🇬🇧 I truly cannot recommend enough Ohmydog Pet Travel. My English Bulldog has travelled with Gaby and Jorge four times since 2024 between the UK and Spain, and every single journey has been smooth, safe, and incredibly well organised.

What makes them special is not just their professionalism, but their warmth. Trusting someone with your dog for international travel is a big decision, and from the very first trip they made me feel completely at ease. Communication is always clear, they keep me updated throughout the journey, and I know she is treated with genuine care and attention.

The biggest reassurance for me is seeing my dog arrive calm and happy every time. That says everything.

Thank you, Gaby and Jorge, for your consistency, kindness, and for always taking such good care of my girl. I wouldn’t choose anyone else.

🇪🇸 No puedo recomendar lo suficiente a Ohmydog Pet Travel. Mi perrita ha viajado con Gaby y Jorge cuatro veces desde 2024 entre Reino Unido y España, y cada trayecto ha sido seguro, organizado y sin estrés.

Más allá de su profesionalismo, lo que realmente los distingue es su trato cercano y el cariño con el que trabajan. Confiarles a tu mascota para un viaje internacional no es algo pequeño, pero desde el primer viaje me transmitieron total tranquilidad. Siempre mantienen una comunicación clara y constante durante el trayecto, lo cual da muchísima paz.

Lo que más me confirma que elegí bien es ver a mi perrita llegar tranquila y feliz cada vez. Eso lo dice todo.

My dog travelled with Jorge and Laura Gabriela last week from Spain to London. I am impressed by their amazing service and the van itself, I can only compare it to travelling with Emirates! I could see my dog via cameras and pictures throughout the trip and he looked just happy cuddling with them during the walks. He was not stressed when he arrived home and he ate many times during the trip -which he had not done in previous trips with other companies. Super grateful!

I spoke with Jorge on the phone today about our booking. Jorge was so kind and patient and understanding. My dog is so precious to me, he is my world. I am so careful who I trust with his care. You can hear the kindness in Jorge's voice, you know your pet will be so well cared for.

They canceled on me less than 48 hours before the trip, citing random excuses. While on the phone with Gabriela, I could hear Jorge throwing a fit in the background and talking about me in Spanish. Luckily I was able to find a better, more professional company.

Long version:
1.5 days before the trip, they texted me that their van needed a special part replaced, and they proposed to rent another vehicle and stick the pet crates in the back. I was disappointed and shocked. This was a major trip for me that I had planned months in advance. I had purposely chosen a private trip with them in their special fancy van where my cats would be comfortable and where I could fit my luggage.

I asked for some discount since an inferior vehicle would be used. I could hear Jorge yelling and badmouthing me in the background while I was talking to Gabriela, then 5 minutes later I received a generic text message saying all trips needed to be canceled because the weather was too hot, which it wasn't.

I suspect that they never intended to use their main van for my private trip. On Google Maps, another reviewer mentioned the other vehicle 3 weeks before. Maybe they only use the fancy van for group trips with multiple pets, and then for private trips I am wondering if they spring it on people at the last minute that they will use a different vehicle, and most people just say ok. They sent a screenshot of supposedly their WhatsApp conversation with the car repair shop, but it seemed a bit phony, just like their long generic message about the nonexistent hot weather.

There are a lot of other English-speaking pet transport companies in Spain run by genuine and professional people. I'm glad I found another company instead of having to deal with OMD's nonsense and rudeness.
