So lucky I found Oumere

So lucky I found Oumere
This is my honest review: My skin has seriously never looked better. love the No.9 exfoliant, and the peptide serums make me look like I did when I was a teenager

Equitable Customer service non-existent

I've been an Oumere customer for over 5 years. I have found their products to be helpful for my skin - especially their
No. 9 exfoliant.

Yes, they have (pricey$$$), but effective, products.

That said, their attitide towards their customers is, imo, completely awful.

Don't ever expect, as an Oumere customer to get anything more than superficial rhetoric from 'customer service' if a problem arises. You are on your own, if an issue develops with this Co.
All sales are final- even for their make-up line -
Oh! The color is wrong for your Skin tone? Too bad! You bought it - the color is wrong ? Too bad! Now you are stuck with it. That's their attitide toward customer satisfaction with Oumere's own products!

Case in point, yesterday, before placing a nearly $700 order, I inquired about how to apply my, previously EARNED, VIP points to apply a discount to this order.
I was advised by Taylor (CSx rep) - on Chat - that I had TWO $50 'gift cards, and a $25 gift card available, and that I could redeem just one card = a $50 discount limit, to any order, but that was the limit. One gift card, per order.

Fine. I redeemed one of the $50 gift cards to my order. It takes 1K VIP points per every $50 gift card. SO, this means that I had well over 2K VIP points yesterday, starting out. Per Taylor's own words!
I redeemed a $50 gift card (out of TWO) which means that I should have still had one $50 card and one $25 card left to redeem in the future. Plus I earned another 697 VIP points with yesterday's order.

BUT! In checking my VIP points after this purchase, I had only a total of 959 VIP points (which included the newly earned 697 points).
Somehow, 1K points of my 2nd & unredeemed $50 gift card had vanished into thin air.

I asked Taylor in CsX what happened to that card! I gave her all the relevant data about this, now missing, $50 gift card, INCLUDING the code number for it that I had recorded. It DID exist prior to my order, where I redeemed a DIFFERENT $50 gift card, (different code #)

Her answer was that, no, I had less than 300 VIP pts. yesterday, starting out - NOT points numbering in the thousands. This cannot be true if, indeed, as Taylor herself had told me - that I had had TWO $50 gift cards available, prior to my purchase.

I emailed her again with proof that I had had two $50 gift cards, AND I included with the email, a copy of the Chat session dialog where SHE, herself, had advised me that I had two $50 gift cards. I asked AGAIN what happened to the unredeemed $50 gift card - it was GONE.

Her answer? 'I explained how the points work, and I am not going to argue with you anymore about these points.'

I responded firmly, but appropriately, that it appears that Oumere has a poor attitide about their customers. If she had any regard for her customer's satisfaction, she'd answer me responsibly on the very valid points I'd brought up! She TOLD me I had TWO $50 cards - I redeemed ONE - and now one was missing.
In other words I confronted her with the truth and asked again for a responsible answer. I did tell her that this is poor customer service, imo, and I suspect it comes from the TOP down - otherwise I'd be bringing this issue to Wendy, Oumere's owner. But I think its futile to do so.

So, Taylor's answer to my (appropriate but confrontational email) - ?
'OK, then I will cancel your account from the VIP program. Have a nice day!'

Nasty, nasty, nasty attitude toward her own customers.
She just cancelled all the 959 VIP points I had rightfully earned, for any future orders! (as if I'm ever going to order again from this company, lol) - and then she had the GALL to wish me 'a nice day' with that BAD news, which SHE herself had generated.
I now believe she cancelled my VIP status because she knows I HAVE the redemption code for that 2nd $50 gift card. I probably could have redeemed it in a future order. BUT - now, of course I cannot, bc she cancelled me from VIP.

I have suspected this Co. in the past of being under-handed with their VIP program.

I went back/forth with Taylor about why I earned no points with a past order when I was in the VIP program. I never got anywhere with her. She just kept answering with this rote instruction - 'log in, and you will see your VIP points.' This is true - log on and view yiur VIP points - however, I DID, and she knew I did, and no points registered for a past $700 order! I finally just gave up trying to recover those points.

Another time- because I was now paying attention - I noticed that no points accrued for my newly placed order.
I emailed immediately, and THAT time she couldn't wiggle out of it, so she gave me the points. Probably bc she couldn't deny the issue - it was too recent.

This is the type of company you will be dealing with, if you were to subject yourself to this customer abuse by ordering from Oumere! I'd advise anyone to stay away.

I love the concept of these products…

I love the concept of these products and that they are liquid which seems to absorb well. BUT they are so irritating!!!! Made me break out in ways I don’t even with Retin-A. No returns and very expensive.
