NOCO Women in Business Avis 23

I loved meeting new business women in a beautiful business. Hearing the stories of the hosts and the attendees made me immediately feel welcomed and part of the group even though it was my first meeting. I will be back!

NOCO Women in Business is an incredible group of authentic and passionate individuals who connect beyond surface networking, but as support systems to help grow personally and professionally.
I always feel energized and positive when I leave the events.

I’m a little biased, but Candice Redman really delivered on her message for all women. The decorations were inspiring and so cute. The food was so yummy, and the vendors were amazingly congenial and diverse. We had so much fun!!!

The women were very welcoming and great to chat with. I feel like I could fit into this group as I am newer to the area and have been trying to find good networking opportunities.

Really could have been a great event, but a $75 ticket for soggy chicken salad served from plastic serving containers??? It seemed like all the money from ticket sales went to videography, for each of the 4 women who spoke, as they danced their ways to the front of the room. THEN SHUT DOWN THE BAR while they were speaking (prob because the venue was a dump and any bar noise would have made it difficult to hear them speaking, which wouldn’t have been a bad thing). The final speaker, after 30 full minutes of the other divas speaking, tried to make a cute little drinking game out of her time speaking, encouraging everyone to ‘take a sip’ every time she said ‘community’.
Well, honey, the bar had been closed, without any notice or heads up before they ordered us to sit down and listen, so NO ONE had a drink to toast.
I even attempted to purchase a drink from the bar TWICE and was rudely turned away. I allowed the speaker to finish before I left, hungry, really put off by the whole ‘keeping up with the Jones’ energy of the whole affair, and I’ll prob never attend another event.

I had a blast. Felt very welcomed

I absolutely love being apart of NoCo women in business! Not only have I found lots of business connections but true friendships! It has been such a blessing in my life!

The genuine care from those that are directly a part of the event as well as the women attending! Great information, friendly and supportive questions and conversation.

The best Business networking group ever! Members and guests are made to feel seen and heard and showcased whenever possible.

All of the women I have met have been so genuine and welcoming! Sarah is such a gem. She puts together amazing events. Highly recommend joining this magical group of ladies!

NOCO Women in business is such an amazing organization providing women from various walks of life a venue to meet other like minded women. Personally, it has given me the opportunity to connect with women working to grow not just their business, but to also increase their circle of friends. as well.
