD port.

Plenty of cable indeed rather a lot i had to hide a small bundle but it was easy to “bury/conceal” the cable to the camera as it wasn't too thick like some makes. Only comment which may be pertinent to just nissans is that the cable leaving the obd2 connecter comes out of the left side. There is virtually no space on the port frame to allow the cable to be routed away and allow the connecter to be plugged in. I struggled to get the cable bent enough to plug in the connecter. If the connecting cable could have been brought out of the lower bottom of the obd2 plug it would make the task easy. As with other items all well made and excellent instructions.

Really good. Very easy to install in my OBD socket. The only slight problem I have is that it does run my battery down a bit but I think my battery is quite old!

great just the OBD part is a little bulky and does not fit into my Hyundai Tucson (NX4) fuse box. i need to remove the OBD from the clip and connect it up loosely behind dash.

Nice long cable and the obd plug is not bulky, cable is nice and thin to tuck it up wherever you need to.

New car didn't have 12v socket didn't want to wire into fusebox so this was the perfec solution the obd socket seemed flexible and weak but once securely fitted worked fine then the usual fiddly hiding of the cable behind rubbers on the door frame and XX Pillar the cable length was long and had to tape the excess under the dash Works perfectly and even if you do have a 12 volt socket this frees it up for other items

Very easy to use, just plug it in and hide the wire. Done. Have not had a flat battery from having my dash cam in parking mode which was my main concern. Would recommend.

I needed to extend the wire of my dashcam to fit it neatly round the car. This lead ecelled my wishes as it allowed me to use the obdc port to power the camara which was more convenient.
