Not a good company to order from
Not a good company to order from as I payed my money £1,800 for Four pallets of stones which was fine. I get an email back saying they were all going to be delivered on the Tuesday. So rang client to ask if they were delivered thinking they were all going to be delivered together so I took 4 men to start on the Wednesday when I got to site they had only delivered the small stones so couldn’t start work. The rest of the stones turned up 2 days later

Overall a decent experience
Overall a decent experience. A little concerned there was no confirmation email at time of ordering, but a quick call to check all was well calmed any nerves after parting with a wedge of cash for the new patio.
Promises of contact prior to delivery didn't really materialise as expected but I did get regular emails from the delivery company after dispatch. Arrived in the dark which was fun, but can't fault the effort from their partner company delivering either.
Minimal breakages in two crates and more than enough to get the job done. Slabs look great, now here's hoping they last 😁

Everyone was very helpful, when the slabs were delivered the truck driver was very accommodating 👍
Pointfix was easy to use, covered a bigger area than we had estimated and the result was great.

Slight damage and no delivery notification
The slabs arrived, as far as I can see, unbroken. However, a small number, at the top of the pallet, were chipped. In my view they should have been better protected, as the loose ones on the top were unprotected. In addition, there was no communication from the delivery company at all about the intended delivery date and time. The vehicle just turned up one day unannounced. Fortunately I was available.

overall i had a pretty positive experience…
Overall i had a positive experience cos the sales support was very helpful. And the product quality is very good.
That said, it wasn't cheap (clay brick pavers) when you factor in the cost of breaking a pallet for a modest order.
Also delivery was a pain cos i don't have access for an 18 tonner and even though i'd said that, the deliverer hadn't got the memo first time so it required re-scheduling and delay.

All is well that ends well
We had some problems with incorrect sized slabs delivered and difficulty in getting a response from the accounts department tasked to deal with this. However, all issues were eventually acceptably resolved. Otherwise, happy with quality of slabs received and careful delivery.

Everything was appalling
Everything was appalling. Promised communications didn't. Happen. Initial delivery aborted. No communication. Impossible to contact you. You never answer the phone and don't respond to your own enquiry form. Eventual delivery more than a week late, later again than promised. Shattered pallet too heavy and unstable to get off the lorry. The poor subcontracted courier had to break it open and carry each stone. Your company is an absolute shambles. Unfit to do business. I would never dream of using you again.

The setts are lovely. But...
The setts are lovely.. we ordered a lot ... around 70m2 .. But I was promised a call about the ETA days before despatch because of challenges at our end to get the product off and safely into site.
I only found out when the lorry was one hour away.
To their immense credit Paving Direct came back to me a few weeks after the delivery to follow up and understand what had gone wrong, what the implications had been at our end and to make a good will gesture.
