A special place in Tunbridge Wells
We have previously ordered online but have now discovered OKA in Hoopers, Tunbridge Wells. We were so pleased especially when Nawel Dahane spent time with us to select a feature lamp and shade for our home. Perfect! Thank you and also to all your colleagues. A lovely place to shop.

Very disappointing customer service
We bought two Kirkwall leather chairs in October 2019. After only four years of occasional use, the leather on one of the seats has split, and we are frankly amazed at just how thin the leather is. We were told by the manager that our complaint would be referred to Customer Services, and their response was that we would need to employ a leather specialist. Subsequent visits to the Tunbridge Wells store have resulted in a very offhand response - we were told that four years is a long time in the life of a leather chair. A very helpful employee in the Bath store however, told us that these chairs ‘should last a lifetime’. We won’t be giving any further business to OKA.
We would reiterate that we bought 2 of the same chairs, treated them the same - kept out of direct sunlight and away from any heat source, used them equally (one does not get used more than the other) - one has performed satisfactorily as we would expect and one has not.

The varying advice you received reflects the subjective nature of what can be expected in terms of the lifespan of a leather product. "Lifetime" can vary greatly based on several external factors as previously mentioned. We strive to provide accurate and helpful information across all our stores and regret any confusion that may have been caused in this instance.
We are committed to customer satisfaction and the quality of our products. While we maintain that the issue you've encountered does not stem from a manufacturing defect, we are nonetheless eager to provide assistance and advice on how best to care for your leather furniture to enhance its durability and appearance.
