I felt inclined to leave a review for Pagurek, to inform others ahead of making purchases from this company, following my experiences.

First order I made was for a bespoke flashing over a large door. I provided detailed drawings and specification to avoid any disputes or mis-understandings. Price and comms was good so I proceeded with the order which turned up a few weeks later as promised. I quickly discovered that the butt joint profile didn't fit so reported immediately back to Pawel at Pagurek. I was told that the butt joint was to be fitted externally (and therefore visible) and to try it that way. I reported back that this was not how a but joint worked, and that they are not intended to be visible as it would leak, and would look awful. Pawel (the director) eventually backed down and sent a replacement part which worked. It is unclear whether he just doesn't know what he is doing or whether he was just trying to get away with an erroneous fabrication. The flashing isn't perfect as the 2 parts are very slightly different size and profile, but for the price it is good enough.

2nd order I placed was much larger for a series of parapet capping's. Again, I provided detailed drawings and specification to avoid any disputes or mis-understandings. The order arrived a few weeks later, and this time I discovered that the lengths provided were not in line with my requirements (5 parts were wrong out of 8). I promptly reported back to request that either the correct parts were re-manufactured and sent (I worked out the absolute minimum required by working out which of the erroneous lengths I could make use of), and secondly I offered that if he wanted me to make use of what had been sent, I woudl have to cut down and refinish them at my cost and time and accept a much smaller cladding overhang than is recommended, then I would require a sizeable discount to reflect this. Pawel responded saying that I should cut down the flashings and refinish them at my own cost, and no discount would be offered, nor was there any apology. I was shocked! After about a month of getting nowhere with Pawel I decided he wasn't going to be helpful so my fitter modified the capping's and refinished them at a cost to me, and I have to accept that my cladding may start staining earlier than it should.

I have logged this with Santander who are reviewing the issue to see if they can get a clawback on the cash, or a partial clawback, but I expect a lengthy process. Pagurek sent me a refund of just 10% a few weeks ago as a "goodwill gesture" which I rejected as insufficient. I ordered a bespoke product for a reason, so I didn't have to accept site modifications and rough finishing.

Be very careful with this company, as their attention to detail with bespoke products is not good enough, and if there is a problem, it is turned into your problem.
