Ich habe das Gerät neun Monate getestet und leider verlief dies erfolglos. In dieser Zeit habe ich zweimal neue dioden gekauft und schlussendlich das Gerät über eBay Kleinanzeigen an den nächsten Hoffnungsträger verkauft. Die zahlreichen Bewertungen halte ich nicht für richtig.

Wirkt nicht, Geld zurück wird verwehrt
Ich habe den Helm ein halbes Jahr lang täglich verwendet, mit der Ausnahme von 5 Tagen.
Es hat sich gar nichts verbessert, im Gegenteil. Meine Haare sind extrem ausgefallen und total kahl geworden. Ich mag schon gar nicht mehr in den Spiegel schauen.
Seit Wochen bin ich mit dem Kundenservice am Schreiben wegen der Geld zurück Garantie.
Diese wird mir weiterhin verwehrt, obwohl die Bilder Bände sprechen.
Es werden plötzlich Fotos vom gesamten Verlauf verlangt, ohne dass die App aufgefordert hat welche zu machen und hochzuladen wie am Anfang.
Ich habe viele Fotos, jedoch kann ich diese alle nicht per Mail verschicken, da der Anhang zu groß ist.
Der Kundenservice verwehrt mir weiterhin mein Geld zurück und wir sprechen nicht von wenig Geld.
Auch im Discord Channel habe ich bei vielen gelesen, dass das Produkt nicht wirkt. Lasst die Finger davon !!

vielen Dank für dein Feedback. Es tut uns leid, dass du nach sechs Monaten regelmäßiger Anwendung keine sichtbare Verbesserung feststellen konntest und mit deiner Erfahrung mit niostem unzufrieden bist.
Wir haben deinen Fall und die bisherige Kommunikation mit unserem Kundenservice nochmals geprüft und möchten einige Punkte klarstellen.
Im Oktober 2025 hast du uns einige Vergleichsfotos zugesendet. Leider war die Dokumentation nicht vollständig, weshalb unser Kundenservice dich gebeten hat, die noch fehlenden Bilder über einen Google-Drive-Link bereitzustellen. Diese wurden uns jedoch nicht nachgereicht.
Die damalige 180-Tage-Geld-zurück-Garantie war an vorab festgelegte Nutzungs- und Fotodokumentationsbedingungen geknüpft. Da die erforderlichen Fotos trotz unserer Nachfrage nicht vollständig eingereicht wurden, konnten wir die Bewertung nicht ordnungsgemäß abschließen und mussten deinen Garantieantrag entsprechend den geltenden Bedingungen ablehnen.
Wichtig ist uns dabei die Klarstellung, dass die Ablehnung nicht aufgrund einer Bewertung deiner Haarentwicklung erfolgte, sondern ausschließlich wegen der unvollständigen Dokumentation.
Wir verstehen, dass diese Entscheidung enttäuschend ist. Gleichzeitig müssen wir die festgelegten Garantiebedingungen für alle Kunden einheitlich anwenden.

Enttäuschend: Garantieversprechen wird nicht eingehalten
Ich habe das Niostem-Gerät über 6 Monate lang konsequent täglich verwendet – genau so, wie es vom Hersteller empfohlen wird. Nach über 180 Tagen konnte ich keine sichtbare Verbesserung feststellen, weshalb ich die 180-Tage-Leistungsgarantie in Anspruch genommen habe, mit der Niostem wirbt.
Statt einer Rückerstattung erhielt ich eine standardisierte Absage. Die Begründung stützte sich auf interne Auswertungen und „Score“-Berechnungen, die für mich als Verbraucher nicht nachvollziehbar oder überprüfbar sind.
In den AGB oder Garantiebedingungen findet sich keine klare Definition, was als „Ergebnis“ gilt oder wie der Erfolg objektiv gemessen wird. Aus meiner Sicht ist das irreführend, da die Garantie suggeriert, man bekäme sein Geld zurück, wenn kein sichtbarer Erfolg eintritt – was bei mir der Fall war.
Ich habe Niostem nochmals schriftlich zur Rückzahlung aufgefordert, warte jedoch vergebens auf eine Antwort.
Transparente und überprüfbare Bedingungen wären hier dringend wünschenswert.
UPDATE 02/2026: Nach dem Veröffentlichen meiner Bewertung hat sich das Unternehmen plötzlich gemeldet und mir aus Kulanz eine Rückerstattung angeboten. Ich kann niostem dennoch nicht empfehlen, da die Garantiebestimmungen intransparent sind.

