Holiday dates change

We changed our holiday and good few times due to several personal circumstances and we had a lovely lady Katieann Tracey who dealt with ALL our questions. Nothing was toouch trouble. What a star. A great employee to keep in the business

Terible company

Terible company
Didn’t even refund my money they kept it when the hotel gave a nights money back which had to go through them . So they stole the hotels money !!!
Nothing like the agents discription
Dirty tired , old apartment
For the price paid I expected a clean modern up to date accommodation !
Not value for money as went on line and if we would had booked ourselves would have saved at least £3000 !
Obviously complained , ignored us the whole holiday
There wasn’t an agent in the hotel too !!!
Very very disappointing

Avoid at all costs!!

This villa was booked for us via a travel agent, in the garage theres a random loose wire above the light switch that gives you a nice little electric shock when you touch it. Theres black mould on the ceiling by the vents which have so much built up dust its ridiculous. Theres a proper coffee machine but no pod type Keurig machine like in most places. The welcome pack provides tea bags but no kettle. The towels provided are no bigger than postage stamps so need to provide your own for showering and bathing. Black mould spot stains on the sheets. Hair dryer provided has a broken pin and does not work. Hasnt had a proper clean for a good few years, dust and dirt all in the skirting board. The smoke alarm started running out of battery during the night so I phoned the emergency out of hours number numerous times, no one answered. Spoke to customer relations during office hours via phone and whats app, no apology not even one!! Surely these smoke alarms should be replaced periodically not waiting until batteries run out? We used the phone number they provided on our reservation but apparently theres a different number we should have phoned which isnt on any of our paperwork or emails. Lost a day at the theme parks because we're just too tired and now need to wait home for maintenance to change smoke alarm batteries!

Poor customer service

I booked our family holiday to Florida (Disney world) with Neil from ocean holidays. We had never been to Disney before so I wanted it to be very special and At the time of booking Neil was fantastic. He gave me loads of different quotes and different options of hotels/flights & dates to work with to bring my holiday to a resonable budget. I then decided to book and payed my holiday off within the time frame ocean holidays gave me.

Unfortunately from that point onwards all customer service stopped. I was told by Neil that he would call me 6 weeks before we are due to travel as I had Disney dining booked with my holiday package and I needed to get all my meals booked for any good restaurants we wanted to eat at. So Neil advised me to have a look at some over the next few months and he will talk me through it all on the Disney app and help navigate me, but this could all only be done 6 weeks before we flew.

Well 6-8 weeks before departure I received an appointment email from Neil with a date/time he would call me. That day then arrives and there’s no call from Neil. I then left it a couple of days and the weekend was approaching but at this point I was in limbo as what to do.

I then called ocean holidays at a later date and told them I was struggling with my bookings and Neil hadn’t called me to help me through the process. I informed them that Neil made an appointment but there was no call to which they replied Neil was on holiday that week and that is why I didn’t receive his call.

Now, excuse me if I’m incorrect but usually you wouldn’t book in any telephone appointments for the week your not working and if your appointments where booked from months back before you book time off work then I’d assume you would either reschedule or make sure your colleagues can help with your diary while your off work, this wasn’t the case.

So after the lack of help and assistance from ocean holidays, I wasn’t able to book my restaurants I wanted as they were all fully booked up already.

I was also told that I would receive a call 2/3 days before departure just to check everything was fine and run through things but guess what? No call from ocean holidays.

Luckily we arrived in Florida safely and we all had a fantastic holiday without any help or advice from ocean holidays, not even a call after we returned to ask how our trip was.

I can honestly say Neil sold us the dream and once he sold it he couldn’t care less anymore

I wouldn’t use this company again and I hope my review helps others.

