The device is fine but the delivery…

The device is fine but the delivery tracking isn't good. The phone arrived but I didn't know when to expect it, it took three days.

I traded in my OnePlus Nord 3, which always had a case and screen protector. They offered me £80 on the Oppo site during purchase of a Find X9. It took them 7 weeks to reply, only to say it had minor scratches on the back and would I take £75?

They say to include the original box with your phone for the best trade in price but the packaging they supply to you is slim, only designed to accept the handset and possibly the charger.

I like the device, good performance, great battery life but my store experience would dissuade me from buying another Oppo smartphone.

Avoid buying directly from them

Worst experience purchasing online. 0 customer service, you can't get a hold with anyone from their team, chatbot resets every 2 minutes, saying "sorry we missed you", whilst it's the other way round. I tried on multiple occasions, and wasted hours before I got connected.

I opted in for the trade-in and bought a new oppo find x9 pro, it's been nearly 4 weeks and have not heard from them on anything about my old phone.

I would genuinely advise against purchasing directly from the oppo store if you can. Unbelievable how a global company like this, could have such a bad experience...

Stressful and tiring trade-in process - many delays. They give you less than initially promised for your old phone

Went though the trade-in process. Endless delays and impossible to communicate over the phone. I traded in a 4 year old Find X3 Pro which was in absolute mint condition. They offered me £119 for the phone initially and then knocked the offer down to £84 claiming it had scuffs and marks - which was not true. In the end they refunded £84 plus £200 bonus.. so I received a total of £284, equivalent to a 25% reduction of the price of the new Find X9 Pro (£1099)

Broken seal on delivered phone twice

Previously had an Oppo so thought I would get a new one. Two main issues with this company. 1. The pricing is highly dynamic. When searching for a phone, if there is a current discount and you dont buy immediately the price changes back to the original. That can be a difference of £50-£100 so is a significant difference. Even clearing cookies does not change the behavoir on the website. This is quite unethical. 2. Having then decided and able to buy a phone with a discount the second problem that occurs is that the phones arrive with a broken seal on the box. I rang to complain and was given instructions to return the phone as they should be intact. After returning , 10 days later I receive another phone with the same issue. The green seals on the box on the right hand side as you are looking at the phone was broken again. The break was perfect along the dotted area so looks like it was cut with a knife. I was so cross and disappointed. I rang 3 times, the first time was like an answer machine which said the line was full, 2 nd cut off then third time answered by Carl who arranged the original return. He discussed it with his manager who said- only in the UK many buyers have had the same issue. They have fed back to Asus?? that this is a problem with the stickers. Apperently they might need to use all the stickers up before getting a different supply- INSANE, if true why not contact manufacturer and source elsewhere? They then blame DPD delivery. So a phone can sail across the ocean on a container ship, but seal broke when packaged in a jiffy and bag?? He reassurred me that it is a new phone and not a recon as IMEI number does not have a code after it on their system. So what about Chinese Government only interferering with phones for British market if it only is a problem here? Or bad actors at Oppo themselves? How do I know there isnt any interference or trackers? Well I cant know. If they are all broken on the seal on the right side with a knife then that indicates a pattern and human interference. Would I buy again from them - no I would not

Awful communication/business practise

Returned a car charger and a wireless charger a month ago, only found out through my own effort of emails that my PayPal email address was 'wrong'. Gave the same correct email again 5 days ago and still no refund.

If I hasn't of emailed constantly, I probably wouldn't of even known what happened in the first place.

I can't be bothered to worry over £60 anymore but i won't buy anything from the storefront again. It's a shame because me and my other half own flagship oppo phones.

Genuinely quite awful business practise.

Edit

*I eventually got a refund but took at least a month and a half, so changed to 2 stars*

Shocking Retail Outlet.

This review is about the 'Oppo Authorised Reseller' "Five Tech Limited" which trades at the website> oppostore.co.uk. Not to be confusion with the Oppo.com. webpage.

I contacted Five Tech by email to give feedback regarding my purchase experience with this "Authorised Reseller", I have included my email, but I am unable to attach the photos of the terrible state of the items that were delivered by Five Tech's Courier of choice, and the inadequate 'plastic courier bag' which contained an 'Oppo Pad-Air Tablet' and proprietary premium case.

I sent the email twice due to no response from Five Tech to the first, 'email tracking' confirmed it was opened on BOTH occasions. If Oppo wishes to promote a strong UK market, this Reseller is destroying any hope of achieving this.

I strongly advise anyone NOT to use Five Tech to purchase Oppo products. Unfortunately the Oppo.com website automatically redirects the customer to Five Tech (oppostore.co.uk) when 'SHOP' in clicked on! My email is below....

To Customer Services Team
I am a new customer of OPPO products. I bought the Oppo Phone first, the X3 Find Neo, and now direct from the OPPO Online Store, the PAD-AIR (Invoice Attached). Okay, the praise first. Thank you for the speedy despatch process, it was very prompt. Now the bad stuff, remember I am a NEW customer of your products, my experience and what I tell my friends, together with any review on Trustpilot COUNTS! Please look at the x3 photos below.
The DPD Courier and/or your despatch department needs a shake-up. What on earth do you expect your premium items in the quite attractive sealed cartons to look like after the customer receives them, when you just shoved them in a superficial Plastic Delivery Bag? Well look at my photos and you will see. Ruptured Delivery Bag with the Contents Hanging Out! Is this what you are quite "okay with" as a good customer experience? Take a leaf out of Amazon's book regarding product despatch and 'Over-Boxed' your products.
Thank heavens the PAD AIR was still functional and continues that way I hope, my whole experience of receiving a new purchase left me feeling let down and disappointed. I sincerely hope you take my comments seriously, you would do well to learn from this.

i got a phone called Oppo find X3 Neo…

i got a phone called Oppo find X3 Neo with trade in the program a month ago. The Website offered me for my Ex phone (pixel 4 XL) £275. However, although it's been more than a month they didn't refund to me for my ex phone and refused to pay it back to me. Finally, i told them send my phone back and don't wanna buy your phone too. They even didn't care and after a week sent my ex phone. I will never buy again from Oppo as they never keep their offer or promise to Customer!!!.
