My family gave me the task of finding a suitable buyer for the house we grew up in. A 1950s house in Dublin South-West. There were two Paul Tobin signs on the road and I thought 'I'll start by giving this Paul Tobin a call'. We met at the house soon after and I never looked back. He was honest, professional and personal with me, and in his approach to selling the house I grew up in. His knowledge of the market, his understanding of the needs of his clients, buyers and sellers, and his extensive experience made me confident that this would go well. And it did.
The house needed a re-wire and a fix-up, as old houses often do. And Paul's passion for, and impressive knowledge of, interior design came forward. He made the recommendations and I followed them, where budget allowed. And he had a network of skilled people that he could call on to work with the house and make it ready for sale. I live abroad, so Paul kept me informed as the work was carried out, with pictures, calls and video walk-throughs.
Once on the market, things went very fast, as Paul said they would. The house was presented, in a printed brochure and online, in a very honest and transparent manner. Paul managed the viewing and bidding processes in his excellent way and kept me updated as the sale progressed.
In the end, we sold our house to a young family with a history, and several relatives, in the area. They were the suitable buyers we were looking for!

I recently sold a property in Dublin with Paul Tobin Estate Agents. I've been following the market for some time and felt I knew quite a bit. I certainly knew that to attract a good price I needed to upgrade the property, which had been rented for some time.
Paul managed and oversaw every detail in preparation for sale. He advised on the current market, potential buyers, and advised on the asking price. His view on potential buyers was somewhat different to what I had anticipated given the property's central location but his market knowledge proved prescient to say the least. Paul's ability to develop relationships with potential buyers and his negotiation skills are second to none. The sale was critically important to our financial plan. Point 1 - He is an excellent sales agent and constantly put us in contact with experts even if it wasn’t always in his teams best interests (as they would be the other side of the table to him) 😊.

But far more importantly point 2 - the previous owner is the most miserable person I have ever come across and basically stole anything not bolted to the wall - the fridge, curtains and bed. When viewing the apartment we did discuss the bed but I never in a million years considered putting them in the sales contract as who on earth takes a crappy used fridge. Paul to his incredible honor took it upon himself to purchase a bed for us so we could at least get off the floor.

We've recently closed on selling our property in Dublin and I cannot speak highly enough of Paul and his wider team.
