Prisen stiger pludselig med flere hundrede Euro, når kontrakten skal underskrives.

I rented a car from Panek at Wrocław Airport and unfortunately I have to share a very negative experience. The whole process was far from professional, and the final outcome was extremely unpleasant.

The customer service at the counter was terrible. The employee barely spoke, simply handed over the keys, and pointed towards the parking area without any explanation. When I got to the car, I was immediately disappointed – the vehicle was dirty. The windows were foggy on the inside, and the front windshield had marks and residue from a navigation device. On the outside, I noticed several scratches, which I documented with photos right away.

When returning the car at 4 a.m., after the office was already closed, I took additional photos in the parking lot. I had to park in a spot belonging to a neighboring company because all Panek spaces were taken.

Then came the worst part. I received a report claiming the car was damaged and returned dirty, and I was charged 1000 PLN. The supposed scratch identified by Panek’s “experts” was said to be at the front of the car. Yet in their own photos it clearly appears on the side of the vehicle and is only about 5 cm long. I am certain I did not cause it.

As for the “dirty” condition – the car drove about 500 km. I returned it at 4 a.m. Where was I supposed to find a car wash at that time? Normal signs of use should be included in the rental cost.

In my opinion, Panek is clearly trying to charge customers unfairly, taking advantage of nighttime returns and unclear reports. I absolutely do not recommend renting a car from this company. Avoid them at all costs.

Online Buchung hat immer sehr gut funktioniert. Alle meine Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und kompetent. Ich wurde auf die neue Straßenverkehr Regelung aufmerksam gemacht. Ich konnte nicht rechtzeitig das Auto zurück geben ( 2 Stunden zu spät), weil ich angerufen habe und den Grund erklärte, mir wurden keine extra Gebühren berechnet. Ich habe schon öfters bei Panek ein Auto gemietet und werde das auch in der Zukunft machen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden darum 5 Sterne.

Stay away – especially if you're from England.
Today I arrived at Gdańsk Airport and there was nobody at the desk. I called them, and after a while, someone finally showed up. After giving all my personal information, the attendant called his boss and was advised to charge me an extra £600 because I am not an EU citizen. They claimed I needed an international driving permit in addition to my UK licence and passport.
I walked away and got a car from Europcar at the kiosk on the side. No other rental company had such a rule in place – they are scammers. Please stay away and don’t be fooled by the cheap prices.
I will be getting in touch with Booking.com, as this company is ripping people off.

I would give 0 if this option was available.
I use booking website to get car from them with payment made upfront. Showed up for pic up and I was told that I need to pay another 150PLN to get the car or I can go somewhere else. No manager on site, no helpline, no willingness to help from staff.
Upon return I was charged for returning dirty car. I used cat twice go get from airport to hometown and back. I was only car user and driver.

Ce sont tout simplement des voleurs !!!!! Voiture récupérée sale donc impossible de voir s'il y avait des rayures. Je la rends impeccable et ils me prélèvent la somme de 4000 zloty alors qu'ils m'avaient bloqué la somme de 2000 zloty sous prétexte de rayures qui sont de la saleté sur les photos.

They made me purchase the most expensive insurance, which covered everything. They said they wouldn’t rent me a car otherwise because I have a British driving licence. Later, I accidentally scratched the door but didn’t think it was a big issue—luckily, I had full coverage insurance. However, two months later, they charged my credit card £1,600. When I contacted them, they claimed my insurance was no longer valid because I didn’t report the accident to the police.

Nie polecam, najgorsza firma z jakiej korzystałem.

Bueno, por donde empezar…
He tardado 7 meses en recuperar 495 €, que se depositaron como fianza del alquiler de un vehículo con PANEK en Praga.
Nunca me había pasado nada igual, menos mal que hice un video con la fecha y hora, tanto en la recogida como en la entrega del vehículo.
Esta “empresa” por decir algo…, cuando VISA le reclamo la cantidad depositada por mi tarjeta de crédito, presento una factura de una reparación de daños del vehículo con el mismo importe de la fianza solicitada y con fecha del mismo día de la recogida. (Vamos, una estafa en toda regla).
El problema fue que mi viaje se contrató con un paquete cerrado por Lastminute.com (hotel, vuelos y alquiler de vehículo) y no contemple el tipo de chiringuito que estaba contratando para el alquiler de un vehículo.
Está claro que no me volverá a pasar.
Espero que ayude a alguien con mi experiencia.

Worst rental company won't recommend anyone

ACHTUNG Versteckter Betrug! Die Firma buchte 1400€ von der Kreditkarte meines Lebensgefährten ab wegen eines kleinen Kratzers an der Radkappe, der wsl nicht von uns ist. Man bekommt keine Dokumente, keine Rechnung. Werden uns an unseren Anwalt wenden. Vermeiden und bei einem seriösen Anbieter buchen. (Deren Schalter ist auch nicht wie bei den seriösen am Flughafen sondern in einem shady Hintergebäude)

el negocio no es alquilar un coche.. esta estafa piramidal está bloqueada con tu dinero y no vale unos 1800 euros!!! ¡Siempre tienen un RASTREADOR O ALGO ASI PIRATA que dice que están actuando como si la policía fueran-- es totalmente ILLEGAL! solo lo hacen con los turistas que vuelven a su pais. ¡denuciar son ladrones y inmunes cuando te vasesperan 2 meses y te cargan la totalidad de la fianza-- No alquilan coches roban fianza!! ES REAL HUIR DE ELLOS!!!

La empresa no explica con claridad el contrato para sacar un sobre sueldo quedándose con la fianza alegando daños en el vehículo por ir a mayor velocidad que la de la vía. Sin homologar GPS y sin más explicaciones te estafan 1400€ que cargan un mes después para pillarte por sorpresa.
Nos entregaron un vehículo inferior al reservado ,sin compensación ninguna, y obligando a devolverlo lavado, cosa que no vi en ninguna otra compañía.
Argumentará cualquier cosa para no devolver la fianza.ESTAFADORES! dan una mala imagen del país tan bonito que es Lituania.
No contraten con esta empresa es un fraude!!!

Scammers!!! Please avoid. Their are just trying get money out of you!! Piece of sh@t for ruined my holidays.

Be very weary that when you collect the Car they will not explain to you that you require to return the Car Spotless inside and out. So even if you are on Holiday in a foreign country you are expected to spend your time either looking for Car wash or to half a day cleaning the car yourself.
Of course you could also have the privilege of paying even more money to the company to clean the car for you.
Its a hire car it should be included in the rental cost!!!!!!!!!!

Stay away, please don’t risk your money and your health! We have rented a car in Kaunas, Lithuania, on pick up it was dirty and smelled like cigarettes inside, but we are the type of people that don’t like cause a fuss, so we just took it! On return, a month and a half later the whole deposit was taken from our credit card, no explanation. After querying, we are not getting told it’s for speeding, which is absolute nonsense! They emailed some shady pdf attachment claiming it’s ‘evidence’. Stay away from this company!! Scammers is not the word!