We booked a 2 week holiday to Orlando…

We booked a 2 week holiday to Orlando staying in a villa. We paid extra to upgrade villa. Unfortunately the villa was not up to a standard we paid for & expected. Cooker ring blew up, ice dispenser chocked with solid ice. Curtain rail snapped twice, vertical blinds fell down. Some of these complaints were resolved whilst we were there but curtains/ blinds could not be drawn!
However, the villa sleeps 8, there was 6 of us…. Only 4 pool towels provided ( I was advised to go & buy 2!!) absolutely not!!
4 outdoor chairs around small table? Where are the other guests supposed to sit?? These chairs & the 2 sunbeds were worn & dirty!! Seen better days.
Algae around tiles in pool.
Air con not up to much. Hair drier pat tested in 2019.. 6 years ago!!
Screws on walls in bedroom where pictures once hung.
Games room was the garage with wonky pool table.
Showers dated.
All in all this villa needs updating/ modernising.
Complaints to Ocean holidays were dealt with by Manager David Rose who after many emails of waffle agreed that it needed some attention & how disappointed we were after paying extra.
A £250 credit note offered off future holidays. SO… we have to book another holiday costing thousands to redeem this credit note!! Crazy.
After refusing this Mr Rose & Ocean holidays have washed their hands of us & our justified complaints.
Be careful when booking with this company, they are happy to take your money ( s lot of money)but customer care is non existent. The villa in question was in Windsor Palms resort. Road was called Fan Palm Road

Disappointing Villa Experience – Poor Standards and Even Worse Customer Service

We booked a villa through Ocean Holidays for a 3-week stay, and while the property itself had potential, the experience was riddled with issues that made our holiday far more stressful than it should have been.

To start, the cinema room—one of the main features we were excited about—didn’t work for two-thirds of our stay. Toilets blocked for no apparent reason and caused flooding twice: once leaking through the ceiling into the main bedroom, and another time soaking the living room sofa. Curtains were hanging off rails that weren’t even properly fitted, smoke alarms dangled from the ceiling with exposed wires, and the air conditioning in the arcade room never worked, making the space virtually unusable.

Basic amenities were shockingly inadequate. For a villa that sleeps up to 18 people, there were only four glasses. No kitchen towels, no cloths, and not even a chopping board. These are essentials, not extras.

The worst part? When we raised these issues with Ocean Holidays, their response was to offer us the equivalent of a two-night BBQ hire and a “late check-out” (1pm instead of 10am) as compensation—despite the fact that our flight wasn’t until 9:30pm. I even spent 2–3 hours on our final day trying to fix a flooded bathroom myself.

This level of service and disregard for customer experience is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking with Ocean Holidays.

I dealt with Chris Jones as the agent…

I dealt with Chris Jones as the agent right from the beginning and he was wonderful with booking the holiday, listening to our requirements and incorporating them into the package. He always called back as promised and I would highly recommend 👍 Thanks Chris.

We rented a villa in Florida in April…

We rented a villa in Florida in April 2024, 4 bedroom house, when we arrived the place was unclean. Toilet brush was full of pooh, lights were hanging down, the dishwasher stopped working after a few days, the waste disposal unit always stopped working.
We were charged $20 to park a car for a week which wasn't in the original T&Cs, we were charged $400 for heating the pool which wasn't in the original T&Cs, we were also promised a Barbeque which we were told on arrival that this was an extra fee. I reported this when we got back in the UK, but were given the Brush off by Dial a flight- whom the actual Holiday was booked through. I never reported it straight away as the family were out and about each day and complaining about minor issues was not on the top of my agenda, enjoying the holiday experience was the highest priority for the family. There were various other issues that were wrong and I reported all these, but was informed that as I didn't do this at the time my comments were void. I have been using Dial a flight for years and they have taken plenty of money from me for several trips, but they also refused to accept any responsibility- is it correct that they (Dial a flight) took the booking, passed the complaints on to Ocean Holidays and didn't take any responsibility for the issues , even though they would have taken there commissions ? I'm very disappointed that Ocean holidays wouldn't even respond to me , its a disgrace, I would advise any person to seriously consider using them for any travel requirements. Dial a Flight did respond and were very sympathetic , but to me that didn't cut it, they have had my business for many years but when there a problem, its all kind words and nothing more, alas I wont use them in future. Even the Travel Manager I dealt with for many years never even bothered to contact me - Maidstone branch very disappointing.
