We have had our Orange Trouvaille Classique SWB (build number 016) pop-top campervan for 3 years.

We first met Richard at the Lincoln show in 2021. Orange was the first company we came across as we went in. Richard’s enthusiasm and knowledge of all things campervans really shone through. After touring all the other exhibitors, we ended up back talking to Richard. We hired a Trouvaille for a few nights in October to check that my dodgy back would be okay. It was and I sleep very well with the mattress topper recommended by Sonia. The build went very smoothly considering all that was going on and we took delivery in May 2022.

We have been very happy with quality of the build and the after sales service from Orange. Fiat have replaced a clutch sensor a couple of time under their 3-year warranty. The first time, a warning light flashed on the way to the Outer Hebrides. Helpful advice from Richard convinced us to carry on and complete a successful trip.

Over the 3 years we have spent about 140 nights away. This has included longer trips of 2-3 weeks to the Outer Hebrides, Spain, France, Devon and Cornwall. We have also done many shorter trips in between. 016 is used all year round and is nice and warm with the heater and a hot water bottle in December and January. We like that there is plenty storage room and have had no problem fitting in the gin, wine and champagne to bring home.

We've created great memories, visited new places, and met interesting people thanks to our campervan. We love it, and so do our two granddaughters who love to play up top.

If you're looking for a quality, family friendly and reliable campervan then I can't recommend Orange Campers enough. We met Richard at a show and were impressed by and all the features their conversion of the Fiat Ducato offered, especially when compared with the golf.
We've enjoyed many great family adventures in our camper and Richard has been a great help on two occasions after purchase when we wanted help on some upgrades/fixes.

We have had our Trouvaille Classique Campervan from Orange Campers for over a year. We first saw the vans at the Lincolnshire showground exhibition and were attracted by the interior layout, build quality and attention to detail of finish. We chose the fixed high roof due to my height, which has the added bonus of additional storage. We have been very happy with the service from the team at Orange and Richard is always at the end of the phone if you need help or advice regarding the van.

We have had our Trouvaille Actif for a year now and we quite frankly love it! The only thing missing is a fixed toilet so we recently had a test drive in a Carado 5.4 m van. So did we purchase the Carado van….NO! And why not? Well, the build quality of our Trouvaille Actif is far superior to the supposedly upmarket Carado, with no rattles, superior suspension, excellent powerful engine and overall comfort. The space to just relax in after a walk in the hills is far more generous in the Actif.
The service provided by Richard and his team at Orange Campers has been first class. We did have a few things that needed putting right at the start and these were sorted out very quickly indeed. A 3 year guarantee is provided and Richard is proud that any issues are dealt with speed.
The question must be that if we want a fixed toilet in the van what do we do? The obvious answer for us is to look at the new 5.4m van offered by Orange campers as we can sure that the build quality will be of the highest standard.

After much research I found Orange Campers. Having had my previous transit van stolen I was looking for something smaller but with all the facilities that it had. Orange micro camper fitted the bill perfectly. From the initial enquiry to pick up day the service, attention to detail, friendly staff and most of all superior quality and finish of the camper were second to none. Richard is a camper so the van has many little details , like power points, to make life so much easier. The cupboard space is thoughtful and ample , the finish is superb. Nice one Orange!!

We have had campervans for many years so were super picky about the spec of any van we wanted. We had been all round the small camper exhibition and found nothing that worked for us at all… and then I stumbled on Orange Campers.
Immediately, I loved the van which, on first inspection, seemed to fit the bill! As we were shown over it, however, our admiration grew, as we could tell that Richard was a campervanner himself and really understood the day-to-day issues of living in a van. His evident enthusiasm as he showed us all the thoughtful additions he had made to the conversion - based on actually using it - convinced us that Orange Campers were the right fit for us. And we haven’t regretted it at any point since. Sonia and Jessica made the purchase totally transparent and pleasant, and, after three months doing 4,500 miles across Europe - where Richard was on the end of the phone if we had a query - and then, more recently, in snow and storms, our van has been a joy. We can’t rate these guys highly enough - nor the van community they have built around them.

After owning a smaller camper van for a few years, I had found out what worked and what didn't and built up a list of what I wanted in my next van.
Foremost I wanted more space but still wanted something that would fit in a normal parking space.
I thought this would probably be a VW but in 2022 I visited a camper van show in Peterborough and had a look at the Orange Campers and was immediately impressed by the extra space compared to VW offerings.
The interior was different compared to the grey/dark colour schemes of other camper vans and they even squeezed in a 90 litre fridge where others only offered 50 litres.
They also included features in the standard build that were optional extras for other vans - solar panel, under-slung LPG and heater, fresh and waste water tanks and tracking device as standard.
The other notable impression from my visit was Richard Tomlin's knowledge and enthusiasm for building camper vans.
The build/order process was simple with the Orange team giving me information on what colour schemes I could choose and providing a list of options that were popular with other customers.
They also managed to source a low mileage second hand van for the build which had the Peugeot Professional options included and reduced the price of the build.
I have now been using the van for over a year with no problems and have been on a couple of Orange Campers owners camp outs where I have met other owners and shared experiences and tips.
Orange Campers are a small family business and this probably extends to the van owners who are treated like they are family with the Orange team doing their best to resolve any issues in a friendly way.
If you are looking for a quality conversion that offers flexibility in the build, with the team happy to include bespoke features, then I would suggest you should include Orange Campers in your shortlist.

