Oriveda Avis 

This company sent me a fake invoice and told me to file it with Austrian customs.

I paid €133.63. They declared my order at USD 15.50 on the customs form. Customs saw straight through it and held the parcel. When I asked what was going on, Oriveda called it a favour — a low declared value means less VAT for you.

Then they emailed me an invoice for that fake amount and instructed me to submit it to Austrian customs myself. Their justification, in writing: customs have no way to know the real value. When I refused, they wondered how customs could possibly know anyway, since there's no website printed on the bottle.

Understand what they were asking. Their lie, my signature, my name in a customs file, and every consequence landing on me alone. I'm a foreign national living in Austria — that document could have cost me far more than a parcel. They didn't care in the slightest.

And the favour cost me more, not less. Their rejected declaration triggered processing fees on top of the VAT I'd have happily paid in the first place. Then they refused to refund me until the parcel returns to Hong Kong — something the postal service may never do, since it can be destroyed instead. Heads they win, tails I lose €133.63.

No apology. No responsibility. Every single reply blamed customs, the shipping, or me for not reading their website carefully enough.

No product. No money back. And an invitation to lie to a government authority on their behalf.

Whatever their supplements are like, nothing is worth this. Search elsewhere and never order from here.

I used to buy Lion's Mane from an Australian company but gave up after six months with no noticeable effect. It took a couple of years before I was willing to try mushroom supplements again. I'm now on my second month of Oriveda CCCE, and I'll definitely be reordering. The difference has been pretty remarkable. My focus is sharper, and I'm just less reactive to stressful or difficult situations than I used to be. I'm more alert and less tired too, even on days when I've only had 4 hours of sleep because the kids were unwell or needy. I've also noticed a real shift in my outlook. I used to be quite pessimistic, and now I feel more relaxed and able to just take things as they come. I never liked the idea of exercising either, but I've actually dragged my elliptical out of storage and into the lounge, which says a lot. I'm so grateful I gave this a go. Would recommend it to anyone who's tried other mushroom supplements without much luck. It's a pity to see the other reviews don't reflect the actual product.

I placed an order with Oriveda (Order #2026-17158-EU), but it never arrived. Although the DHL track & trace indicates 'delivered', I have received nothing, and no signature was required or provided for receipt.
Instead of resolving this professionally, customer service is attempting to shift the responsibility onto the consumer. Oriveda claims their Hong Kong base exempts them, but since they actively target the Dutch and European markets (Dutch website, iDEAL payments via Stripe), they are strictly bound by EU and Dutch consumer protection laws.
Oriveda refuses any responsibility by pointing to their own FAQ, which states they are not liable once a package is marked as 'delivered'. This is legally incorrect: a company's own terms or FAQs never override the law. According to Dutch and EU Consumer Law (Art. 7:11 BW / Directive 2011/83/EU), the risk of loss or damage remains with the seller until the goods are in the physical possession of the consumer. A status in a digital tracking system does not constitute legal proof of delivery.
Oriveda is refusing a replacement or a refund of nearly €160, which is legally unacceptable. I have sent an official notice of default and will report this to the ACM (Dutch Consumer Authority) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC) if no solution is provided. A very disappointing experience with a company that claims to be professional.

warning to other purchasers-yes great products ,one of the best quality imo,however be advised that if you order it its going to take three(3) weeks until you get it as its shipped from hong kong.

Ordered for more than 70 euro's a mushroom supplement from this company.

The first surprise. The products where shipped from China. I had to wait 2 to 3 weeks for my products.

Apparently they are located in Hong Kong. What does this mean for the quality inspection of the products? How trustworthy is this?

After waiting for 3 weeks, the products where according to the tracking link delivered to my home. Even though I was not even home (I was on a Holiday).

So, basically the product is gone (maybe the delivery guy took it himself?). Oriveda is not taking any responsibility. Even though I have proof that I was not at home during "delivery".

A company is responsible for delivering the products at the customers home. This did not happen.

Very poor customer service...
