They put item on stock, when you purchased them they said its already sold out and offered refund

Didnt receive refund for few weeks now, its also very hard to reach out to their customer support

I've been ordering from Orbitgear for years, And recently ordered a new bag. Despite their slow manufacturing time, which is because of customs and importing goods to their country. Their products are still always good quality, and arrives internationally very quickly once the product is ready to go out. Just have patience with them, don't rush them. They're a small company and always do their best for their consumers.

They didn't even have the product I ordered and emailed me saying they needed to extend delivery to get the product. After waiting a few weeks they came back and asked for another month or be given a refund. After asking for a refund, I'm still left waiting for that a month later after requesting it.

Best Sling bag, backpack, jacket and pants I have ever bought.

Keep improving the quality of the product and providing unique releases :)

They put items as in stock but make you wait months before anything ships. I've tried giving them chances but they will just lie to your face saying it's been picked up by DHL, and then they'll use every possible excuse to make youj wait longer.

I have been a long-time OrbitGear customer since 2019 with the OG R202SR-BK bag being my first bag from them and over the years, I have picked up several other bags like the M100-ADV, R231-ADV, SP001-TB, and many modular pouches. OrbitGear is the perfect affordable middle-ground technical bag for its price without spending Acronym-level prices.

I was never really a big fan of OrbitGear Clothing due to the heavy inspiration taken from Acronym designs. As a fan and customer of both brands, my honest review will solely be on their technical bags. Although many would argue OrbitGear has been copying Acronym designs for years. I believe they have already evolved to that stage where they have been designing bags that Acronym has not designed or created.

As an owner of several Acronym pieces, I never saw myself dishing out $1.5k for a bag. In terms of quality, design, and functionality, ACRONYM sits on top of all technical brands on the market and their attention to detail is unbeatable. And if someone doesn't know the difference in design between these two brands, then they haven't seen the difference in hand. The difference in design and quality is noticeably different and not comparable in all respects. Now that I have gotten this point across, back to OrbitGear.

OrbitGear for the 'price', is unbeatable in design and quality compared to other competing technical bag brands around similar price points. They are built to last. In the past few years, we saw a big price inflation with their bags and it just was not worth it at the time until it hit sales. Currently, as of the time of writing this review, the price is now more reasonable and I hope OrbitGear will continue to bring good quality designs while keeping prices down.

In terms of customer service and shipping issues. Noval, the Customer Services Officer, is great. He has been helping me for a long time now and is quick to resolve any order inquiries and shipping issues. I have noticed that shipping delays occur more frequently than before, but an email to Noval quickly solved the delay.

Bought from Orbitgear 4 times and 2 times out of them the items were shipped pretty quickly and I received them within 2 weeks of the shipping date stated on the items' page. The other 2 times I waited around 1 to 2 months before the item was shipped but I assume they were pretty small batch items, so assume some lead time for any niche item you're buying.

They are absolutely worth the price though (especially when on sale which is quite often for non-limited releases), all the items I got (1 messenger bag, 2 pants, 1 jacket) are all very comfortable to wear and the pants' water resistance performance can certainly withstand being in some constant heavy rain for aound 20-30 minutes. All around very happy with all my items!

Their bags and clothes are great quality. International shipping doesn't take too long. I'm not sure why there are so many reviews mentioning bad customer service - I've contacted customer service a few times for minor things and never had any trouble.

You can get great item, but remember to be patient. (Ordered 18 september, recived 8 october) There is always a triangle about cheap-good-fast. As ordering first time from such far away company I was kinda worried about shipment but after few days I've got email from DHL that package is in my country and is waiting for tax check/customs(5th october). Would recommend.

Design is spot on, quality is through the roof and the materials are some space-grade level of awesomeness, didn’t really have any complaints about shipping or anything whatsoever

I only regret that I didn’t bought more and wish for more positions to be in stock

I have been a buyer of Orbitgear since 2020. I have had many items, resold the items and purchased newer versions more aligned to my taste.

Love: the designs, quality and price of the bags and clothing. The equivalent versions under other brands are priced three times as much and also aren't as well designed and versatile as these. Also, they have great communication via email or their instagram page. I can also use PayPal as a trusted payment medium.

