Steeped in Hebridean history, but always forward thinking, our family run distillery in the Outer Hebrides produces some of Scotland’s very finest artisan spirits including the multi award winning Downpour Gin range and our soon to launch Nunton Whisky.

Say hello to Downpour Scottish Dry Gin. Citrus, spice and blossoms of wild Hebridean heather. Our special Scottish Gin is bursting with botanicals, drenching you in big bold flavours you can taste in every drop. Also available in Pink Grapefruit and Sloe and Bramble editions, in our custom designed, environmentally friendly bottle.
Nunton Steadings
Built way back in the 1700s, the beautifully historic Nunton Steadings building is the place we call home. Situated in Benbecula, right at the heart of island life, it’s where we proudly bring Whisky production back to our islands. Currently under restorations work, our B-listed building is undergoing some loving attention to bring it back to bustling island life.

I usually drink Harris gin. Not now! This is the best gin I have ever tasted.

5 star tour
Went for a tasting tour on Monday 3rd June , excellent tour with informative guide . Gins were great and allowed to bring our dog with us and he was made very welcome as they also had some treats waiting for him . Highly recommended tour if you are on the Uists.

Not quite the same as a distillery visit, but still great!
Having missed visiting the distillery when riding the Hebridean Way and staying just across the road, a friend recommended ordering online. The website was easy to use - I knew what I wanted and it was easy to find it. Will inevitably be back to order again...

My New Favorite
My taste buds are not the greatest and most gins are just gin. Until I tasted Downpour, Well, it just tasted wonderful and I felt myself savoring each mouthful.Although a little more expensive, well worth the extra.
