At Pal & Leo, we believe breakfast and snacking should be both delicious and good for you. Founded in Amsterdam, our mission is to reinvent everyday classics by removing the things you don’t need – like refined sugar, grains, and seed oils – and replacing them with high-quality, organic ingredients that truly fuel your body. Our granolas and chunks are crafted with nuts, seeds, and natural sweeteners like dates, making them gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and packed with protein and healthy fats to keep you energized throughout the day. Whether you enjoy them with yogurt in the morning, as a topping on your smoothie bowl, or straight from the bag, Pal & Leo makes it easy to enjoy a moment of real food pleasure. We started small, baking by hand in Amsterdam, and today you can find Pal & Leo in leading retailers across the Netherlands and the UK – from Planet Organic in London to STACH and Landmarkt in Amsterdam – and we’re proud to be part of a movement proving that healthy doesn’t have to mean boring. Pal & Leo is for people who love food, care about their health, and refuse to compromise on taste.

Thanks Carolina, love to read this!!!
I received a little something to make…
I received a little something to make up for the lack of chunks in my granola and I couldn’t be happier. I had asked to also be sent the matcha variety alongside the chocolate one, and I ended up receiving two of each 😵 such generosity I wouldn’t have expected, but it’s much appreciated ❤️❤️
As for the quality, the matcha variety is excellent. I like how there are goji berries, hemp seeds and cashew nuts in it, and hazelnuts to top it off. My family own a hazelnut orchard in Turkey, which is common in the region they’re from, and the delicate flavor of the hazelnuts in this Pal & Leo granola instantly took me back to summers of helping the hazelnut pickers pick hazelnuts in the orchard.
I frankly love this brand and I’ve even started bingeing on it a little - and it’s good to know this is a binge that’s good for me. ;-)
Thank you, Pal & Leo

Reading this absolutely made our day ❤️
Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful message. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed both flavors, and especially that the Matcha granola brought back such special memories of your family's hazelnut orchard. Moments like that are exactly why we care so much about the ingredients we choose and the products we create.
We’re also very happy to hear that this batch met your expectations. We always do our best to make things right when something falls short, and your kindness and understanding throughout the process have been truly appreciated.
Thank you again for your support and for being part of the Pal & Leo community. Messages like yours genuinely mean the world to us!

Hi Aurore,
Thank you so much for your review—we’re really glad to hear you loved it!
We’re sorry that the delivery took a bit longer than expected. With several public holidays in the Netherlands over the past few weeks, shipments outside the country may have experienced slight delays.
To make up for this, we’ve sent you a discount code via email for your next order. We hope you enjoy it, and we look forward to serving you again soon!

Hi Laura, thank you for such a sweet review! We are super happy to hear!
Delicious but dangerous
While the granola is delicious, it is dangerous. No warning on packaging that it contains fragments (likely walnut shell) which are as hard as rock. Almost broke a tooth biting down on a piece of granola this morning from their dark chocolate range. It's happened more than once discovering very hard pieces in the mix. My tooth has ached all day since this experience. Not worth the risk. Needs to improve quality control.
Updated review. The company has since contacted me about my experience and reassured me that they are updating their quality control process and labelling. I do recommend the product for its amazing taste. Nonetheless, I advise caution about walnut shells, like one would be when eating pitted olives.

Hi Bart,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience — we're truly sorry to hear this happened.
While we're glad you enjoy the taste of our granola, we’re very concerned to hear about the hard fragments you encountered, and especially that it caused discomfort to your tooth. That is absolutely not the experience we want anyone to have with our products. We take quality and safety very seriously, and feedback like yours helps us identify where we need to improve.
We would really appreciate the opportunity to look into this further with our quality team. If you’re willing, please contact us at hello@palandleo.com with the product name, batch/lot number, and where you purchased it. This will help us investigate thoroughly and prevent this from happening again. Of course, we’d also like to make this right for you.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we’re very sorry for the inconvenience and discomfort caused.
Kind regards,
Pal & Leo Team
