I visited Or on a recent trip to Scotland and loved the shop, and was so glad that they have a lovely online shop with a great selection of beautiful handcrafted local items. This was my second purchase! Ordering was a breeze, and it shipped very quickly!

It is a treat to explore this shop. It has a wonderful range of gifts and so different and interesting. We could find something nice for anyone we care about, any age in this treasure trove.

Gorgeous independent shop with an amazing selection of homewares and accessories. I could buy everything! Lots hand picked from local artist and makers around Scotland. If you can’t visit in person they have a website. Definitely a must visit when on Skye

Not just one, but two stunningly beautiful shops selling the most gorgeous items. Our last visit was extra special when our dog was made so very welcome by the owner’s cute little dog! The ideal spot for some luxury, artisan gifts for you and loved ones. Go and spoil yourself, a visit to Portree wouldn’t be the same without a visit to Òr Skye.

I love finding my friends and family unique gifts when I travel. It is even better when I can do this while supporting local artists at an independent store. Enter the Isle of Skye shop named Òr.
Òr is located in the town Portree which you have to see when visiting the Isle of Skye. It is precious. We stumbled upon this shop, and I fell in love. I found so many gorgeous things here that I did not find anywhere else while traveling through Scotland. I purchased blankets, socks, gloves, and postcards. I cannot recommend this place enough. They also can ship items if you are traveling internationally like we were. The staff was so kind and helpful in helping me select the ideal blankets. Five stars ⭐️

I felt so welcomed as soon as I stepped in the door, such beautiful things to buy in there, I myself purchased some lovely yarn. The staff are very friendly and approachable. I would recommend this shop to anyone and would love to visit again

A lovely little shop I stumbled upon while on vacation. Perfect for finding unique, quality gifts that you will want to keep for yourself. I love that they stock items from artists/makers - the shop owners have exquisite taste! And they’re located in the cutest seaside town, you can find plenty of local shops and things to do nearby.
