I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent employment experience at AAA Northeast. I was recently terminated from my position due to what I believe was a misrepresentation of my performance related to "call avoidance," a claim I strongly dispute.
Beyond the circumstances of my termination, I have serious concerns about the overall work environment and employment practices at AAA Northeast. Specifically:
Management Concerns: I found the management style to be deeply problematic. My direct supervisor, Ashley Forest, demonstrated a lack of support and professional conduct.
HR Issues: My interaction with HR partner Jackie Lima was particularly troubling. Upon termination, I was presented with a demand to repay vacation time, despite my belief that I had accrued sufficient time to cover my absence. This resulted in a significant deduction from my final paycheck. Furthermore, sick time that I understood was being used was not properly accounted for, leading to further financial discrepancies.
Potential for Disparate Treatment: I witnessed and experienced what I perceive to be instances of disparate treatment that raise concerns about fairness and equity within the workplace. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential employees to thoroughly research AAA Northeast's employment practices before accepting a position. I believe there are significant issues within the organization that need to be addressed to ensure a fair and equitable work environment.
