I recently received a parking charge from Ezee Park and attempted to appeal through their website as is my right under the IPC Code of Practice. Upon visiting their contact page, the form explicitly states: "Please note that you can't appeal your parking charge by completing this form." There is then no alternative route provided to submit an appeal.
The IPC Code of Practice requires operators to provide motorists with a clear and accessible appeals process. Ezee Park has failed to do this entirely. There is no email address, no appeal form, and no functioning mechanism to contest a charge — leaving motorists with no option but to pay a disputed charge or pursue POPLA directly without the operator stage being properly completed.
This is not acceptable and appears to be a direct breach of their obligations as an IPC member. I have reported this to the IPC separately. I would encourage anyone who has received a charge from this company to do the same at ipc-codes.co.uk.

Complete scam. Doesn't matter if you pay the for the time in the garage, they will just fine you anyway. Avoid their garages at all costs.

This is a scam car park

This is a scam car park. I received a £170 “penalty recovery” even though they never sent any letter in the first place. They cannot provide proof of delivery for the original notice — no tracking number, no copy of the letter, nothing. I don’t have the option to appeal because they claim the one-month deadline has passed, even though I never received anything.

I told them I have camera footage showing that nobody came to deliver any letter, but they don’t care and still demand payment. The car park is always empty, so clearly this is how they try to cover their costs. In the end, they deliberately avoid sending the initial letter so they can demand the full penalty plus extra fees later. 😑

Absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusting, appeal system doesn’t work , they are rude and should be ashamed of how they rip people off !! It was actually a free car park , I had a blue badge displayed anyways , my mums stoma bag leaked so had to take her home to get changed writhing 10 minutes of being in the free car park , returned 45 minutes later , to complete shopping but no return within an 3 hours apparently?? It’s completely unfair and a legitimate reason ..

I called PMPC today and spoke to Ma Brooks. She was amazingly helpful in a calm way. She informed me I had a further Parking Charge (2 months old) from a Station Car Park - which hadn't been paid because I was unaware of it. This PCN had never been received in Post. Therefore the Charge had already escalated to £170. She made me aware of it and remained calm and informative despite my annoyance at being unaware of the charge and the cost escalating. Thank you Ma.

I provided proof that i paid they said its not been paid when i clearly have transaction

Partner used my Van to go to work one…

Partner used my Van to go to work one day, added the reg in the system and still we got a parking ticket. We have been in the appeals state for over 2 months. Phoning leaves you on hold for hours on end and then hangs up. Email reply's are slow and painful by design.

Why are our hospitals using predatory parking company's with no checks and balances..

Awful people - cheating scum

Awful people. Absolutely cheating scum. A vile business. I was delivering a wheelchair to a seriously ill old lady in a home. Despite asking if I was allowed to park where I did, these people rejected the appeal. Criminal and another example of how this country continues to decline. Service and response times just awful. Threats against decent honest people. Preying on the vulnerable. Unable to contact via phone. No response to emails. They send letters out in the post as delaying tactics so that people have to pay more. I’d be ashamed to work for this mob and that is what they are. The letter was sent anonymously - not brave enough to put a name on there. Scum. They made £4m profit last year.

What a rip of company

What a rip of company. I paid for a days parking at Debden underground station by using the Paymyparking app. I received a penalty notice from them that I had not paid for parking. In my appeal I forwarded them a copy of their invoice confirming that I had made the payment . It transpires that when I made my payment I might of inadvertently pressed the Loughton parking location instead of Debden on my app. My appeal was denied . They acknowledged that I had paid for parking but denied my appeal as my payment was not for the correct location. To rub salt into the wound I wasn't even compensated for £8 that I had paid for a days parking. I have contacts within London Underground and I will find the parking contracts director for TFL about this company's sharp practise

Reported to trading standards. There us nobody you can make a fair claim to appeal, you get sent round in circles from one place to another, there is no way you can contact them, parked in a disabled bay with a blue badge but for some reason still charged a parking fee, cannot find a way to have a response to my appeal so am forced to pay to avoid extra costs. Feels like a scam amd a licence to print money as no one can contact them. Bunch of bullies and con men and women. Tried everything 6 times to attempt communication for an appeal and mysteriously all emails bounced back. Am so fed up have reported thier practice to trading standards.

Modern Day Dk Turpin

Not sure that this company cares about reviews as they appear to operate in a world where they can rob people blind without any repercussions, a modern day Dk Turpin.
Submitted an appeal to parking ticket having made an error and made an effort to reconcile it with them but was told computer says no at the time. Received an email to say it was received and would receive a response in 2 working days. Nothing came, when I called their reply was ‘we emailed you on X date’ - yes you did that was the email saying that if I didn’t get a reply in two days to call this number, as I am doing. Conversation was very circular, no concept that there should have been an email with the result of the appeal.
Long story short they have rejected my appeal, as they do most it seems as there is no regulation in the cowboy parking market. Then you only have 14 days to pay post appeal which if you don’t receive the email then you don’t know you’ve lost and need to pay. Very cunning and nasty way of doing business but apparently the Sunday Times credits them with a Best place to work’, maybe for people who have no integrity.
These horrific companies are running train station car parks up and down the country whilst the government is insisting we should use more public transport, it costs more to park for the day than it does to get the train, and 10 times if you make an error with the parking. Absolute shambles.

Shameful

This company and the people who work there should be ashamed of themselves. Appeal made as was only parking as sick child at childrens hospital. By time got out of car into wheelchair discovered was in wrong place. Straight back to car, back out of wheelchair into car and there we have it - a few minutes overstay. My appeal was to their better nature. Mistake as they don't have one. Irony of it is i could park for free outside hospital as i am a blue badge holder. To add insult to injury they charge £1.95 admin. Absolutely disgusted with this comany and their money grabbing behaviour. In other circumstances I would have gone to court but I think we have enough to.deal with right now.

I appealed to no avail

I appealed, and with no notice now have £170 to pay after a week of delay or so once forwarded mail was finally received by me . I have moved house and mail is being forwarded so it was delayed getting to me. No news from them again now that I have appealed. And I have been back to TGIF who have acknowledged I was legally there, just forgot to register my vehicle

Totally Unreasonable

Disputed a parking fine for parking at my own home!!! went through their appeal process gave them all the info requested including confirmation that I did have a permit was told would get a response within 2 days heard nothing for a month and then got a debt collection notice for £170. Telephoned and was told they could do nothing. Debt collection agency ZZPS is the same telephone number as paymyparking company that issue the fine, interesting.

I HAVE JUST SUBMITTED AN APEAL ON THEIR SITE . No confirmation to say it’s submitted
No email address to contact. Hope they would not charge me the full amount (or any charges really) as there were no restrictions were clear when I parked. The shop keeper said I was allowed to park as long as I shop in their shop .also letter dated 25/10/2024 received today to my address, but parking date was apparently 11/10/2024

Parking Charge cleared

My partner parked at the hospital and put in the number plate with one digit incorrect. I was sent a Parking Fine, appealed it, and within 24 hours it had been cleared. The emails I received from the company were very helpful and courteous.
