I would not recommend this shop at all
I would not recommend this shop at all. I purchased an order which went through but I never received an order confirmation and had to write to receive it. Moreover, the package was never delivered and when I followed up I was told the courier could not find the address. I confirmed it and never received the package. I then requested to get my money back and got no response.

Missing Order Confirmation:
We deeply regret any inconvenience you faced due to not receiving your order confirmation promptly. Our automated email system is designed to seamlessly send out order confirmations, invoices, and tracking information. However, we acknowledge that there might be instances where these emails inadvertently end up in spam folders or are not received due to certain email settings. We understand how frustrating this can be and are actively working to improve our email communication processes.
Delivery Address:
As per the information we gathered from FedEx, there were challenges in the delivery process due to a faulty delivery address. FedEx attempted multiple deliveries, but they were unable to proceed due to the issues with the address provided. They also attempted to contact you for further guidance, but unfortunately, were unable to reach you. We recommended that you engage with the local FedEx office to rectify the address issue to ensure a successful delivery of the package.
Email Correspondence:
While you referred to an email sent in September 2022 regarding a refund request, we regret to inform you that we were unable to locate such correspondence within our records.
Refund Request:
As discussed in our recent email correspondence, we understand your disappointment in not receiving the package. However, we are unable to provide a refund due to the following reasons:
* The incident occurred over a year ago, and the reasonable time frame for reporting a missing package has since expired as per our Terms & Conditions.
* FedEx's records indicate that they attempted to deliver the package, but were hindered by the incorrect delivery address. Despite their efforts to contact you via email and phone, they were unable to reach you.
* We recommended that you communicate with the local FedEx office to address the address issue and ensure successful delivery.
If you have any additional concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team again.

Stay away from this fraudlent company
Not even worth a star. Ordered some goods end of November to receive in Uk but when I did not receive them I chased on track and trace. Turn out they have been delivered to a wrong address. Emailed customer services and my mail was reponded by a guy called Casper N. who is not only rude and abrupt but also has no idea how to deal with customers. He simply putting blame on me for providing wrong address when my address was fully complete. The address the goods were delivered to is not remotely similar to my address, but nordic expat refuse to take the responsibility.

As informed in our email correspondence, a case with FedEx has been started and we are trying to find a solution for this issue.
We did however, also highlight that it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that the information added to an order is correct. Unfortunately, the delivery address information you had added to your order was in-complete, which you also have confirmed per email.
There have been no intention, in anyway to come off as rude or abrupt in the email correspondence. Merely stating that the accuracy of the information added to an order is the customer’s responsibility to make sure it is 100% correct. This is also described in our Terms & Conditions.
No scam, you demanded a refunded for an error you - yourself are responsible for. We therefore had to decline the demand of a refund, while the case with FedEx is ongoing.
We do not condone any type of scamming. We do however, believe it is reasonable that it is the customer’s own responsibility to ensure the delivery address is correct. Our systems have no earthly chance to know your address information is correct or in-correct neither can the FedEx systems.

Ordered the 16th and the package came the 21st. So well packed. All the items was VERY fresh. The shipping company was GREAT too. Kept me updated every step of the process. I can't say enough nice compliments.

The worst packing EVER....!!!!!!!!!
I'm very sorry that I have to write this review and only give 2 stars - the 2 stars is for quick delivery and for having the product I was looking for!......the missing stars is for packing my product incorrectly and now I can throw out everything!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought cheese through nordic expat and was very excited that they had what I was looking for - my order was just delivered and my cheese has been underway for ONLY 3 days, BUT WITHOUT COOLING ELEMENTS! - WHO SHIPPES DAIRY PRODUCTS WITHOUT COOLING ELEMENTS!.....:(
Just include cooling elements in you check out, just like you calculate shipping....just include freezer packs with the shipment that includes product that needs to be cooled and include the charge in the check out!
A total waste :(

We do, however, offer cool elements, cool boxes and cool bags. These items are an add-on, which actively has to be added to an order. These items are shown at the relevant products, products pages and in the cart, where they are to be added before the checkout process begins. You choose not to add cool elements to your order, which we do not recommend.
There are several disclaimers throughout our site explaining our service in regards to orders containing cool products. E.g. there is an active choice pop-up shown when the mentioned products are added to your cart, which has to be accepted before the mentioned products can be added to the cart.

My first order from then and I'm very happy.
Took 2 days from Denmark to Norway, fast and good service.
Now I can again enjoy food I remember from my childhood when visiting my grandparents in Denmark which has been sorely missed.

Great customer service
Great customer service, fast shipping. I used FedEx for my first order and it got caught up i customs. I used DHL for the next with no problems even though both orders contained torskerogn. Could have just been a random customs check, but I will use DHL from now on. The products are always packed very carefully and have always arrived with no breakage. So nice having authentic Danish products delivered to my door!

Hurtig ekspedition og god service
Dette var første gang jeg købte varer hos Nordic Expat men det er ikke sidste gang. Jeg har aldrig før fået så fin service, hurtigt ekspedition og forsendelse. Kassen kom til den estimerede tid og alt i kassen var ok. Jeg kunne følge kassen hver dag, idet jeg fik mail fra DHL om hvor langt forsendelsen var

I have used Nordic Expat for about a year and they have impressed me with every order. Their customer service is by far the best I have ever experienced. Answers and concerns are answered and solved pretty much immediately, Last order I got sooo fast. I ordered from Virginia Monday evening, had my full order Thursday afternoon. Using DHL as carrier made it an even better experience, FedEX less so, they are not helpful. DHL was recommended by a rep. for Nordic recommended that as being better and it is, a whole lot better. I am so happy with Nordic Expat, when you can't go home to shop, they are a lifesaver!!!!!

Phenomenal!
I have nothing but excellent things to say about this place. They are so quick, accurate and incredibly kind and professional. They will go out of their way to get you the best products and service. Their selection is vast and exactly what a Dane needs sitting abroad dreaming of yummy Danish food. Hopefully soon, you guys will be able to ship items that needs ice.
I highly recommend these guys and encourage people to use them. I'm in the States and the best carrier is definitely DHL.
