Orbitdvd would've been a new place for…

Orbitdvd would've been a new place for me to buy dvd Blu-ray 4k. But the experience is horrible. My first big order was luckily shipped with no problem whatsoever. But my next order never even got picked up. I doubt they actually had the items in stock. When I contacted them to get help for the problem. They only reply with UPS has picked it up and it could take a month. I've checked with UPS and they never picked up the package. Also I've had other deliveries during the same time frame by UPS delivered without a problem. Now I'm having to dispute the charge with my bank and PayPal. To anyone thinking small business needs support. Listen to what I've noticed. I've had a bad experience with every single small business I've dealt with in the previous year. I'm not supporting any small business anymore based on these experiences. The experience is they all act haughty and as if you should be loyal to them. I'm done with small business. Orbitdvd needs to get their act together. Cause one day they may get no support.

2026 ORBITDVD Customer Service FAIL

I have placed 40 plus orders from OrbitDVD over years, mostly with no issues or problems. However, when I have had problems from an OrbitDVD oversight/error, their responses were very trite and unhelpful. They absolutely refuse to accept any responsibility when they screw up, to include email responses reflecting as if they were communicating with a low IQ nitwit.
OrbitDVD is completely unwilling to recognize the individual history of their valued customer. The general attitude in a nutshell is take or leave it. Doesn't matter to them if you have made 1 or 100 orders, loyalty means nothing. They will never offer an apology, admit a mistake, or ever offer a solution.
The criteria for ordering that you have to follow is fairly strict, and if you don't follow according to their guidelines your order gets rejected which I don't fault them for. Using that same logic, their policy/timelines regarding pre-order fulfillment is often conveniently inaccurate, doing whatever they want at their discretion leaving the customer in the lurch. I am well aware of release date delays, the issue then becomes problematic for OrbitDVD with their of lack of options and nasty attitude.
You the customer have to play by their guidelines, but OrbitDVD does not follow their own policies using them as patchwork to cover their end at the customers expense..
If you inquire about the delay, the reply you receive will contain no explanation or answer to your query.
If you do have a transit shipping issue, you will have to contact USPS/UPS about tracking, filling out forms which means going to the local shipper who will have to interview the delivery driver, etc. It becomes a huge headache and guess what, Orbit wants no involvement in any of it.
In summary, don't expect them to offer any assistance when problems occur other than the old let me provide a tracking number to the dumb customer you are.
I have been a dedicated customer of OrbitDVD and like supporting local business. However, people need to be aware of how their disdain for the customer suddenly is exposed when orders go sideways.

I heard many times that they have a reputation for packing stuff extremely well for collectors, and I'm happy to say, this is absolutely true!

In addition to that, they have a wide selection and fast shipping.

I'm a fan, man. Thank you, orbitdvd!

Slow slow shipping

Slow slow shipping, horrendous insulting customer service. They list items for sale they dont have. Big time shady business practices.

Delayed shipping & Return policy issues

Delayed shipping. And their refund policy is conflicting in its statements regarding being provided a return label. They say that once it’s accepted, it will be provided yet in the same policy it states that you have to pay for your own return. Not a fan.

Orbit is the best!

Fantastic store! I've ordered from them many times- very fast shipping and great packaging. One of the best bluray stores to order from. They will also sometimes ship items the same day and have great prices on used movies.

Orbit DVD rocks!

I have made several purchases from orbit.dvd.com. Their prices are very competitive compared to Amazon, frequently even cheaper. Their selection of independent cinema and foreign and import movies is amazing. I highly recommend buying from them.

Don't trust them for honesty

It's been 2 months since my dealing with them, but they are a dishonest company. They sold me Dawn of the Dead and did not say it was "Region in UK only" I complained to Pay Pal. Won and was reimbursed. Problem was they didn't have it advertised that way, I took a screenshot, they then put the advertisement as Region free then took it off. Confusing? Yes, But they are dishonest and never did get back to me to make things right. I say now Who cares anyway

Poor Customer Service

They limit their items, cancelled my order and was notified which is fine and then after just cancelled my orders even when I complied to there rules.
