Not one person got our holiday cards

Not a single person (all over the country) received our holiday cards that we had sent directly from paperculture. We have people literally spanning the whole country and nobody has received anything.

Never showed.

I ordered my holiday cards on 12/11, bypassed the proof stage so that they would get to me by 12/15 (their confirmed arrival date when i placed the order). It is now 12/22 and the order is lost by their chosen USPS carrier. I have left 5 voicemails and submitted a form online too and no one will get back to me. HORRIBLE dont use them. it is discounted so heavily for a reason...

The most frustrating photo card company....

The ONLY reason I come back to this company is because all of my recipient addresses are stored in their system and they will address the envelopes for free. I hate that, unlike every other photo card company, you cannot edit your own card if you want any changes from the original design. They give you two free "professional" edits, but every single time, no matter how specific my request is, they do something that is clearly not what I asked for. Then, once you ask for that first edit, you cannot make any changes to the card on your own unless you ask for another "professional" edit, and of course you are now out of free edits so they try to charge you $20 extra. Every. Single. Year. They also now try to automatically charge you extra for special font on your envelopes, unless you go to a pop up window and scroll to the very bottom and select "plain." This all just screams that they are trying to scam any extra money out of you that they can.

I’ve ordered Christmas cards from Paper…

I’ve ordered Christmas cards from Paper Culture before and they used to arrive on time. However, last year I placed my order at the end of November, and the cards didn’t arrive until December 24th! The shipping date was changed four different times. Their customer service is basically nonexistent.I emailed, left messages, and only got a response after tagging the CEO on X. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration.

They are absolutely a scam.

I received an email from them stating that I had placed an order…I did not. So I wrote them back asking if there was an order associated with my email address and if so to provide the last four digits of the card being used to verify if someone had used my card. They have been radio silent for over two weeks at this point, and I have sent them two follow up emails threatening legal remediation all to no avail. I would avoid this company at all costs - a “company” whose customer service is nonexistent is a fraud and a scam. 0/5 stars.

Paper Culture reached out and reviewed the print quality. I received a reprint of my order and the print quality was much improved! It is still a softer print which I understand and expected due to the nature of the paper but the color is actually representative of the photo originals. I will definitely give them another try in the future.

I was drawn to Paper Culture's use of recycled paper and tree planting program. However, I was really disappointed with the quality of prints I received. I understand that the photos are printed on non gloss paper so they wouldn't have the look of standard photo prints but the color looked washed out on all the prints. Additionally, they did not ship in an envelope that was marked to not bend so of course the person delivering my mail bent the envelope to fit in my mailbox and the 8x10 prints I ordered were bent. Paper Culture should be marking their packaging appropriately. While I appreciate their mission, I will likely never order from them again.

do not use them

Ordered expedited and it took them over a week just to make a label. It took them 10 days just to ship. Awful service.

no customer support and shipping not reliable

Status kept showing "preparing to ship" for 4 days, so I was expecting it to ship by the estimated date. Then they pushed back the date, and I tried to contact customer support. Calls go straight to voice mail, and the only other way to contact them is through the "contact us" form on their website...however, they take more than 48 hours to respond. After finally getting an email, I requested to cancel the order. Then a few hours later, they show "shipped" but only the label was created. Horrible customer support (pretty much none) and shipping is NOT reliable. I used to always order through Paper Culture, but I will never order through them again.

Avoid, they do not ship in time

I've used Paper Culture for the past 6 years for Christmas cards and invitations. This year they keep moving my estimated date for our Christmas cards to be shipped out. It's been moved four times already in the past week, it's impossible to reach someone to actually speak to as they don't answer their phone. If i don't get a message that they've been shipped I'm going to be requesting a chargeback through my credit card as that'll likely be the only way to get my money back.

I Always Use Paper Culture

I love Paper Culture and was so surprised to see such bad reviews! I've used them every year for holiday cards, birth announcements, etc. I found them while searching for a more sustainable option that didn't break the bank, and have always been impressed with the end product.

Don't care about repeat customers/time spent trying to help

Their website wasn't working properly (saving) and I helped them discover this. After working with them for 2+ hours they wanted me to let them do the order without me seeing it and I would have to trust what they did for my holiday cards would be correct. All they offered me for all this hassle was $20 off. Terrible company customer service.

Corporate + Family Card Order Never Received

I purchased cards for our family, and two of our businesses. I was told the order would ship on 12/6, then 12/7, then no one responded to us for days when we requested a date after the initial date had come and gone. Finally got a response and were told it would be 12/15, 12/16 at the latest, and just were told it’s now 12/23 and won’t arrive until the day before or possibly after Christmas. We now have no cards for our family or either business/corporate cards. On top the representatives offered a trite apology and the tone has been incredibly unapologetic. Do not use!!

Cheap/Chintzy looking product.

I ordered return address labels to determine the value and appearance of this vendors work before I placed an order with them. The labels were not as expected and way over priced for the product that I received. The labels are printed on a sheet of labels and the width of the label is too long and there is too much blank space on the label. These labels should have been printed on a smaller size label. I will not be able to use these labels and will be ordering from another vendor. Review date 12/28/2020
