Awful
Awful, truly awful, power outages happen all the time for no rhyme or reason, a quiet, supposedly first world region with calm predictable weather, flat terrain where the only obstacle for miles are trees and yet the power cuts constantly.
There are parts of rural Africa that have more stable power supplies than what "northern ireland electricity" is capable of delivering, so not only is electric ridiculously expensive but the infrastructure is a joke, one so bad that NIE have tried to absolve themselves of responsibility for the ONE task they exist for by saying they are not liable for any damaged electric equipment or spoiled food when, not if, when their pathetic infrastructure inevitably fails.
In the 18 or so months i've lived in this area I have had hundreds of pounds of food spoil and 3 different hard drives destroyed by power randomly cutting out in the middle of use. I would have a better experience and a more robust power supply if I hooked my house up to a gerbil in a wheel
