PBShop prints some books on demand through Amazon, but this isn't made clear in the listing. I paid almost £20 for what I believed was an officially published edition, only to find a badly printed reproduction at my door. The title isn't yet in the public domain according to copyright laws (published in the late '80s), so I don't know why PBShop would consider ripping off someone else's work.
Unfortunately, bootleg books are common on Amazon these days, and I found PBShop's page misleading. Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have purchased it!
P.S. I've just read PBShop's reply to my review, and their claim that they "reached out" to me isn't true. AVOID THIS SELLER.

This is the first time I've ordered from this company, but I was not disappointed!
I had a query about an item that was being delivered and Hannah from the support team fabulous and sent me daily messages informing me about the item in question.
She was polite and very very helpful.
I would definitely order from the company again purely based on it's customer service, which has been exceptional!

DO NOT USE THIS STORE! They did not send my item, they did not communicate with me with multiple messages. They said the item was dispatched but it never arrived and they refused to respond. But yet the item I ordered is still in stock, they just decided to raise the price of what I ordered. They have zero respect for a transaction, especially around this time of year where you're trying to order gifts with certainty that they'll arrive. Don't expect your orders to arrive at all, leave alone arrive on time. Awful company.

Ordered a book through Amazon on the 26th of October & I'm still waiting. Tammy at customer services claims that the courier made several attempts to deliver but was unable to due to the incorrect address. There is no issue with the address (we are in Spain), and we have regular deliveries from other couriers - They want me to contact their courier?? thats not my job - I have requested a refund for the second time - please buy your books elsewhere

Ordered a medical textbook from outside the UK. After a couple of weeks of delay, it never made its way to me. I went to the local post office to inquire (where they told me the package was "waiting"), and it turns out they have no record of any package addressed to me in the past weeks. After asking them several times for a reimbursement, I have yet to receive my money back. Order from them at your own risk!

Do not order books from this seller for delivery outside of the UK. I have ordered books from them via ABEbooks for delivery to Australia. I have repeatedly asked for tracking numbers but they have consistently ignored the requests. Also, they routinely update the status of ABEbooks orders as 'shipped' even when the item has not been shipped.

I was disgusted with the 'book' I received.
At a cost of over $50 it is a poorly bound collection of smudged photocopied pages, some of which are illegible. There are pages missing and the paper is very cheap and nasty. A horrible experience. I wish I could incluse pictures here of this unpleasant
product.
UPDATE MAY 28. ABE books contacted me immediately, apologised on behalf of the supplier (ABE Books used suppliers from around the world to fill their orders) and has
issued me a full refund and deleted the
particular book from their inventory. . ABE Books - five stars!

Ordered 2 books to EU, which arrived over a month later! It's very lucky that they arrived at all, as the parcel was addressed very sloppily. Of both of my names only the first 3 letters were splelled out followed by ***, the street name and number were missing altogether. Luckily my cell number was there and the courier notified me and I could supply the missing details for delivery.
CS of this company only seems to send out standardized template replies irrespective of the message sent to them.

Book didn't arrive in the ETA mentioned (possibly because of Christmas), but did arrive in good condition. Emailed customer service once to check on my order and they got back to me pretty quickly. Positive experience overall.

Ordered book, never received. Told because 'customer refused' - said not refused, never delivered. Refused to 're'-deliver, said I could order again - at a higher price!!!

Every book has arrived in pristine condition, every book has been accurately defined as to it's respective state of repair. PBSs Ff Glos are easily accesible by telephone. I call their telephone number, I am given two options, I choose one and somebody answers promptly. The staff members are always polite, always professional and they always listen. And so, for me, I give PBS top marks and will continue to engage in business with them. My regards to PBS.store, Fairford, Gloucester.

This company STINKS! I purchased a book from them on the 24th October and it was meant to be with me latest 30th October. It’s meant to be a UK company but I don’t believe that at all, if it were I would have had the item which they said is in stock. Clearly one lie after another.
So here are some recommendations for anyone wanting to purchase from this company:
1. DON’T.

3. DON’T.
I don’t trust people who lie. Especially those who take my money first and don’t deliver.
This is my honest opinion of this company and I ask that Trustpilot leave it in place until they sort them selves out. It is only fair that I give my honest opinion to a company that has lied to me already.
It’s not right or fair, and I’m sure if it were the other way around you’d have me in court.

Ordered another book, a bad decision.
2nd book arrived no title page chapter headings on different pages. poor quality printing. Just a rubbish volume.

Delivery of a book to Germany was absolutely smoothly and on time. Packaging was sufficient and book arrived without blemishes. Highly recommended!

I've only recently discovered PBShop online and have purchased twice from this company. There is a wide range of books to choose from and order, and I highly recommend calling customer service even for a small query, because there is a fabulous team working there. They are all so friendly, efficient and professional, that chatting with them will make you feel heard, that you are important to them, and any issues will be dealt with and responded to very quickly.

Worst service ever. Took 10 days to get my book to the courier (Yodel). Yodel then took 4 days to get my book to me. The bookstore is 42 miles from me, a road journey of just over hour, yet it took 14 days for my order to arrive. I could have walked to the shop and back in less time. I will never deal with this shop, ABE books, or Yodel again.
