Ebike shopping for complete novice
I had been looking for an ebike for quite sometime and had visited a few retailers in my area but didn't find what I was looking for so did an Internet search and found ebikes direct, after liaising with Matt we found a bike that suited all of my needs, I'm not a novice rider but I am when it comes to an ebike. Matt was helpful, informative and most importantly honest. My bike reached me in just over a week later, they had built it for me so all I had to do was attach the pedals (which was really helpful) I absolutely love my bike and couldn't have wished for anything better. Huge thanks to Matt and the team for all your fantastic customer service.
Well looked after
Bike didn’t need much assembly, but something wasn’t quite right. Took it to Halfords and they identified a bent derailleur, which E-Bikes happily then sent a replacement for, next day.
And despite my lack of receipts also happily refunded me for the shop work, with a little extra for the hassle. Can’t ask for more than that.

I found a pedal car which I knew my son wanted, it was cheapest on line with this company, it arrived on time as promised and we had it here for his birthday! They use an overnight delivery service, I did not get notifications until this shipped but once in transit I definitely did! I had to get some assistance a couple of times and customer service were really professionally and friendly, offering solutions and keeping an excellent customer care. Much appreciated!
Fab service
Fab service! Ordered over the weekend and my parcel arrived on Tuesday on an overnight service. Unfortunately, there was a picking error and the wrong item arrived. I called ebikes direct to let them know, and they quickly apologised and sent the right item which arrived Wednesday morning. My daughter is over the moon with her new bike!

We recently ordered two bikes from e-bikes direct and we were so impressed by their customer service ( especially Garf)
Excellent communication and speedy delivery. Our bikes were delivered within 48 hours of ordering. We only needed to put the pedals on and straighten the handlebars. The batteries were fully charged on delivery

Buy yourself a touch up pen for £5
The bike which we ordered as birthday present came damaged with paint crack and dents.
Not a great courier and bad packaging not protecting it properly or it wasn't check before it being send.
Customer service suggested that we should buy ourselves a touch up paint and fix it ourselves nicely responded if we should buy ourselves a hammer to fix dents.
So now we ended up with broken bike which we paid full price or send it back and get a money back a month later maybe and no present/money for gift?
Save yourself a hassle and buy elsewhere.
It's all good if you don't have problems but you can see what is the company is like once you get some issues.
1st class experience
1st class experience, customer service was swift efficient and professional. Delivery was very quick. We were kept updated at all times and were given a discount on protective wear as we ordered our bikes in bulk. will defo use this company again in the future.
Excellent Experience
We’ve just bought two Oxygen e-bikes, an S-Cross CB and ST, from E-Bikes Direct in a classic his ‘n’ hers retirement purchase. It’s not the first time I’ve bought a bike from them however. I bought my first e-bike from e-Bikes Direct back in the spring of 2017 when I bought a Raleigh Motus for commuting.
So, why is it still so exciting to receive a new bike even when you’re in your early 60s?? Who knew, perhaps that child in us isn’t that far under the surface. And having them delivered to your door increases the excitement as you then get that Christmas Day feeling when you open the box 😊
First things first though, the bikes arrive ‘very’ well wrapped against any potential damage in transit. I was initially surprised they were not in the original manufacturers box but then realised that E-Bikes Direct do more than just ship the bikes to you, they do a full check and build of the major parts with a comprehensive check list of what has been done, leaving only the pedals to fit and the handlebars to straighten. And to make that process even easier they supply a Y-Shaped Hex key (4mm, 5mm, and 6mm) and a 15mm & 18mm spanner (Although this may be unique to Oxygen rather than with every bike)
Now, I was a little nervous about ordering bikes online, especially as E-Bikes Direct are about 230 miles away from where I live. However, after doing a lot of research about which bikes were going to be right for us I just had a few questions which they were able to help me with before placing the order. Also, my experience back in 2017 meant that I knew that if there were any problems with the bike/s they would do all they can to solve and rectify it. They sent new parts and paid for a local bike shop to replace an item last time so am confident they would do the same now – although I’m pleased to say I can’t see any faults with these bikes so far.
And finally, their prices are indeed very competitive so worth a look and a chat.

Terrible company
Terrible company bought my granddaughter a scooter it came with no parts to assemble sent it back but had to chase and go through PayPal claims to get my refund even though I was assured that my refund had been processed (which it wasn’t)

Amazing after sales care
I bought two kiddies sewing machines for Christmas and my granddaughters opened them on Boxing Day. There was a problem with one. I phoned the company the next day , sent a video of the problem and have a replacement here on 30th December . I was kept informed throughout . Obviously I would have preferred not to have a problem in the first place but the way they dealt with it was amazing. Thank you e-bikes direct. Would definitely buy from you again
The worst experience I've ever had
The worst experience I've ever had, the delivery guy said he tried to deliver 3 times but all 3 times I was at home and they didn't contact me, so I called them so they could resolve it and they said they couldn't do anything. I don't recommend this site and the customer service is horrible
