Friendly staff, remarkable service.
My parcel reached Auckland in less than 24 hours. The good thing is they alerted me that it might take a bit longer but they will try their best to deliver it within 24 hours, and they did!

Interesting what people say about the cost, I had a large box , .64 x .66 x .3M 25kg to Dunedin , Mainfreight was $217, Pack and send was $76.50 ?

They charge you a fortune, trash your items, and take no responsibility.
I had to pay obscene amount of money for a straight forward postage and got a terrible service.
Don’t use packandsend and dhl.

I had to shift abroad this month and used Pack and Send to ship my things.

I am very sad from my experience with packandsend, and will provide my story in reviews so that at least people can be aware of the fact that their shipping is going to get delivered ruined with high probability of losing things through wholes in packaging. The only reply you will get from Packandsend that they won’t take responsibility. This is just appalling.

I asked how things should be packed prior to sending, followed their instructions. On the day when I dropped off my ten boxes and suitcase I again asked if all is good with my boxes and packing, and I got the answer that everything was good with it.
They accepted, also sold you a warranty “in case something happens to your items we will reimburse you”.
They also promise you to keep you updated on all shipping statuses.

In reality there is no communication from the day of drop off, I had to chase them to at least get my tracking number.

My shipping items were split and got delivered with different delays in a terrible state.
I politely emailed Packandsend with photos and detailed explanations of the whole shipping story, and the only thing they did is just excuses and taking no responsibility.

My packages of my shipping were damaged like someone has been playing football with them, and some of the boxes were split open.
Surely there is a common sense of how much damage can be done to it during postage, handling and delivery.

I receive different deliveries by different couriers and non ever delivered boxes in such trashed state, which was just beyond acceptable.

What if my things would have fallen out from those cut-open boxes? They probably would just come up with another excuse by saying that the box itself has been delivered so it’s not their responsibility.

Two of my personal items were broken. When they were packed in layers of bubble wrap and placed in the middle of boxes lined with books to minimise the potential damage.

I would have found another way of posting my belongings if i would have known that i would receive them in that state and with such delays.

I wouldn't recommend Pack and Send at all. I was charged $170.00 for a 1.2kg box, 19cmx16cm from Auckland City to Rarotonga. I even took it to their warehouse so pickup is not included in price. When I checked up on delivery, my package was not picked up until 5pm! And it took 10 days to deliver, yet there were daily flights to Raro. The staff were friendly, delivery service and charges unacceptable. Never again. Definitely lessons learned here 😡😡😡

The communication was excellent, speedy and helpful, the packing of our China Cabinet was superb and it was delivered in one piece as hoped for.

I have just sent a parcel from Auckland to Queenstown using Pack & Send Avondale. The service was brilliant, from the response to my query to my parcel being delivered was faultless. They picked up the parcel after I called to say I was home but could only be there for a couple of hours. I offered to change to the next day but he (sorry didn't catch his name) said don't worry that he would get Sharon to drop by in the next 30 mins. It turned my bad day into a good day especially when Sharon turned up earlier. Two days to get from Auckland to Queenstown - very good!!

Recently had a package shipped from Dunedin to Auckland which took more than two weeks to arrive -- I could have had it shipped from the US in less time! Had no communication whatsoever in this time, they never even contacted me to let me know that it was ready for pickup.
Customer support didn't care, "due to our freight policy, we can not guarantee the transit time". I probably would have been ok with the transit time had you let me know it would take might take that long, or had given me any updates at all.
I am very unimpressed and will be using a different company in future.

I called a store in Newmarket to inquire about an estimate for a surfboard to be sent to Dunedin. He asked me to give him metric dimensions, which I needed to calculate from inches which took less than a minute. The representative was very arrogant and impatient and said he can't wait for me to calculate - that I should have those ready before I call. Maybe I should expect that he has an estimate ready for me before I call, not having to wait fro him to calculate it?

We have sent two parcels using Pack and Send, one was a large painting with a fragile frame, the latest was a small piece of furniture. On both occasions the item was very well wrapped, made it safely from one destination to another within NZ in good time, and in perfect condition. We have been very happy with their service.

Excellent service in a difficult situation.
I booked with them a complete service, packing and shipping, New Zealand to Italy, they have been really professional in every step.
Considering the service I evaluate excellent also the price.

Outstanding service from Tauranga hub. I received a personal phone call within 30 minutes of posting a quote request online. We sent a fragile piece of Fine Art overseas. Richard really knows his stuff. Any artist or collector can reliably ship this way, the packaging was impressive, the support through the documentation process -outstanding.

Solid, but still has some flaws. It took them 2 months instead of 1 to ship my package... but at least it came in one piece :)

5 month later, and our package still haven't arrived.

Always the same reply when writing them, "The package will soon be shipped"
