Charged my card for 2 months without me noticing because apparently when you buy something you automatically signup for a $12.74 a month membership. Do not buy anything from this site unless you wanna be charged $12.74 without you realizing it. I gladly was able to cancel it but not before they charged me the second time and I wasn't able to get a refund. So if you have ever bought anything from this site make sure you are not being charged monthly. Also, they should make it a lot clearer that there is a monthly charge; it's hidden in the terms of service absolute scum!

TOTAL SCAM-I purchased one product and they falsely claim I signed up for a subscription service and has been charging me for months. When I contacted them they wouldn't even tell me their first name because clearly they are doing shady work. They are robbing people and its disgusting.

I ordered 2 UVC wands during the pandemic and they sign you up for a $12 per month membership by allowing your order to go through as priority. It's at the bottom in small print so you don't notice it. They hide who they are on your credit card with a long code number so it's hard to identify who they are. Rip offs! Don't use them!! Buy somewhere else.

I agree with everything everyone has written. Do not use this company. They charged me for something I don’t even know what it was and they never sent a receipt and have no record of it on their end. Then to top it off I was charged bi-monthly for some subscription they assigned me to. They are flat out deceitful crooks!!

I just noticed as of today that this company has been charging me monthly for a "membership" on my business account for something that was listed on their site as a one time charge made during the only order I've ever placed with them. They cancelled this "membership" but refused to refund the unauthorized charges despite the deceptive advertising. Not to mention the one and only product I did order from them was not of very good quality and I found better higher quality replacement from walmart.

I would highly advise that you not do business with this company. Luckily since it was for my business I can easily write off the fees. But give them your business at your own risks.

Beware, this is a scam company. When you order something, they automatically subscribe you for a $16.00 CAD service that provides you little or no benefits.

I purchased 3 units of ultraviolet germ killing light scanners.
I opened 1 and realized it was a cheap made chinese piece of JUNK that would not turn on every time you wanted to use it.
I RETURNED the UN opened 2 units at MY EXPENSE.
1St. They tried to claim that they didn't get it...Only I had a varified delivery receipt.
Then they said it would take them 2 to 3 weeks to process...
Then they finally refunded ONLY 75% of the price of 1 unit...and a month later REVERSED THE CHANGE!?
And got PayPal to charge me for ALL 3 UNITS.
**DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THOSE CROOKS**

I ordered two uv-c wands and received them. All was well. Then sometime later I noticed O&H was billing my credit card $12.74 every few weeks. I contacted the company and was told that I had elected "priority service" which was supposed to mean faster delivery, but which according to O&H gave them the right to charge my credit card for what they called "special access and reduced pricing" of their products. I had no intention of ever ordering from them again, and had I known about it, the info was probably buried somewhere in fine print, I would never have spent money for something as non-tangible as "access." When I contacted O&H, they refused to refund my 3 payments. They did cancel their so-called service. I turned the matter over to my credit card company. I was told by the fraud department that they see scams like this all the time. Beware O&H.

This is a scam site. I ordered from them once and for several months they have been charging my credit card monthly. Apparently ordering means you sign up for membership that is a monthly fee. This is even after I have chat transcript cancelling that membership. So I continue to dispute the charges each month.

I too fell for their scam and ordered two UV-C lights from them early in the pandemic. I paid for expedited shipping but still waited over 8 weeks for the products to arrive. In several email exchanged, I was assured that it was a postal-related issue. Because I purchased these items during a promotion, I was not entitled to a refund or a return. On the day I called my credit card company to report this as a fraud, I received the two units. By the way, they do NOT WORK AT ALL. I was also enrolled in a monthly premium buyers club which I do not recall agreeing to and had to fight them to cancel this memebrship and refund my "monthly fee". STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!! You were warned.

worst company I have ever dealt with. Wands were such poor quality I returned them the next day and now they refuse to credit my charge card. I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. I ordered them in May and I'm still trying to deal with this. Stay away from this company. They are thieves. If there was a lower response, I would use it.

RUN away from this company. Products don't work and some how I was enrolled in a membership club that I didn't catch for 6 months! What is happening with this awful company?!?

I have had similar issues with oak and hearth as some of these other reviews. I tried to write a review on their own website but of course they won’t post it. I ordered sanitizing wandS and upon receiving them I set them aside because I didn’t really need them until this upcoming school year. I received them in June. Now it is August and I pulled them out and took a look at them and they’re such poor quality and they were $70 each! I recently ordered a fourth one for $20 from another company and it is the exact same thing! These are completely overpriced so do not buy them from Oak and heartH. To make it worse they will not issue a refund after 30 days -they would not even issue a store credit! That’s just bad customer service. Most places will at least give you a store credit if you’re over 60 or 90 days. But a 30 day return policy is ridiculous. They claim that it’s on the receipt, but it is not. It’s only available when you click on refund policy to a separate link. So I tried to write a review about the wands being overpriced and they won’t post it. They are only posting their five star reviews for the product. I feel like this company is shady. The other thing is I wanted to call my credit card company to dispute the charge and I couldn’t even find my credit card information on the receipt. They had some third-party name listed as my credit card and when I asked The representative about it she also could not tell me which credit card I used to pay for this. So I had to go back through all my bills and find it. Now I’m planning to call the Credit card company to dispute these charges. I feel that I should have a right to return an item that is not a good value.

Clearly from the other reviews, I am not the only one who missed the inconspicuous disclaimer that I was signing up for a $12.74 per month "membership". That in itself was irritating but what was worse was that O&H was unwilling to refund the 2 $12.74 transactions that they had already charged me. I even told "Courtney" I would be writing a review. I guess O&H is not too concerned about making things right AFTER they have your money! I will certainly NOT be a repeat customer.

Scam artists! I was lucky to receive the UV lights I ordered and they worked, BUT I just got my credit card statement for the next month and there was another charge from them for $12.74. I called the company. I was told it's a recurring monthly"membership fee" that I had NEVER signed up for. They claimed it was part of the $1 expedited shipping fee! There was NO MENTION ANYWHERE on the page of any membership monthly fee. They refused to refund this and ALSO had just charged for the next month. I am disputing this with my credit card company, but that required cancellation of my card. WHAT a PAIN. SUCH A DISHONEST COMPANY!

I would never order from this company again. A charge appeared on charge card for a monthly re-occurring charge that I did not know about. Read the very very fine print. You think you are getting expedited shipping and it is a monthly charge! What scam artists! The sanitizing wands are not much better that the company. I will never deal with them again. This was for our church and they clearly took advantage of us. They would not reverse the re-occurring charge. Never again!

SCAM COMPANY. DON'T BUY FROM HERE. They sent me a product that did not work and would not issue me a refund. The address they provided for me to return the product doesn't exist on Google. Hmmm...

SCAM! Ordered VeriClean wand they advertised for $80. Got a $30 knock and was told I would have to pay shipping to return. Disputed the charge because I’m certain I won’t get a refund from these criminals!

Terrible customer service - Don’t order a thing from this company!! Ordered 3 uv wands for my business Over 260.00 and after waiting for a month and a half I contacted them because I had not received my order- After a week went by they finally sent a response saying that USPS said it was delivered - I again responded back asking who signed for the delivery because I had not received anything at my home. I then asked to either resend my order or refund my $$$. I never received another response from this company. So now I have to make a credit card fraud request with my credit card company!! Do Not I repeat Do Not purchase anything from this company
