Ordered 12/12/24 for collection same…

Ordered 12/12/24 for collection same day at 11.30am. Confirmation states 'We will notify you when ready for collection'. No notification received on that day. Next day still no notification received so went to branch that I opted for and received a apology and was paid 600 euro's in 4x50's 25x10's 30x5's and another apology for mostly small denomination notes. I will not use your services again, that's a promise. Crap service. Did receive notification after I had already collected. Repeat, Crap service.

Great!

Second time I've used NM money. This time they had a better rate than Eurochange, and yet I was still able to collect it from my local Eurochange branch. It only took 24 hrs or so to prepare. Very handy and appreciated.

Trustworthy

I have just used NM travel money for the first time. Money arrived on time. What you pay for is what you get, no charges and free delivery over a certain amount. Excellent!!. Would definitely use them again. Company I usually use charge you, these don't.

Money never arrived

Ordered my travel money on Thursday for guaranteed delivery on Saturday. It's now Wednesday and still nothing. I called their office to find out what is going on. I get plenty of apologies - but they are completely unwilling to follow up with the courier to try and get an update on my missing money. And they told me that they have had several people with the same problem, but even this does not warrant them making contact with their courier about the problem in a timely fashion. And worse still, it can apparently take up to 30 days to be refunded. So, I'm left with needing to source another lot of travel money at short notice and a company that is entirely unwilling to help. In a business that is so clearly time critical I would strongly advise people to use another provider. I will update this review if things change and they do decide to offer help beyond "nothing we can do, sorry".
UPDATE: In fairness they were surprisingly quick at arranging the refund (though not before I left for my holiday and had to source a second batch of foreign exchange), so I'm going to add 2 extra stars for the good after care from the company - credit where it's due.

Ordered euros that never came

Ordered euros, they sent it by royal mail and it's now missing in transit. Probably stolen. But the return policy takes about 75 days as they need to claim it from Royal mail first so I'm currently £500 down for my holiday. Thanks for absolutely nothing. Never again.

Ordered money yesterday and it arrived…

Ordered money yesterday and it arrived by post today and the notes were in quite small denominations, which was great as I had to share the currency out between 4 people .First class service, what's not to like?

I ordered the money exchange on the 10/03/2023

I ordered the money exchange on the Friday to be delivered on the Tuesday(as the website blog advertised next day delivery) I waited in all day for its delivery but it never arrived. I emailed the company several times from that afternoon it was scheduled for delivery and left more messages on their live chat service but no communication came from them. The telephone number advertised on the company info is a premium rate number and I cannot access that number on my phone package. I was so worried that I had been scammed as the company is so bad at giving any updates or assurances that I was going to call the police about them being fraudsters, so I would never use them again or advice anyone else to trust their dates for delivery. No reasons for the delay or even an apology came so I’m going back to the other company, I used before

I ordered 4100 Turkish lire pick up the already sealed money pouch on getting home and thrown away the packaging found that it was £4.29 short the 100 lire was missing.

Have to say - Great Staff @ Uxbridge Branch

Have to say, Euro Exchange or NM exchange in the shopping centre, too many branches, little shoutout to Harry & Thanvisri was super helpful, advised the best rates, and also had knowledge on buying back my euros. Felt at ease - I was personally in a rush as well.

Worst customer service ever

The staff in the Merrion Centre Leeds were very rude. We ordered Euros and asked for denominations of 10 and 20 euro notes. They took payment from our bank but instead of counting the euro purchase out to us they instead gave us a sealed envelope. We opened the envelope up in front of them and it contained old 2002 50 euro notes and 1 euro coins??? They then told us we should change the notes to our requested denominations elsewhere.

We're sorry to hear of your experience whilst visiting our Leeds Merrion branch, this is not what we would expect from our Sales Advisors.

We pre-pack our pay & collect orders to allow customers to collect their currency in a matter of minutes, if you would like us to open and count to you we should count your currency.

The notes supplied are still in circulation and can be used, however, we would have expected the Sales Advisor to change this on your request. We should not have asked you to change elsewhere we should have just done this for you, notes permitting.

We do supply 1 and 2 euro coins as many people find that these are incredibly useful for toll's, vending machines, etc.

We would advise that if you do require certain denominations, to contact our Customer Support team prior to collection so we may have this arranged for you.

Reliable Service

I have used NM Money a few times now and have always be pleased with their service.
They don't offer the best market exchange rate, but they are close and this I accept for their reliable service.
I ordered several different currencies all of which they had in stock and delivered on the day I requested.

Poor service, antiquated + ineffective identification processes and overall not great to deal with.
It felt like I was dealing with an exchange from the 90's...

I placed my order over the weekend and…

I placed my order over the weekend and was assured Tuesdsy delivery, ended up looking like it would be Thursday - thankfully Wednesday on the end. More Royal Mail than NM though
