False information to get you to sign up!
When I was looking for a training provider to take my Maths GCSE as an external candidate, I looked to see where I could take my exam. Their records arent up to date! So dont be fooled by this! I contacted at least 4 places only to be told - they dont take external candidates. Unless you are willing to travel miles - I wouldnt use this training company at all.
They really dont care, theyve made their money out of you.
My advice would be - go elsewhere!!
So after reading their reply - they as a provider really dont care after taking over £300 to fill their pockets and not help their students. I tried contacting at least 10 exam places and none of them took external candidates. Therefore these places shouldnt be even listed. Just to clarify that the website I had was printed on the work books, it isnt easy to get hold of someone to help you. This is appaling and they should feel ashamed of themselves. Yes I was told about an exam centre in Southampton and I messaged them but they replied saying they didnt do it.
Yet another uncaring, disloyal company who are just interested in taking your money and not giving anything back.

I’m sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, I would like to clarify a few points to ensure an accurate understanding of the situation.
Firstly, you did not purchase your course directly from Oxford Home Schooling. You purchased your course from the Distance Learning Centre, for whom we provide tuition services. Therefore, any information you may have seen on our website would not have influenced your buying decision.
That said, as part of our commitment to supporting our students, our Exams Officer reached out in October to remind all students, including yourself, to book their exams. This communication included a link to our centre finder to help identify suitable exam centres.
When you contacted us on November 18th for assistance, our Exams Officer promptly responded the next day, recommending a trusted centre in Southampton, just 45 minutes from your location. Guidance on using the centre finder map was also provided.
On November 22nd, you informed us that the Southampton centre no longer accepted private candidates. Upon verifying with the centre, it was confirmed that they do still accept private candidates and have an online entry form available on their website. Unfortunately, by the time you reached out to them in December, they were fully booked for your subject.
To further assist, our Exams Officer provided a list of alternative centres, including one in Wimbledon. We understand that these options may not have aligned with your personal preferences or travel arrangements. While we strive to make the process as seamless as possible, we cannot control the logistical factors such as travel, childcare, or timing, which can vary for each student.
We care deeply about our students and are always available to provide support and guidance throughout their learning journey. I regret that, despite our efforts, we were unable to meet your expectations on this occasion.
If you have further concerns or would like to discuss this in more detail, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.

Excellent home study provision with interesting engaging materials, well structured lessons and helpful guidance from tutor. My daughter really enjoys her studies and is consequently very motivated to learn.

This is our third year with Oxford Home…
This is our third year with Oxford Home Schooling. Our daughter started in year 8, now she's just started her igcses.
I think the website is well laid out, gives you all the details. The enrollment system is quick and easy. Our daughter really likes using the physical course books.
The teachers are great. You can get a call if you don't understand something and we've found the feedback for assignments is very thorough.
We did have an issue with a teacher but it was resolved very quickly. The admin staff are very attentive and you get assigned a student advisor.
For us Oxford Home Schooling has made the transition from mainstream schooling to home easy and stress-free, our daughter loves it she can work at her own pace, organise her own time which means she has plenty of time for her art work.
I would whole heartedly recommend Oxford Home Schooling to anyone.

An excellent studying experience
I've just achieved my first A-level at the age of 43. I'm so glad I chose OOL!
Everyone at OOL has been great throughout my two years of study. Every piece of work was quickly marked by my tutor, who then arranged a time to go over things in more detail on the phone. My tutor was lovely, which may not be the first thing you look for in a course provider - but trust me, when you start feeling the pressure it can make all the difference!
When it came to submitting coursework and booking exams, OOL were thorough in making sure that I had all the information I needed and all the right paperwork. As an added complication, I needed to use a word processor in my exams - the team took this in their stride and liaised with the exam centre to ensure that everything was in place.
Studying for an A-level around work and other commitments has certainly not been easy, but with OOL I feel that I have been backed all the way by people who really care about my success. Sadly OOL does not offer the next A-level which I would like to study. I can only hope that my next provider will be as wonderful as they have been.

Very Affordable Home Learning
I was skeptical at first but I am so glad we decided to use Oxford Home Learning. The tutors are very proactive. The course materials are very good and easy to follow. Above all very friendly staff and affordable home learning. My only regret was not doing earlier. Thanks so much Oxford Home Learning, my child is very happy now.
