Your service time wise was excellent, delivered within 4 days. I went to 3 “Halford” shops who sell next base products, on each occasion I was told they were out of stock, two of the outlets said the product was discontinued and no longer available ?. Most importantly, the tightening nut for the component was not in the package.

I needed a micro 2 piggyback fuse connector, ordered on a Monday, arrived on Wednesday. At £5 including postage I thought was reasonable.
I noticed that if you buy a hardwired kit from Halfords and require a micro 2 piggyback fuse Nextbase will supply one free of charge (June 2022).

I was a bit anxious of buying my first dash cam as usually technology is not so straight forward.

Granted the first one i ordered (522GW model) would not connect to the app so i had to return it. I then ordered the dual front and rear camera version, and this all worked first time.

Really easy to install to my cigar lighter discreetly. I would like to wire into fuse but need to research this as my car fuse box is hidden somewhere
.
Need to tweak the settings to set it up for full capacity use but so far seems easy and this one work well with the app.

I then bought the dual front and back set instead and so far, touch wood it’s been fine. Would like to explore the settings more and playback some footage sometime to see how clear it is.

Also bought a Samsung 128GB memory card instead of there one for £12.00 on eBay and it works fine no need to format.

I wish in future they could have them so they can angle upward and down even more as i prefer to have mine under the existing rear view mirror so i can also glance at it in operation (they are really made for left hand side behind the mirror - which i think is silly).Instead mine is of the black plastic that comes down the windscreen with sensors. If I could angle it down more that would be better but i have done so just above the bonnet being in shot. Rear seems to be ok but as it’s a magnetic ball you have to fiddle with it to make it level, which is tricky to do, and it can move about so i have used sticky cable holders to hold its cable in place, so the ball does not move.

I did buy the suction cup mount from their site so i could take it with me in another's car as well. An odd thing I only just noticed which gives the camera more movement is the power lead can plug into the screen mounted holder and not just the camera… daft of me to not see that sooner.

UPDATED 25/06/2022 - Sadly as time passes i am noticing my camera keeps freezing for no reason on odd occasions and i have to use the reset button, this is very annoying. Also, the g sensor even on low seems to make the camera save a recording every time i start the car, this eventually takes up space and fills the memory card. I might switch this off but then will mis out on it saving a recording that could catch damage to the car! Might be wise to leave that off.

Asking for a review but I haven't got the goods yet. Update: received the goods yesterday, all is fine.

thought I could shorten cable for rear window camera , bad idea , search the net for new cable some really silly prices then found nextbase parts and ordered a new cable for a good price , they delivered it really quickly and it works fine . really good service .

Gave 4 stars as when ordered I did not receive any email confirmation or any dispatch information so was a bit worried until ordered part arrived. Little more communication about orders please.
