Parking.com - EDGEBROOK Avis 19

First time on this app but I've used a number of other app to park at metra stations. I parked a blocked away from the station and scanned the code to download the ap. But when i was ready to enter my info, it asked for license plate instead of parking spot number. This app then should be for side streets where there's no parking spot number!

I got a ticket
I lost the ticket
I tried to pay
Since I didn't have my case # I couldn't pay
I sent an email asking what it was so I could pay
They blew me off and never responded
They sent me to collections for a $27 debt I tried to pay
I got really pissed
I wrote a 1 star review

1. hard to find zone # on app if I am running late for train & don't write it down or scan.
2. Don't like the fact that I can't pay with a credit card at the Edgebrook station.
3. For some reason I can't load my credit card on the app.

Why is the surcharge now Tripled from 2023?
I like the app but I will not continue using iit if the surcharge remains....its ridiculous

Difficult to complete the purchase. Completing sale stage froze. Took four tries on three different devices to finally finish the purchase.

Fix your app so it defaults to a full day parking at Metra parking like all other parking apps do instead of making me manually enter it. So I don’t have to deal with a ticket.

The app is not mobile friendly and defaults to hourly parking even though the price is for all-day.

Multiple times received tickets on window despite having paid via the app and had to dispute it

Was easy to do. I. Have been parking there for year's even before paid parking. It's not clear if you can over night park.

I got a ticket in a Metra lot where there are no signs that parking is paid. Been taking the Metra for 6years. Called the number and they were no help. Tried to contest online and their website is glitching. Tried a question form - same thing. I spoke to the supervisor of the lot, it’s 3 weeks later and still no signs are up. They tucked all 3 of the pay machines into a rain station at one end and one side of the tracks that is not seen unless people walk all the way down. Which is unreasonable because the train has a car stop right by the parking section. In addition to this trap, the hidden sign says $1.50, yet it’s $2.16 for some random fees. Super misleading and shady practice

I would like to have a "wallet" option for this app

The parking app is easy to use, however, I'd like to see the option to save a parking zone for recurring payments so I don't have to scan or enter the zone every single time.

I like the convenience but I think the markup is a little steep

It was an awful experience!! I could not find my parking even though I followed the same route as mentioned in my confirmation pass. Then I called to customer care mentioned on the pass and she didn't know that parking location. Ridiculous!! I had to find another parking and pay again.