Unfassbar dreist!
Ich habe das Wearable letztes Jahr vorbestellt und Mitte März erhalten. Direkt los gelegt und fast alle 180 Tage durchgezogen. Passiert ist in den ersten 2 Monaten nichts. Gefolgt von über 3 Monaten vermehrtem Haaraufall. Zuerst dachte ich an das allseitsbekannte Shedding, aber der Haarausfall hörte nicht auf.
Geworben wurde mit "in 6 Monaten:
über 19% dichtere Haare= nicht erfüllt
8,8% dickere Haare= nicht erfüllt
100% Haarausfall stopp=nicht erfüllt, im Gegenteil
6 monatige Rückgabegarantie= nicht erfüllt
Dass das Gerät nicht hält, was es verspricht ist die eine Sache. Vielleicht kann es theoretisch etwas bewirken bei dem einen oder anderen(glaube ich aber nicht mehr dran). Was mich aber auf die Palme bringt ist, dass man einfach Seitens Niostem das Gegenteil behauptet und "man ja ein klares Haarwachstum erkennen könnte". Bitte was? Dann habe ich mir den vermehrten Haarausfall über 3 Monate wohl nur eingebildet? Selbst auf den Bildern ist deutlich erkennbar, dass sich meine Haarsituation verchlechtert hat, das sieht ein Blinder! Aber nein, es wird einfach das Gegenteil behauptet und schon könne man keine Garantie in Anspruch nehmen. Antworten bekommt man dann auch keine mehr. Ich wollte dem Ganzen wirklich eine Chance geben und hätte es wenigstens den Haarausfall gestoppt, wäre ich zufrieden gewesen. Leider ist es nichts anderes als die ganzen Fake-Haarmedikamente die man so auf die Timleline gespült bekommt. Aber das hier setzt dem Ganzen echt die Krone auf. Ist wohl ein Fall für den Anwalt, Watchlist und co. Die Mühe mache ich mir gerne.
Meine Empfehlung: Bloß die Finger weg.

The support actually worked very well. There was an unknown issue with the package and UPS send it back to the sender. Niostem immediately send it back to me and the second attempt worked very well.
I was kept in the loop about the status and the tracking numbers so all turned out well.
Product packaging is also great.

product showed up after 8 day UPS mishandling delay
Item delivered by UPS after approx 8 days delay after initially stating item could not be located and marked as LOST. Item turned up in North Carolina, which I believe was an attempt by UPS warehouse worker in Oakland, ca to steal item by shipping item to UPS warehouse accomplice in North Carolina. Shipping box was opened and Re-labeled. This SCAM is the subject of numerous TV news reports and investigations, wherein actual arrests of UPS warehouse employees were made, in different states.
Niostem never sent replacement and never refunded me the cost of the item, BUT as later developments indicate, it was NOT their FAULT.

Being a person who loves researching I have the Niostem headset. It connects to Niostem app via Bluetooth. The app has updated since I started about 8 months ago for the better.
To get better/faster connectivity the rubber electrodes should be stiff. Bought my unit used & had trouble—so I sent unit to Germany for repair (when it came back I noticed how stiff the rubber was & with my protocol of a few drops water then gel on each terminal —Connectivity is 100% in seconds..
This is low level micro current so you can’t hear it or feel it..
So does it work.. YES..New regrowth & hair shafts actually getting thicker & more pigmented. The device sits on top of the head.. So those hairs are targeted.. I have some weak receding hairs on sides so a future design might help that. But YES! it does work . I’m up to day 260.. & I used device while laying in bed with no straps..
This is only device (I know of) which makes new hair stem cells which make new hair follicles..
Remember DHT primarily is destroying hair growth & to counter that males in particular have to restimulate the hair to grow.. There are several ways to do this.. This device is another plus for that journey.

Ich benutze das Gerät seit knapp über 1 Jahr...
... und erkenne bisher leider nur leichte Verbesserungen bei mir, ABER sie sind zumindest da (wahrscheinlich je nach "Haartyp und Glatzenbildung" verschieden).
Deswegen werde ich die Benutzung von NIOSTEM weiterhin durchziehen, in der Hoffnung es wird noch (viel) besser.
Was ich aber bestätigen kann ist ein schneller, sehr freundlicher und zuverlässiger Service von NIOSTEM bei Fragen und vor allem bei Hardware-Problemen, da ich mein Gerät einschicken musste, und es in schnellstmöglichster Zeit repariert und KOSTENLOS zurück bekam.
Es scheint mir sogar ein ganz neues Gerät im Austausch zu sein (da neu gestaltete Aufbewahrungsbox und neue Elektroden, irgendwie anders ?!).

8 months - no visual cosmetic results
I have worn my Niostem daily for 8 months and have no cosmetic change whatsoever. Stuck to it daily with a few occasional days missed on holiday etc.
I wanted this tech to work as I want to support other entrepreneurs and this would be a game changer for millions of balding men.
But a product needs to work and deliver on its promises. It did not for me. Maybe because I am a norwood 5-6 or maybe because it is a fluke. I at least have lost trust and belief.
My plan was to stick to it for 6 to 12 months to see if there was any change and I can see none, and also their research does not show any data suggesting improved results over time, even if this is Mane Biotechs projection.
Also the device is uncomfortable, and leaves deep marks from the electrodes for 30+ minutes after a session. It is better with the electrode gel as it has a mild and cooling effect. However it does require you to form a habit. 30 minutes a day may sound easy, and it is if you begin the day with it everyday, but it is actually harder when you are not in routine (weekends and social life etc). Also the habit of having to think about and «hope» to start seeing hairs sprout again is for me exhausting and time consuming. I have better and more important things to think about vs the «fear of loss» in case I miss a session.
I have been active in their discord community and also see that most people who get results often combine it with many other treatments like finasteride and dutasteride. Hence I question the validity of many results.
Dont like to leave a bad review. This was a binary question for me - does it work, yes or no. It didn’t for me so I can’t recommend it- at least to others who have norwood 5+ and to be fair, Niostem does not recommend it for late stage hair loss.
The product is good quality and nicely designed, so I added 1 star for that.
