Very Limited Options
Beware! Dinners are limited to one night and one time - no other options. They don't tell you this before you're pushed to purchase their trial membership. It cost me $20 to figure that out! Greater transparency would be appreciated.

Just to clarify upfront - we offer a 14-day trial period for exactly this reason. If someone signs up and it’s not for them, they can receive a full refund… which we processed in your case as well 🙂
You’re absolutely right! Until now, our dinners have mainly been on one set day/time. That said, we’re already expanding to more days of the week to offer greater flexibility, so this won’t be the case for long.

New people with similar, compatible experiences
Nice to Meet selects good restaurants that I am unfamiliar with and selects good company to enjoy the experience with. Typically, the restaurants are upscale with dishes I haven't seen before, so generally you should be prepared for new culinary experiences with new people. This is a great alternative to Netflix or the news.

Meet new friends!
This is an easy way to meet people with similar tastes and interests. They plan everything and it is great to just have to show up to have a good time. I have met several people that I connected with!

A great concept to meet new people
A great concept. You meet a group of strangers and by the end of dinner you are chatting like friends catching up. Everyone was very nice and open to discussion. I was skeptical at first, but I will certainly do this again.
My only critique would be that there was not a host or facilitator which made it awkward at the beginning with getting seated. Fortunately our group were all outgoing enough we rolled into conversation.

The concept is wonderful, and the people I've met so far have been interesting and engaging. I've also enjoyed the venues. The only complaint is parking, but NicetoMeet you can't control that.

It was nice to be in the company of…
It was nice to be in the company of people my age. The conversation was respectful, lively, fun. Thoroughly enjoyed it, the food was good.
What I would give only one star is the parking situation, due to the lack of free parking near the venue. Maybe try finding something that you don't have to pay for parking, that would be nice.

It was my first time to attend this kind of arrangement and it was exceptional. From meeting wonderful people and the choice of venue. My only request if possible, is if you could arrange a similar one in Birmingham as it near me.

This was my 3rd nice-to-meet-you dinner. The French restaurant L'Escargot in Greek Street was excellent. The staff were great, they did individual bills, no problem. The food was delicious. The table of people were relaxed and fun, and we all had a lovely evening. I came away enriched after sharing a lovely evening with people I would never have met if it weren't for Nice to Meet you. Thank you for organising it. I would highly recommend trying one of the nice-to-meet-you dinners.
I am looking forward to my next one, and if any men are thinking twice about coming to one of these dinners, please don't be shy, there are always more women than men. We need to meet some of you.
