I don’t recommend ordering from Oxford and Rose. I ordered using vitality discount and they sent much cheaper flowers (which they admitted to after back and forth) with some already brown on delivery.

After insisting I was refunded I got a 50-% refund which doesn’t make up for a disappointing gift. They said that they normally contact customers about substituting stems and it was an unavoidable need but I wasn’t contacted at all.

Given they were sent the day after ordering and multiple premium flowers were swapped for gerbera and other filler flowers it’s hard to see how they ran out in less than 24 hours.

What a great place to buy flowers from!

The selection of flowers is wonderful, the bouquets are composed with refined taste and when the flowers are delivered they are so fresh it seems they have been just picked!

The delivery deserves mentioning on its own!! An elegant box was delivered to my doorstep. The flowers were securely fastened inside the box which ensured they were not at all damaged even if the Royal Mail worker managed to turn them upside down.

The Customer support team was extremely efficient when Royal Mail lost my flowers. They immediately sent out a replacement bouquet and didn't leave me disappointed. Thank you very much!

I would always recommend your service!

Terrible Terrible Terrible

Ordered flowers for mother's day and they arrived dead. I complained and was given a voucher to order again, I ordered again and this order arrived on 1/4 with 50% of the flowers dead. I complained and was offered £10 voucher (fraction of the cost) as some of the flowers were ok. I stated a wanted full refund, but they declined because I used a voucher (a voucher I used because they could fulfil the order) Appalling service and even worse flowers!

Shop elsewhere- you are going to be disappointed if you don’t

Flowers are poor quality and do not last. This company take no responsibility for late delivery and have no interest in trying to correct any issues. Take your money elsewhere I would recommend Freddie’s flowers. Better quality in every way. Like others I only tried this company because of the link up with Vitality. Vitality should stop partnering with companies like this

Great quality, excellent customer service

I wanted to share my honest experience of Oxford and Rose. Initially, there was a system glitch which resulted in my flowers being delivered to the wrong address… however, Jonathan resolved the matter very quickly for me, and a new order was promptly delivered. The quality of both bouquets was excellent. Really beautiful presentation, and exceptional value. I favour M&S when buying flowers as I’ve never been let down by the quality, but I will be using Oxford and Rose again. I liked the personal service, very fast response (even on a Sunday) and that they delivered on their promise (no pun intended). Thank you!

do not waste your time or money

Just an awful company! i dont make any complaints as i dont often believe in them but i hope this message helps someone save their money and more importantly their time. Flowers are great, customer service virtually none existent.. even if you work for a company that gets 50% off the flowers... just not worth it. buy local or buy super market flowers

Ordered some flowers for Mother’s Day…

Ordered some flowers for Mother’s Day using vitality discount. As with other reviews I have had several issues and should have checked reviews beforehand…. First bunch which was supposed to be made up of tulips and roses came as a bunch of Gerberas and Lillie’s - my mum is allergic to Lillie’s and I would never have ordered these hence the initial complaint. I was told a second bunch of the correct flowers would arrive Wednesday. Nothing arrived so informed them and was told to ‘rest assured something would be there by Friday/Saturday due to stock issues’. Today a bunch of basic pink roses I could have probably brought in the supermarket arrived. No tulips, foliage (eucalyptus was included in the stock photo).

Poor service - avoid at all costs whether it’s 50% off or not as I probably could have gotten better quality flowers at a cheaper price in store somewhere.

I’m very impressed with Oxford & Rose. My flowers that I ordered for my fiancees birthday arrived exactly on time and in pristine condition.
The hand-tied bouquet was beautifully presented in a sturdy, high-quality box that kept everything secure. Using the Vitality partnership makes this premium service more affordable than other suppliers.

First order with them as Vitality…

First order with them as Vitality offered the membership with 50% off, so I thought I’d order my mum some flowers to be delivered today. Judging by the dispatch email received last night, they shipped them too late for my chosen date and now the royal mail won’t deliver until Tuesday.

I won’t use them again, and honestly, the membership “benefit” isn’t worth it despite it being free for Vitality members. Don’t bother, the flowers are most like already worth what they claim is “50% off”, much like a DFS “Sale”.

I used the service to get my mum flowers. I asked for them to be delivered on the Friday before Mother’s Day to ensure she had them on the day. No flowers arrived for the day - very very disappointing.Buyer be very very aware before using this service….

I ordered two bunches of roses

I ordered two bunches of roses, one I paid extra for “assured delivery”, on the understanding of it arrived late I would be offered a refund. The assured bunch arrived a day late and the heads were mostly dying. The chocolates were fine though. The other bunch arrived on time and were ok.

I have emailed on 13th, 23rd and 27th Feb, 9th Mar to claim my refund. As at 15th Mar, all have been completely ignored. Not a great aftercare of experience, haven’t delivered on the service I’ve paid for, won’t use again and wouldn’t recommend.

Have rated 2 stars to be fair, on the basis that one delivery was ok. If it wasn’t for that, it would be lower.

Total and utter rubbish. Avoid.

Absolute rubbish. Was tempted by the vitality discount, but that was a huge mistake. The roses turned up half dead and have lasted about 2 days. I have contacted them but have not received a reply and I don't think I will, despite them mentioning many times in their emails about how I should if I'm not happy.

Stay well away from Oxford & Rose. Extremely overpriced for what you receive. The order arrived damaged inside the box, with poor‑quality, crushed flowers. What was advertised on the website as a large bouquet turned out to be just two saved carnation stems and two rose stems. I received no response to my complaint, either by email or via chat. I was asked to provide photos for the relevant department, but nothing further happened. Avoid, and if you’re a Vitality customer, don’t fall for this as many of us have!!!

Awful value for money **update: Great resolution**

After providing a negative review on Oxford and Rose’s website, the CEO, Jonathan Hackner, contacted me directly to apologise and discuss the issues I experienced. He refunded the full cost of the original order by crediting it toward a second purchase.
The second order was significantly better and met expectations. While I appreciate the direct response and resolution, the initial experience - particularly given it was for Valentine’s Day, was incredibly disappointing.
However given the response and second order I think there's certainly potential and I'll probably give them one more chance in a couple months - clearly consistency and reliability currently need to improve.

Awful value for money - paid £36 for the ember bunch which was supposedly 50% off - completely underwhelmed, literally much better quality flowers in tescos of all places… not worth more than £20 (and that’s generous)… hilariously the same bunch is now on the website for £23 @ 50% off… shame on you Vitality for partnering with such a poor quality vendor, only gave them a go due to a promotion through health insurance.

I fell for the snazzy logo and well presented website!

I thought I was getting a good deal but quality of roses was awful! I’ve seen FAR better in the local supermarket!! There wasn’t anything quality about them and they looked nothing like the picture on the website! Also the website stated ‘ finished with a refined ribbon, the bouquet is presented in our signature luxury gift box.’ The box they arrived in was VERY thin nothing luxury about it and was bendy. Also, no sign of any ‘refined ribbon’.

I also opted the bouquet to be accompanied a ‘CARD’, this turned out to be simply printed on paper! I could have done a better job with my own printer!

Great concept, but very cheap and nasty execution!!

Would not recommend to anyone or buy from ever again!
