For the purchase of a Paris apartment we researched multiple companies providing assistance with the process. We were impressed with the helpfulness and professionalism of Paris Property Group--and our trust was rewarded! From the first call with Pam, through the many visits and calls with Jennifer, the assistance was always friendly, thorough and valuable. Jennifer identified a number of possible options within our budget and was very helpful in assessing the suitability of each apartment. The referrals to Forex companies, a notaire, architect for the renovation, accountant for the taxes, and post purchase support, streamlined the process and anticipated any issues. There were no questions that Jennifer could not answer and it made a very daunting task very manageable. As Americans purchasing in Paris for the first time, we could not see taking this kind of step without assistance--and the support was invaluable. We highly recommend Paris Property Group.
We had a wonderful experience purchasing with PPG. We were not sure where we wanted to be in the city and wanted to look at a number of arrondissements, a challenging assignment for PPG. Jennifer explained the pros and cons of various areas, went to work, and showed us approximately 25 apartments in 3 days. After catching our breath and taking some time to digest, we purchased an apartment in a great area which we love.
PPG made the closing process easy with their network of professionals. We then spent several months renovating and decorating with the help of a fabulous architect/designer that PPG introduced to us.
All in, it is a complicated process that PPG made pretty easy. And, we love the apartment and spending time in our Paris getaway.
Jérôme Cacarié did an outstanding job in helping us sell our Paris apartment. He is very thorough, conscientious and helpful for clients seeking to navigate real estate transactions in France. We highly recommend him!
Jennifer Jomard is a great professional, with attention to detail for her clients. And always a pleasure to work with! I recommend Paris Property Group.
We contacted PPG in December as we decided we wanted to purchase an apartment in Paris and needed the experience and guidance PPG offered with a dose of American style customer service. In doing so, we immediately felt we were in good hands and importantly we avoided the horror stories we’ve heard from others. Books have been written about the agonies. Our experience has been a real pleasure. We developed a strong bond with the entire team and to this day we rely on PPG to help look after our property. By January we were on the ground looking for properties and made our choice. By March we were back to shop for furniture and planned the renovation, all with PPG’s help. We closed in June and started the move in and decoration process and by September we were able to start enjoying our trips more and seeing more of France and Europe from our Paris home base. In total, we visited 8 times throughout the year and we are grateful to know and work with the PPG team!
We worked with Paris Property Group to purchase a pied-à-terre in Paris in 2025. The agency was indispensable throughout the entire process. Our agent Jérôme helped us draft an offer that was accepted quickly by the seller. Each step along the way was clearly explained to us. We were connected with all the resources we needed including an introduction to a fantastic mortgage broker. As a result, we were able to secure a mortgage with a French bank which was fairly straight forward. The entire PPG team was always responsive and made the entire experience feel surprisingly easy! We couldn't have asked for better guidance and support. We highly recommend Paris Property Group to anyone looking to buy property in Paris!
I first became aware of PPG in mid-2024 when I was looking to invest in a property in Paris. I used to live in Paris and know it very well. I'd already invested in 2 co-ownership apartments in Paris, but really wanted my own place. I ended up signing a 3 month initial contract on May 23 2025 with PPG and paid them almost $2,300 to start finding properties for me. The contract contained all of my criteria, as well as my openness to "quality" properties that fell outside of my criteria. I indicated at the time of signing that I'd wave the 2 week waiting period and asked that they find listings immediately and to start sending those listings. I didn't get an initial list until July 7th (6 weeks after signing a 3 month contract)! And even then, there were only a handful of properties, most of which didn't align with my criteria. Jerôme was my assigned agent, and he was not aligned with me. It's like nothing would sink in, so it felt like starting from scratch each time we had a conversation. We had one video call which didn't accomplish anything since all the criteria was in the contract. He spent most of the time speaking in generalities about real estate in France (not much of it was actually true). Then, when I went to Paris in July (now 8 weeks after signing), and after receiving the anemic initial listings from Jerôme, I met with Jerôme at one of the co-ownership properties I invested in. We only met for about 20 minutes and he spent most of that time on a call about a different property. He was literally in my living room for "our" meeting, on the phone with someone else, while I waited. At that point, 2 months since contract signing, he had only sent me a total of 17 properties, 2 of which were not even available when he sent them and many of the others didn't even match my criteria. Additionally, when we met, I had asked Jerôme to check on two properties I'd seen in the neighborhood that I was curious about. He kept dissuading me. I had to ask him 3 times to get me info. He never did. On top of that, he began denigrating an individual who works for the company I worked with on purchasing the co-ownership apartments (Fractional France), and who I've found to be very helpful.
After that disastrous meeting with Jerôme, I later sent an email to Pamela G., the representative with whom I'd worked and signed the contract with, about my disappointment with a) PPG's progress due to Jerôme's lack of finding properties; b) Jerôme's unprofessional attitude in making disparaging remarks about an individual who represents a company I currently work with, and am happy with. Even after sending this feedback, Pamela ended up trying to put the blame on me for not being more specific or for not having ASKED Jerôme enough times about getting me information on the two apartments I had asked him about. And she also doubled down on this individual whom Jerôme was trash talking about, essentially repeating the accusations. Who needs that drama?
At that point, I decided to terminate the contract at the end of the mandatory 3 month initial phase on Aug 23, 2025. I started talking to other agents while I was still in Paris in July, and they recommended that I review the contract to make sure that PPG would no longer be a part of any property purchase transactions. I'm glad I did because there was in fact a clause in the contract, which stated that unless I "formally" terminated the PPG property search contract, via a registered letter (with return receipt for proof), then PPG would be entitled to a commission on any property I purchased, even though they would have had zero involvement. Luckily, I was able to accommodate that notification requirement via France's online postal site.
PPG never contacted me again after I sent the termination of contract effective 8/23..AND, even though we were still in contract for them to find me properties until Aug 23rd, they no longer sent any listings after the July 22nd meeting, an entire month....no new properties after that experience with Jerôme. PPG demonstrated zero interest in discussing this situation. They never offered a full or partial refund. They were not interested in retaining any customers. I came to find out that they didn't even have a brick and mortar office at the time I was in Paris, so I have no idea what their operations is. I was really disappointed, but I racked it up to an expensive lesson.
I was an all cash buyer to boot, ready to buy and PPG dropped the ball and charged me for their ineptitude.
