We were able to understand the history and culture of Japan as we do the tour with Bilal. He was able to assist us all throughout the travel. He was able to bring us to different locations and experience a traditional Japanese cuisine.

Super Organisation, Bilal und sein Team sind voll auf unsere Wünsche und Ideen zu den Touren eingegangen. In der Vorbereitung gab es einen Videocall zur Abstimmung der Tourplanung. Vor Ort in Kobe wurden wir hervorragenden von Tim betreut. Ob Kobe-Beef Essen, eine Bartour oder eine Tagestour zu Fuß um Land und Leute kennenzulernen, alles war perfekt. Vielen herzlichen Dank. Los pasamos muy bien con el guía en Tokio. Aunque nos encanta explorar ciudades a pie, es muy difícil saber dónde son los lugares mejores a explorar. Pero con el guía, pudimos experienciar lo mejor que tiene Tokio con datos fascinates históricos mientras caminamos. La transición a un país nuevo se hizo mucho más fácil con un guía que podía hablar nuestra lengua y que podía traducir cuando era necesario. Me puedo irme a casa sabiendo que e tuvido la mejor experiencia possible y se exactamente las partes de Tokio que voy a explorar más la próxima vez que visite. No les puedo recomendar más!

We had a great time with the guide in Tokyo. While we love to explore cities by foot, it is often so hard to figure out the best places to walk. With the guide, we got a sampler of all the best Tokyo had to offer and got some fascinating historical tidbits as we went. It was immensely helpful to have a guide that could speak in our native language as well as act as a translator and intermediary when needed. He made the transition to a new country as easy as can be. I can leave Tokyo knowing I had the best experience possible and I know exactly where I want to explore further when I come back! Would highly recommend to anyone new to the city.

Tuvimos la suerte de hacer un tour de dos días por Tokio y alrededores con un guía espectacular. Fue súper amable desde el principio, y se notaba que sabía muchísimo sobre la historia y cultura de Japón. Además, compartió un montón de datos curiosos y anécdotas que hicieron el recorrido muy entretenido.

Lo mejor de todo es que habla varios idiomas (inglés, español, catalán y japonés), así que todo fue muy fácil de entender y seguir. Gracias a él pudimos ver muchísimo más de lo que habríamos visto por nuestra cuenta, ¡y sin agobios!

En resumen, una experiencia 100% recomendable. Si vas a Tokio, no lo dudes: este guía es la mejor opción.

An Incredible Experience in Tokyo with a Great Guide!

We were lucky to do a two-day tour around Tokyo and nearby areas with an amazing guide. He was super friendly from the start, and it was clear that he knew a lot about the history and culture of Japan. He also shared tons of fun facts and stories that made the tour really entertaining.

The best part is that he speaks several languages (English, Spanish, Catalan, and Japanese), so everything was easy to understand and follow. Thanks to him, we got to see way more than we would have on our own — and without the stress!

In short, a 100% recommended experience. If you’re going to Tokyo, don’t hesitate: this guide is the best choice.

Pongo una estrella porque no puedo poner cero. El peor guía con el que me he topado y viajo mucho. No os arriesguéis si vais a Japón, el viaje merece la pena hacerlo con guías que os lo hagan disfrutar y que sepan de que están hablando

La experiencia con Billial de Niponea, fue inmejorable, gracias a el he pasado unos días en Japon fantásticos y enterándome de sus costumbres, comidas, etc, visitando lugares que ni imaginaba y con un trato exquisito y preocupándose en todo momento por nosotros en TODO, lo que otros habían hecho mal.

Mal planificado, nos quedamos sin ver los castillos por dentro porque nos dijo que estaban vacios y mirando por internet vi que estaban llenos de historia japonesa, paramos a comer en un area de servicio y a los 15 minutos de reloj tuvimos que volver a parar para que comiera el conductor, estuvimos una mañana 45 minutos esperando al autobus porque se habia contratadoa otra hora, nos quedamos sin comer en una excursion por su organizacion, nos dijo que no llegabamos a a ver un castillo porque dos personas del grupo llegaron tarde y mirando por internet vi que el castillo seguia abierto durante 2 horas mas, no lo volveria a repetir

Un guia horrible, en ningun momento se preocupo por la gente del grupo, solo por los de su eleccion y su conocimiento sobre japon en mi opinion dudoso, no os lo recomiendo

Pésimo guía, no tiene nada de educación, le preguntabas y pasaba de ti y se hacía el loco y no te lo explicaba , tampoco esperaba al resto del grupo , no tiene ni idea de explicar todas las cosas de Japón, por supuesto que no volvería con este guía por que e voy de Japón sin saber nada

No se puede esperar más de lo recibido.

El viaje con este guía fue una tortura de malas contestaciones , desprecios y boicot hacia la empresa que le pagaba , para así, vender más sus tours privados

Getting to know Japan with Billy has been a great experience, the knowledge he has of the country's history, its cities and its streets. It's amazing that someone who is not Japanese knows this great country so well. In addition, he tells stories, anecdotes, a great guide, the best I have ever had.

Niponea can highly recommend by a friend, so we contacted them to work-out a little Japan tour for our family of four with two teenagers.

In the planning stage, we were asked about what we wanted to see and how much time we would have. We wanted to spend a good ten days in Japan and see Osaka/Kobe, Kyoto, and Tokyo. We also wanted to have a mix of guided tour experience and some time on our own. After a couple of iterations, we were handed a plan that we really liked and that was shaped so well based on our preferences, but with the full experience, insights, and knowledge of Niponea. It was a plan that was uniquely customized for our family.

After landing in Osaka, we experienced the full 'worry-free' experience. While we opted to do without a guide, all transfers went absolutely smooth and we had periodic 'check-ins' by Niponea staff for them to make sure everything went well.

For our stay in Kyoto we had organized for half and half with and without a guide. Our guide in Kyoto as originally from Europe, but had lived in Japan for quite a while and as fluent in Japanese and very knowledgeable about Japanase history and culture. The way he enganged and interacted with us, we learned a lot - but had even more fun as he had a very good way to bring things across. He also guided us to many hidden spots and treasures you would never find in any tourist guide.

In Tokyo, we even received the honor of being guided by the owner of the company; and also he is originally from Europe and now living in Japan. Exploring and discovering Tokyo as well as a bit the countryside around Mount Fuji was a great and vey fulfilling experience. Never tired to answer our kids' questions and being flexible to adjust the schedule according to spontaneous ideas and desires, he was able to induce some of the love he has for his host country also into us.

We're still dwelling on the great experience and are looking at coming to Japan again.

If I could give a 10/5, I would. Absolutely phenomenal. Flying in from New York, had the pleasure of booking with Niponea Tours on an adventure through Tokyo and Kamakura, and truly had the tour of a life.

Billy was extremely kind and learned on the various sites, offering his personal insights based on his time in Tokyo, as well as his intimate knowledge of the associated history. In addition, Billy also had an infectious personality, always keeping my colleagues and I entertained while giving us additional advice for our stay outside of the tour, above and beyond what we had expected.

Beautiful sights, and very insightful, I'll be sure to visit again for another amazing experience.

Would like to highlight the walking tours through the various neighborhoods in Tokyo, as well as Kōtoku-in which was even better in person!