Dislike: one time one item was assembled incorrectly but it was a minor issue. Out of 20+ items I have purchased, that was the only time I had an issue. Also, some items don't make a comeback until waayy later so it is best to get your hands on specific designs while they are available.

Note: if you are overseas, the item will take a while to get to you BUT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT.

Found Orbit while watching backpack reviews on YouTube. Shopped a ton of brands and price points, only to land on the Nighthawk 25L to replace my 10yr old Timbuk2 Rogue. I read the Orbit Gear site extensively, since I knew the company was a small international business. I understood that the manufacturing of my bag would occur *after* my order, but what blew me away was that the shipping made it from Jakarta to Denver, CO in 72 hrs! When my bag arrived, it was double wrapped in plastic and in a shipping bag. "Unboxing" it I was thrilled to find the quality of the materials and the stitching are extremely high quality. This bag is full of well-thought and expertly crafted features and the durability should exceed my trusty old Timbuk2. My only complaint is that it's heavier than I expected, however the heft resonates with the quality.

I will be recommending Orbit Gear to friends, and will come back again to shop this brand. I'm already looking forward to finding a need for more of their gear. They just require a little patience to receive your order, but the wait is well worth it.

All the bad reviews they have are true, be careful with this page, they are thieves and they will never send you what you bought, they come with excuses like they dont have the components to make your order, etc.. be careful it's scam

Ordered multiple times from this company and always an issue with how long it takes to get to me. This will be the last time.

Contacting them is a struggle, if you do get a reply it's always an excuse and you're still left in the dark as to when you will get what you paid for.

The products themselves are good, however not worth the headache. Much better options out there.

Bought a bag in May it's now July and it hasn't even shipped yet.

Been in touch with their "customer service" and told that it's with the courier and out of their hands that they apologise for the inconvenience etc. Once I was told that if by next week it doesn't move they'll change to an express courier and let me know. Never happened.
Reading reviews online I see that they lie about having shipped things so I assume that's what happened to me. It has been 7 weeks now and my order is not even changed status from confirmed.

I am severely disappointed, their customer service is useless, sometimes even rude.. will definitely not buy from them again.

I've shopped at Orbit several times. Between 2019 and 2024. The last two purchases have been so disastrous on their part that I can't recommend it to anyone.

Very good product quality, catastrophic service.
Logistics employees urgently need to be trained, as do the people who are in contact with the customers.

Terrible customer service. Will lie and make up excuses in order to delay your order. Made an order on April 18 2024, they proceeded to make up excuses and then send me a fake "pick up confirmation" (it was just a customs declaration form). Kept ignoring me when I called them out on it, and refused to acknowledge my cancellation and refund requests for a month. They finally cancelled the order on June 3 2024 but still haven't issued the refund and is currently making up excuses.

Frustratingly silent customer service.

I made an order on the 22nd of march. Other than order confirmation - no indication of when I would receive my order aside from the confirmation email mentioning we’ll process your order within 72 hours.

After a week or so of no communication, I used their website to contact them asking for timelines - no reply.

After another week I tried again. No reply. Also attempting to contact them on instagram yielded no results.

Almost a month after initial purchase, I’ve just attempted to contact again to cancel and refund my order.

Just a note - in all fairness they’ve had a major sale on, maybe this has caused a backlog. And this period did have Easter holidays. But a month no communication is unacceptable.

I’ll update this review depending on outcome.

So all of the above still holds - but I was issued a refund, and offered a free gift with next purchase. Still unlikely I'll shop with Orbit again.

Beware of the cx and shipping issue before you order.
Orbit gear item are great for it's value, I have ordered 4 times, 3 times few years back and 1 time early this year.
Their mismanagement of producing and shipping is horrendous. My first order few years back was a jacket which they told me it's preorder and will send in a month. The I have to follow up in email for over 2 month and more to finally received. The 2nd and 3rd time I ask if they have in stock and ready to ship before order. Those times went somewhat smoothly but they are still having issues manage their dispatch. Average around 1 week from order place to order sent. The most recent time has been really bad. I have to email them constantly to get them to ship it.
They always have the same set of excuses in the email: will check with courier team / QC issue etc. It is almost a miracle to get your order in a reasonable timeframe.
That being said, do your research on their shipping and customer service before order.