We have had our Trouvaille Classique SWB campervan 4 years now and spent over 200 nights away. We just love it. The size is perfect for the two of us, it fits on the drive and in a normal parking space. You can drive down most roads with ease. We sleep better in the van then we do at home - I think being outside in nature and free from those everyday chores helps! We upgraded recently to a lithium battery which means with the solar panel we rarely need to hook up and can easily camp off grid if able. The quality of the build is fantastic and the help and service from Richard and Jessica has always been first class.

Hired van for 3 nights, great experience. Build quality excellent. Service excellent.

Having just retired we decided to go into the campervan market to allow us to travel the country and potentially Europe. I then spent many hours researching and looking at various companies, but I then can across Orange campers. We liked the look of what they were offering and made an appointment to visit them at Malvern show. Richard and Sonia then spent a lot of time going through the pros and cons of their vans with no pressure to buy and some very honest opinions from people who produce and travel in the vans themselves. We then hired a van to make sure we were happy, which was an easy experience and we were convinced. We have now ordered a van and have visited their factory twice receiving good detailed information on our options and the process. We will hopefully be getting our van prior to the year end and look forward to happy travels

Orange is a small business with a big heart. When we bought our van in the throes of Covid, there was no end of hassle with the supply of the van from Italy but Rich and Sonya stuck with us and kept us up to speed with all the tribulations and changing circumstances. However when our van delivery from Italy fell through they stood by our agreement and sorted us with another van they had kept back. Recently there was an issue with our solar panel and, as well as sorting the panel, they contributed to our ferry crossing from our home in Northern Ireland which was over and above any guarantee requirements. While fixing the solar panel they also upgraded some fixings under the van for no cost. What more could you ask for?

From the 1st meeting with Richard, our Orange journey has been great! When we came to choose our interior options, the choice left us bewildered but Sonya stepped in to help out. Since then we have met the Team a few times, either getting new extras fitted or a faulty solar panel sorted out. They have all been great and the customer service has been great. We love our Trouvaille Classique, it is so roomy and fitted out to a very high standard. We always recommend Orange Campers when asked, you can't go wrong!

I had done quite a bit of research and knew what my 'must-haves' for a campervan were: at 5'10" I needed to be able to stand up inside at all times - no pop-top; SWB for easier parking, as this would be my sole vehicle; ULEZ compliant as I have relatives in London; easy to handle; room for a portapotti. I went to the Bath&West Show in September 2023, just to look.... When I came across Richard and Jess at their Orange Campers stand, I stopped looking! Their Hightop Trouvaille Classique was everything I could have wished for and more. The care and attention to detail that has gone into every aspect of the design is second to none. The beautifully light and airy interior decoration with a pale blue and grey colour scheme gives such a feeling of space - everyone who has been in it has commented on this. It is a delight to drive (Peugeot Boxer) with an incredible turning circle, comfortable seats and good visibility. The icing on the cake is the attitude of Orange Campers. They are a dedicated, small family business, for whom customer service and satisfaction means everything. They are always on hand with advice and deal promptly with any queries or post-sale niggles and tweaks if needed. They also place a high value in fostering a sense of community amongst Trouvaille Owners, with a dedicated Facebook page, newsletters and organising annual get-togethers. I cannot think of any other campervan company that takes such pride in it's product (and rightly so), as well as treating it's customers with such respect. I am coming up to my first anniversary with 'Milli' and I couldn't be happier with her. Thank you all!

We found this company to convert our VW camper from poptop to hightop and are delighted with result. Their communication and work has been brilliant. They are approachable friendly and trustworthy. We would have no hesitation in using them again ourselves and recommending them to others.

Buying a campervan is a considered purchase and not one to be taken lightly. We looked at many, trying to decide what was best for us. That’s when we met Richard at a camping show! He had time for all our questions, no pressure and no time constraints.

As a small family business, this is not a quick build but, after discussion and guidance, we now have a van that has all the ‘bits and pieces’ we wanted.

We’ve had our superb Orange Trouvaille high top campervan since May 2023 and have had many exciting adventures in it. We cannot speak highly enough of the Orange team and their campervan designs. They are just brilliant-so well designed, storage everywhere, little design features which make you smile, great to drive and relax in, we really cannot praise the Orange team enough! We are just so pleased we came across them at a campervan show. The support from the team is amazing after purchase and you feel like part of the family with their annual campouts and regular newsletters and YouTube videos. Any problems arising are sorted out by them and upgrades can easily be done later on if required (lithium battery, solar panel upgrades, flyscreens etc). We would never go anywhere else now for a campervan!

We’ve had our van for a couple of years and spent some time researching the options… but as soon as we met Richard & Sonya and saw the Orange campers set up we knew we’d found the perfect van. Cannot praise them and their expertise highly enough… no hard sell just shining enthusiasm for their excellent product.

We have just got our VW camper back after Orange fitted a high top roof to replace our pop-top. We went for their full lithium package too, and solar and WiFi. All fitted so well by their guys who have done a fantastic job. Richard and the team have to be the nicest people to do business with. So many great ideas to help us get the best out of the conversion and they have really gone above and beyond with their attention to detail. Thoroughly recommend them to anyone thinking of doing the same.
